Leo/Ryn
After he blacked out on the cold floor, Ryn had expected that he would probably be dead or something would happen, but he was shocked to find himself in his room with a body lying beside him.
He inhaled the familiar pheromone as he fluttered his eyes open. The room was dimly lit, but it was enough to see Kael's face. He lay beside him, sleeping peacefully.
Ryn stretched his hand to touch his face but stopped himself as he stood up from the bed and walked toward the balcony.
The sky was still dark, and the air was chilly, but yet Ryn wasn't affected by the cold. Instead, he felt warm.
What happened? he thought as he stared at the sky. He knew for certain that Kael had brought him back from the sanctuary, but what he tried to figure out was how he had survived the cold room.
He scratched the back of his head, ran a hand through his hair, trying to remember what had happened.
Why didn't he have a memory of when he blacked out?
