Even though I've seen it once, it still surprises me. That kind of power already qualifies as an S-rank forbidden technique.

Watching Sasuke's move, Minato couldn't help but sigh in admiration.

Sasuke stood still, eyes sharp. Before him, a golden, multi-armed Buddha statue nearly ten meters tall emerged. The Flying Thunder God Slash and Thunder Cannon struck it with force. Although its form was shattered in places, it remained standing, resisting the impact.

After being struck by the attack, the golden Buddha suddenly transformed into a crimson Asura-like wrathful guardian. Dozens of enormous arms clenched into fists and hammered down toward Sasuke with deafening force.

"Proud child of heaven! Iron citadel wall, dragon's stride, lion's roar, tiger's howl, wolf's charge! Sever heaven and earth before they collapse—Hadō #81: Dankū!"

With a resonant chant, a massive transparent barrier erupted in front of Sasuke. The flurry of colossal fists smashed against the wall of energy, but the barrier remained unshaken.

Minato's eyes lit up in excitement when he heard the name of the move.

> "That name is just too cool… Way better than my 'Spiral Flash Super Round Dance Howl Style Three'... Even more stylish than Lord First's 'Ultimate Body Flicker Style Double Fire Release Giant Shuriken' technique. I need to come up with something even flashier next time!"

Minato nodded to himself, making a secret mental note.

He thought Sasuke's incantation was part of the move's name and, for a moment, felt an odd kinship with him.

Sasuke, of course, had no idea what Minato was thinking. He was too focused on the battlefield to care.

"Hadō #78: Zangerin!"

A blade of condensed spiritual energy formed mid-air and cleaved straight through the Asura statue. Already weakened by previous attacks, the wrathful avatar couldn't withstand this final blow—it was sliced clean in half. Asuma, who had been controlling it, suffered internal backlash and stumbled.

"Bakudō #62: Hyapporankan."

Dozens of blue-white rods of light materialized and launched toward the three jōnin. Asuma swung his trench knives to parry, while Kurenai and Hizashi quickly dodged aside.

> Let me take out one first. I did save you indirectly before—hopefully you won't hold a grudge.

"Bakudō #61: Rikujōkōrō."

Six bars of golden light shot out, pinning Hizashi in place mid-motion. Immediately after, the rods from Hyapporankan pinned him further and flung him backward—fixing him against the wall of the training field.

"Hadō #4: Byakurai."

A streak of silver lightning crackled from Sasuke's fingertip and punched a hole in the wall next to Hizashi's head—declaring him "out."

With that, Sasuke released the restraints, allowing Hizashi to collapse gently to the ground.

> "Looks like my brother underestimated him." Hizashi chuckled, shaking his head, now understanding that Hiashi's earlier warning wasn't an exaggeration.

Only two opponents remained—and one was practically a non-combatant now.

It had to be admitted: Asuma's strength was quite solid. He contributed throughout the fight and had plenty of tricks up his sleeve. If he had known about Hidan's ability in advance...

> No, even so—he'd probably still die to Kakuzu.

"Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning!"

A blast of superheated ash and smoke erupted from Asuma's mouth, covering Sasuke in a dark haze.

Minato focused his sensory ability. If Sasuke couldn't counter, he would intervene immediately.

"Bakudō #73: Tozanshō."

A downward-pointing, inverted pyramid-shaped shield of energy surrounded Sasuke. While not as impenetrable as Dankū, its full-area defense was valuable.

Asuma bit his lip, igniting a spark—detonating the ash cloud with a roar of fire.

He'd hesitated before launching the follow-up attack, but seeing the defensive spell appear so suddenly reassured him. Sasuke's abilities were too overwhelming: deadly offense, solid defense, rapid spellcasting—it was near-impossible to find an opening.

When the smoke cleared, the sky-blue barrier had been shattered. But Sasuke's body was nowhere in sight.

Minato, still perceiving his chakra, knew Sasuke hadn't moved. The others, however, were on high alert.

Sasuke had used Bakudō #26: Kyokko, which bent light around his form to make him invisible just before the explosion.

Asuma and Kurenai scanned their surroundings, tense and wary.

"Hadō #31: Shakkahō!"

A crimson orb of spiritual energy suddenly manifested and launched with blinding speed—barely missing Asuma's face and slamming into the wall behind him, where it exploded.

"Asuma-senpai, does that count as a win?" Sasuke appeared casually from the shadows, smiling faintly.

A fine line of blood traced down Asuma's cheek, and cold sweat broke out on his back. Had that shot been angled a few inches off, his skull might have been pierced.

The scorched wall behind him confirmed how close he'd come.

Asuma exhaled deeply, sheathing his chakra blades. He had lost, despite all the strategies and numbers. Even a 3-on-1 had ended in defeat.

Beside him, Kurenai reluctantly lowered her kunai. She was the last one standing—but she couldn't deal with Sasuke alone. Her strongest genjutsu hadn't affected him at all. What could she do?

And he wasn't even using a kekkei genkai.

> "You're a monster. You're this strong at just 12 years old? When I was your age, I was still training in basic jutsu."

Asuma lit a cigarette and took a drag, ignoring the cut on his cheek. He looked at Sasuke with a wry smile.

> "Even Kakashi can't compare. Sure, he made jōnin at 12, but I doubt he had this much power. What do you think, Kakashi? Want to give it a try? See who's the bigger prodigy?"

He turned toward Kakashi, who had been watching with Minato from the edge.

> "No thanks. Getting humiliated by one Uchiha was enough. I don't need a matching set." Kakashi rolled his eyes. He remembered Itachi had been his opponent during the jōnin assessment—and even with his own Sharingan, he had been overwhelmed by the illusions.

> "My brother was right. 'Monster' doesn't even begin to describe you." Hizashi approached, still feeling the lingering impact of Sasuke's spells. "You took on the three of us without breaking a sweat."

> "No, no," Sasuke replied modestly. "I used everything I had. You seniors are definitely strong."

But no one believed him anymore.

> "Man, I hope I never have to face you for real. Genjutsu immunity is a nightmare for illusion-type ninja." Kurenai sighed.

In truth, Sasuke wasn't completely immune. His spiritual pressure (reiatsu) was just high enough that regular genjutsu barely affected him. Something like Itachi's Tsukuyomi might work—but most of Konoha's genjutsu wouldn't.

Even Infinite Tsukuyomi probably wouldn't do much.

> "So… my evaluation?" Sasuke finally turned to Minato.

> "Congratulations," Minato said, smiling. "You're officially a Konoha jōnin."
