Location: Great Star Dou Forest
At the heart of the Douluo Continent, the Great Star Dou Forest spanned an unbroken stretch of land. Spanning a territory greater than the collective land of several nations, it was one of the Three Great Spirit Beast Habitats filled with soul beasts of all kinds—be they animal, plant, elemental, or feral titans roaming with ancestral pride.
The forest was divided into three distinct regions: the Outer Region, home to common beasts and soul beast clans; the Hybrid Region, where elemental energy merged and dangerous species mingled; and finally, the Core Region—home of legends and seat of authority for the continent's most feared, ferocious beasts. But only a few ruled at it: those who resided around the Lake of Life, where heaven and earth converged, sat as the true rulers of the forest.
At the center of this domain, presiding over all, sat the most feared and revered—Di Tian, the Beast God, Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King, and leader of the Ten Great Savage Beasts. He was an entity so old and powerful that his roar once echoed alongside gods. His body stretched 3,000 meters long, dark as void, with brilliant golden eyes piercing all beneath the sky.
Beside him were his trusted subordinates:
Bi Ji, the gentle Emerald Swan, hailed as the great healer and guardian of life; Scarlet King, watchful and ever steady; Zi Ji, her violet demonic aura coiled beneath serene grace; Myriad Demon King, veiled in illusions; and Bear Lord, rage incarnate.
Even these hundreds of thousand-year-old beings, capable of shaking nations, now sat with solemn faces. "I have only ever felt this once before," Di Tian said slowly, his voice deep and grating like stone grinding against the sky. "During my years as a loyal guard to the Great Lord… when two worlds clashed." This being, long silent, had finally spoken, uttering the reason behind the pressure felt by the strongest beings of the world. A truth unknown to almost all on this planet, one that had left even the most powerful soul beasts and humans unnerved.
"World clash?" Bi Ji, calm as always, asked with a trace of alarm. "You mean… another world crashing into ours? That would be catastrophic... How much life will be lost?"
She hesitated but continued, "How much can we even save?"
Her question sent a ripple of anxiety through the beasts. The Lake of Life—normally a sanctuary of stillness—felt heavier now, laden with the weight of uncertainty.
Even the mention sent ripples through the other beasts. The Lake of Life trembled faintly. "No," Di Tian replied. "World collisions aren't uncommon when viewed from the scale of the grand scheme of things. Some brush, some indent. Whether this will scar or shatter… only time will tell."
Suddenly, a childish, cheerful voice piped in. "I hope it crashes! Then we get a new world to explore! Maybe I can go visit it with Di Tian~!"
The gathered beasts froze. Who…?
There, padding forward with almost gleeful innocence, a small golden figure. Its golden fur shimmered like divine silk, semi-transparent and flowing with an inner light. Its form resembled a lion, yet its claws were draconic, sheathed in golden flame. Beneath its fur lay fine, glimmering scales, and from its forehead bloomed its most terrifying feature—a vertical third eye, glowing red with an uncanny brilliance. The Three-Eyed Golden Lion—the Auspicious Beast. Also known as the Emperor Beast of the soul beast race, a divine creature born from the prosperity and luck of the Star Dou Forest itself. Despite his childish form, his status was second only to Di Tian, and his personality... wildly unpredictable.
Every beast instinctively averted their gaze completely out of exasperation.
"Little ancestor..." muttered the Scarlet King, stepping in like a weary parent, "Don't speak such nonsense. Di Tian himself said it—clashes like that are rare. It's likely just a brush of space and nothing more. Beasts like us must not speak of doom lightly."
The golden beast tilted his head, rolled its eyes, unfazed, tail swishing like a carefree child. His third eye dimmed briefly, as if merely blinking in curiosity.
Di Tian, who could obliterate a Titled Douluo with a blink, only shook his massive head slightly. In front of others, he was Beast God, ruler of the soul beast race.
But before this mischievous cub? He thought, "This old father... how helpless I've become in front of this troublemaker."
Silence returned, but due to the mischief of the little troublemaker, solemnness was slightly elevated.
Suddenly, without warning, the colossal body of the Beast God shifted. Di Tian—the dragon who ruled the continent's soul beast domain without peer—knelt.
The moment Di Tian knelt, the rest followed. Bi Ji stepped forward quietly. The Scarlet King lowered his head without hesitation. Even the ever-playful little Emperor Beast settled into stillness, his usual antics replaced with uncharacteristic calm.
They all knew who rested beneath.
Time passed, the lake silent as ever. Then Di Tian rose again, slower this time, eyes no longer cold or calculating—but thoughtful, almost unsettled.
He looked around at the gathered beasts and spoke in a steady voice: "The Lord… gave a response."
A hush swept over the clearing. "He confirmed it. This is no minor tremor. The world is colliding—no, merging—with another. It's real. And it's coming."
He let that sink in, his tone heavier before continuing: "He said we must prepare. Changes are coming—not just for us, but for the world itself. There may be new beings from the other world. We shall welcome them… guide those of the beast tribes… and bring them beneath the blessing of the Lord."
Even the deepest forests weren't the only ones stirred.
Location: Endless Sea
Far from land, in the endless blue where few dared to explore, the sea trembled with a different kind of unease.
Beneath the waves—where sunlight could no longer reach and only madness endured—something stirred. Something old. Something vengeful.
There, casting a shadow broader than any island above, rested a leviathan of legend.
A titanic whale, body spanning more than a thousand meters, eyes glowing dimly with a madness tempered only by hate. The Demon Empress, a near million-year-old soul beast.
Her true name lost to the ages, but her fury is remembered by sea and silence alike. Once the wife of the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, she had ruled the depths in quiet power. But after his fall, after betrayal from sea and man alike, all she knew was loss.
And hate the hate that followed. "This… disturbance in heaven and earth… Could it be opportunity? Or Tribulation?"
Her voice rumbled like a tidal quake, echoing through leagues of water. "If this is an opportunity… then I will seize it. Sea God Tang San, I shall have my revenge. Not just against you—but against everything your name and legacy touches."
Her massive body shifted within the abyss, silent currents curling in reverence and fear. Her mind had already begun plotting.
Elsewhere—far from ocean and city, within a mysterious mountain range veiled in clouds and protected by long-lost formations—another power stirred.
Few knew the truth.
The Clear Sky Sect, long thought extinct, still endured.
Tucked high above mortal paths, its ancient castle remained untouched by time, guarded by those who were neither human nor wholly divine.
Two figures stood by the main hall's entrance. One was a towering, broad-shouldered man with brown-gold eyes and hair like steel spikes. His presence was bold and forthright, with a quiet fire beneath. The other stood taller still, azure-haired, solemn and calm, his aura more composed but no less potent.
Er Ming—the Titan Giant Ape.
Da Ming—the Sky Azure Bull Python.
Once revered as overlords of the Great Star Dou Forest, they had sacrificed their lives to protect Tang San, becoming his stepping stones to godhood.
And now… they walked again. Descended from the God Realm, sealed and restrained, yet not powerless. God Priests, they now remained within this sanctuary, unable to roam freely—but still far above all except a chosen few like Di Tian.
Inside the great stone hall, their conversation resumed.
Da Ming's gaze turned toward the sky, his voice deep and thoughtful. "I haven't felt this before… But I've seen it. Back in the God Realm, I came across records—phenomena from when worlds or dimensions collided. This kind of pressure, this disturbance… it matches those descriptions. It's not just spiritual turbulence—it's a large-scale disruption in the plane's fabric. And I tried to contact him but something's wrong."
Er Ming tilted his head, his voice casual but heavy. "You mean the God King?" "Yes," Da Ming replied. "The connection, it's there. But distant. Like a paper pigeon sent through clouds. The seamless link we once had—it's delayed and disrupted."
Er Ming's eyes narrowed slightly. "That's… unusual. But you're overthinking it, Brother. If anything was truly amiss, he would've told us. He's our Lord now. He governs gods. What in the lower realms could trouble someone like that?"
Da Ming didn't answer immediately. He stood still for a moment, the flicker of unease still in his eyes. "I hope you're right."
Er Ming chuckled, stepping back toward the grand door. "Anyway, we're not just anyone either. If something really happens, we can always unseal the divine power. As long as we guard this range, as instructed… we've done our part."
And with that, the hall once more grew quiet.
Now, with interference stretching thin, even the God Realm could no longer directly influence the mortal Douluo Plane. The realm that once responded without delay now echoed faintly, distantly—its reach fading.
Would the 10,000-year plan laid down by the one now revered as God King Tang San see its conclusion? Or would this world, for once, move free from the threads above?
Left to run on its own.
Unlike in another time and space, where paths were forced and fates predetermined—this time, perhaps, the mortal realm would walk a road not scripted, but chosen.
Let's see what the story entails.
