"Diary of Shot Darali — Mage of the Third Circle," Lin easily read the title and paused to think:
"So this is a Mage's diary? Those are quite rare in the Magic World... That means I really am in the Magic World, and not somewhere else."
Lin let out a relieved sigh and slowly opened the first page, thinking:
"A diary or any other record of this world's past is highly valued by historians. And this is the diary of a full-fledged Mage!"
Long ago, people had discovered that before the Distortion, humans in this world possessed "Magic"—it was the main science studied and revered by the people here. That's where the name "Magic World" comes from — because of magic.
