Alpha Lucian stood at the brink of the clif, watching his surroundings as he awaited the return of a man.
A few minutes didn't pass when a guard ran up to him. He was dressed like soldiers of DreadFang Circle, a black trouser and shirt.
"We found nothing, Alpha" he reported, bowing his head.
Lucian smacked him immediately, angered by the negative news he reported.
"You've been searching the entire day!" He shouted, looking up at the dark sky to buttress his point.
"Yet, you still report this to me?" He added .
His annoyance simmered when he saw three more men walking towards him, no sign of Danika in sight.
He scratched his head, trying to calm himself down.
Next, his hand flew to the face of the head guard standing before him, smacking him not once nor twice.
"Why are you all so incompetent ?!" He complained, running his hand once more on his wild hair.
