"Zee, are you inside?"
It was her dad's voice.
Her senses spread throughout the house. Laziel was already on his bed, hugging his watermelon. He had fallen deeply asleep.
Meanwhile, there were no sounds from Nyra's room too, so most likely she should be asleep already. It was safe, right?
So, she let out a small yip, only enough for her dad to hear. There was silence on the other side. She tilted her head a little, waiting.
Not long after, the door was opened. Her dad went inside. His eyes widened in shock when he saw her.
"Zee, what is this…?" He pointed to her tails.
Now, she has two tails. She subconsciously licked her paw. A nine-tailed fox having more than one tail was normal, but her dad, a complete mortal, didn't know this.
She pointed at herself, letting out soft yipping sounds, telling him it was okay. Actually, it was good news for her.
If she could be a full nine-tailed fox, then finding a way to break out of this world shouldn't be difficult.
