The sun shone through the windows of a child's bedroom.
Ody's eyes fluttered awake as the suns rays hit his face. Though he quickly groaned and covered his head with his blanket.
After a few minutes knocking could be heard coming from the door.
"Young master, it is time to wake up," a maid said through the door.
"Do I have to?" Asked Ody hope full he could sleep in.
"Well young master if you would like to miss the wonderful breakfast prepared by Olara the it can't be helped," said the maid.
She turned towards the other maids "wait for it,". The newer maid s were confused while the older ones could only chuckle.
Soon random crashing could be heard coming from Ody's room. Soon the door opened to show a fully dressed Ody.
"Sorry for the mess but a divine breakfast awaits me," Ody said as he dramatically ran to the dining room.
"Careful not to trip on the air once again young master," the maid called out to him. "That happened one time!!" Ody called out with an embarrassed blush.
Soon he made it to the dining room doors. As he opened them he saw two people already sitting down at the table.
At the head of the table sat a man. Tall, gruff and growing old with age. Blonde hair slowly turning to white hair. Eyes shining with patience as if waiting for the world to act before deciding his next move. He wore regal clothes and a golden crown lay on the table next to him. That was Ody's father, Laertes.
His mother sat to his right. Her beauty still apparent even after giving birth to two kids. She had warm and kind eyes that could warm even the harshest of hearts and wit that would leave many astonished.
Ody quickly walked to the chair to his fathers left.
"Morning father, mother," Ody greeted before sitting down in the chair.
"Morning son," Laertes and Anticlea both Replied.
Ody quickly sat down and was quickly served by the maids.
Ody's eyes shone like stars as he saw a lambchop, eggs, and some peas were put on to his plate. He quickly ate the eggs loving the spices and texture. Then he picked up and tried to take a bite out of the lambchop but struggled tearing off a piece.
"Do you need me to tear up the lambchop for you Ody?" asked Anticlea caringly. "Nnnnssshooo, ia gwot thwisss," Ody said still trying to take a bite of the lambchop.
"Remember your manners boy," spoke a voice from behind Ody. Ody could only groan but put down his lambchop. "Sorry for speaking with food in my mouth," Ody apologized. Anticlea just gave a small chuckle at his actions while Laertes just smiled.
"Now hurry up and eat your food we must get back to your training," Odysseus spoke from behind Ody's chair. "And don't even dare think of not eating your vegetables unless you want more training again," Odysseus said with a small sadistic smile on his face.
Ody quickly paled hearing his words and could only remember the hellish punishment he had to suffer just for not eating his peas one day. From that day onwards Ody would always eat his vegetables much to his parents happiness.
Soon Ody was able to finish his food and soon stood up.
"Father, Mother I will be going to my lessons now," Ody said as he walked away.

*ggrrrr*fwooo*grrrrr*
Sounds of grunting could be heard coming from a small clearing in a forest nearby the castle.
There Ody was having to do push ups with small bricks on his back.
"25, only 25 more left, then we will move on to 100 sword strikes," Odysseus said as he overlooked Ody's Training.
Ody could only groan but accepted it and kept pushing through as he got closer to his goal of 50 push ups.[1]
"Grit your teeth, clench your muscles, clear your mind, and push through your pain," Odysseus would encourage as Ody had reached 40 push ups.
"47, 48, 49, ....50, you can rest now boy, but steel yourself as you will soon start your sword strikes," Odysseus said as Ody collapsed on the ground.
"Why....Do....I.....Have.....To....Train.....This...Hard?" asked Ody through ragged breaths.
"Other...Kids...Are...Playing..Pretend..And..Even Resting At Home, But I'm here struggling and fighting?" asked Ody as he started to catch his breath.
"Why you ask?" Odysseus said as he found the question amusing. "Yes, sir," Ody replied.
"I will tell you when you can finally defeat me in a duel," Odysseus told him.
"But your much stronger and bigger then me, how am I supposed to beat you?" Ody questioned him.
"That is why any conflict is not just won over by strength but with wit," Odysseus explained reminiscing of a certain goddess of wisdom and war.
"If you can outsmart and trick the strongest man, then he becomes the weak and trapped," Odysseus explained.
Ody listened to his wisdom and could only look at awe at Odysseus. "I understand teacher, I will do my best to be the strongest, and smartest," Ody replied with renewed vigor.
"Hahaha, well I guess since you want to shoot for the stars then we can always double your exercises," Odysseus said with a sly smile as Ody's smile froze.
"You shouldn't joke like that teacher," Ody said jokingly but Odysseus stayed quiet still smiling.
"It was just a joke right teacher?!" Ody could only ask in fear.
Odysseus just sat their his smile no longer seeming like a smile.
[1] I know to some 50 push ups doesn't seem like much but I tried to lower it as he is only around 5-6 years old right now. Even now I still think I might have done too much.
