Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Idea of Factions

Mentally exhausted from yesterday, the day passed quickly. Upon checking the time, I realized that it's the next day already. I noticed that Klaus and Lukas weren't here beside me in the master bed so I assumed they were already in the dining room.

A maid informed me that the morning breakfast had begun, so I rushed to my bath and went there quickly.

Upon arriving, I was surprised to see this sight. Ally, and Alliza, dining with the seven siblings. Klaus and Lukas were also there.

Looks like they saved a seat for me in the second chair in Francis' right. Klaus in the first chair, Lukas in the third, while Alliza and Ally sat in the next chairs.

"Good, you're here." Ally greeted me.

"Oh? Why are you guys not eating? The breakfast started already... I even thought I was late." I spoke.

"Are you kidding? Look at everyone here sitting. The people in front of me are the ones responsible for adding graves outside the kingdom, they're also the ones who kidnapped my mother. Do you think we'll be able to eat with this awkward atmosphere?!" Ally's voice went loud.

"I apologize for that. Please start eating, all of you must have been starving." I quickly apologized.

"I also wanted to talk to all of you about something." I announced.

The meals have gotten cold so I used fire magic to heat up the food.

Once I began eating, it seemed like they began eating too. Ally's right, in this situation I am their middle man, a way for them to communicate with one another, because frankly, they shouldn't talk with another at all.

"This kingdom may be run by powerful people but have you wondered why there are only ten thousand people that live in this kingdom?" I asked the seven.

They couldn't answer me and only turned their heads down when I looked at them. It was clear that the words I just said held a sad meaning, which is why I said it.

It might not fix things but it might remedy the dire situation this kingdom is currently in.

They wanted to earn their title of savior rightfully when I asked them so that's when I started my proposal of an idea.

The kingdom is huge but it is underpopulated which leads to its undeveloped properties, leading to vast empty spaces across the kingdom.

Fortunately, when I searched the whole kingdom, I found seven vast spaces where the buildings I wanted constructed can be placed.

The idea I proposed to them was Factions.

Sword Faction

Formal Name: The Legion of the Hundred Blades

Main Instructor: Manuel

Purpose: To rigorously train young swordsmen and swordswomen in the mastery of diverse sword styles, fostering discipline, adaptability, and unwavering courage. The faction instills respect for the art of the blade and cultivates protectors who can defend the kingdom with skill and honor.

Shield Faction

Formal Name: The Bastion of Impenetrable Defense

Main Instructor: Gust

Purpose: To teach children the art of defense, resilience, and steadfastness through shield techniques and unbreakable spirit. This faction prepares students to be the kingdom's unyielding guardians, emphasizing teamwork, patience, and the strength found in protection rather than aggression.

Staff Faction

Formal Name: The Circle of Silent Magic

Main Instructor: Ivis

Purpose: To teach children the art of defense, resilience, and steadfastness through shield techniques and unbreakable spirit. This faction prepares students to be the kingdom's unyielding guardians, emphasizing teamwork, patience, and the strength found in protection rather than aggression.

Gear Faction

Formal Name: The Guild of Whimsical Artificiers

Main Instructor: Eva

Purpose: To inspire creativity and innovation in children, teaching them to invent, tinker, and engineer with curiosity and joy. This faction encourages playful experimentation and critical thinking, shaping the kingdom's future inventors, engineers, and problem-solvers who will drive progress and discovery.

Beast Faction

Formal Name: The Kinship of Gentle Wilds

Main Instructor: William

Purpose: To nurture compassion and harmony with nature by teaching children the ways of beast taming, animal empathy, and environmental stewardship. The faction raises caretakers and defenders of the natural world who understand the bonds between humans and creatures, fostering kindness and mutual respect.

Healing Faction

Formal Name: The Harmony of Healed Hymns

Main Instructor: Sarin

Purpose: To gently guide children in the art of healing, teaching them to cultivate patience, empathy, and inner strength. This faction dedicates itself to nurturing compassionate healers who understand that true power comes from restoring balance and offering hope, training students to care for both body and spirit with quiet confidence and kindness.

Assassin Faction

Formal Name: The Secret Society

Main Instructor: Ally

Purpose: To train children in the deadly arts of stealth, precision, and psychological discipline. The faction cultivates cold focus, adaptability, and absolute discretion—turning its students into shadows that strike without warning and vanish without trace.

This proposal brought out my thesis making skills which I didn't know I would use because I hate doing thesis. But this is just a proposal and a formal yet detailed introduction to the idea is very important for its implementation.

I made sure that this emphasizes the prioritization of children because they will be easier to mend and they are symbols of hope, happiness, as well as a perfect symbol of this kingdom's future growth.

World's Voice, I'm about to use search magic. I wanted to know how many children there are in this kingdom and how many of them have the potential to develop their skills in the factions.

{Okay.}

{Three thousand children. One thousand and five hundred who have potential.}

{Notice. There are seven individuals who possess great potential.}

Really? That's super helpful! Thanks!

All of them seemed pleased with my idea but before they agreed on it, they asked me how they are going to teach when they don't have the capacity for it. I assured them that there's an implementation phase and preparation phase.

Preparation phase:

This was my proposal to them. But because this was overwhelming even for me, even though I am the one who created and thought of all of it, hehe.

So I created a physical copy of the proposal by using magic. It wasn't that hard to do but it was tricky because magic cannot create anything out of nowhere, conjured yes but not creation out of thin air.

Thankfully, the morph's ability to transform physical matter to another physical matter was transferred to my [Lust] skill. So the slabs I made using earth magic were instantly turned into durable papers.

Of course, I made the paper fireproof and waterproof to avoid accidents. Files Like this are important and they must always be ready for presentation.

Since it was rude to do all of that in front of them I had it done in my soul space and it worked completely fine. It's not completely convenient but it's functional.

Hmmm... How am I going to write it though? I used to love writing with my hand, although I was primarily forced to because my teachers would always want a notebook filled with detailed information about their taught syllabus.

But as future teachers didn't require it, I didn't do it and I stopped writing with my hand and now I completely hate it because it makes my hand hurt.

Gosh! I really want to write without using my hands. I could use magic though but I have no clue right now.

{Upon request. World's Voice has successfully acquired a new function: [Writer].}

{Function [Writer] allows me to automatically write anything you request.}

Woah! I like how you're very convenient! Thanks! Can you write the proposals? Write in all of the paper I made.

In an instant World's Voice was able to inscribe the proposal into perfection. Now, the only problem is the binding. It needs to be bound by a strong cover so it holds elegance and durability.

Slabs into cardboards as cover... Success! Hmmm... Now how am I going to finish it now...

{Upon strong desire. World's Voice has successfully acquired a new function: [Crafter].}

{Function [Crafter] lets me create anything within knowledge.}

Oh... Yay! Let's go! Create my proposals for me, thanks!

Fifty proposals in my soul space and took twelve of them out for each of us to read. Success!

At this point, we were done eating and the maids took away the foods in front of us so that's when I gave the proposals to each of them so that they can comprehensively understand the proposal in its form.

After thoroughly reading the proposal, they said that there can be numerous issues that might occur during the preparation and implementation.

I wanted to find out what those are but they insisted that they should be the one to solve those. "Please let us handle those. We are grateful for your idea and we want to make it happen as soon as possible." Francis said to me, the others even Ally and Alliza nodded in agreement.

Francis emphasized that the construction of the academies can be done soon because there was no problem in anything but they need a blueprint and a layout created by a dwarf. Which can take more than four weeks because the dwarf would have to travel from Draven, the Kingdom of Dwarves, to Bell, where travel time is thirty days.

I could teleport to the kingdom of dwarves if possible but it isn't because I haven't been there so I need to ask Bela if she has.

She apologized to me that she hasn't been there once therefore unable to teleport us there. I apologized too for only telepathically communicating with her or any of the virtues and sins whenever I want something. She assured me that it's fine so I let the guilt go.

I was never the person who initiates the conversation, that's why it was hard for me to talk to them without having a very valid reason or else I would feel bad wasting their time talking to them.

Besides, I didn't really have many chances to initiate conversation because I only had a limited amount of friends who I don't need to initiate with because they know me.

But since the sins and the virtues are my friends, I need to treat them like a friend or else I'd be a very bad friend and I don't like that.

So I made sure to have a rain check on them thrice in a week so that I know that they're well and doing good.

With no choice left, I was forced to travel to the kingdom of dwarves which will take thirty days or more depending on how fast we are able to find a dwarf. I can teleport back from Bell easily so it wouldn't cost me another thirty days from here to there and there to here.

Ally requested that she and her mother come with me but I rejected her request because I need her to stay in Bell to prepare all the things needed to prepare while I am away.

She informed me that she doesn't trust the seven siblings without me. So I asked the seven siblings if they had any lingering negative emotions against Ally and they seemed to be very okay with it. Their responses were as if they were forced into it but I didn't push it further because my skill didn't detect any lies. Despite their tone, they are sincere with it.

Although, I noticed that when I asked the seven, I felt Klaus and Lukas gaze and a faint of their aura.

Hm... Did something happen? I remember that when I went into the room yesterday, I didn't see Klaus or Lukas follow me.

There's nothing I could do. I trust the two so I won't be nosy.

The conversation ended and Francis was eager to order his people to prepare a carriage and horses for us to use to travel to the kingdom of dwarves.

Lunch and dinner happened, and the day slowly passed. I could feel my boredom palpitating through my very body and I was actually quite happy that the next day was about to start.

Our travel began shortly right after the next day began. A white carriage with a gold bell crest, and two horses in the front and a driver guiding the horses. The driver's name is Vlad.

It was only after two hours we were on the road that I became really bored. So I tried to get information about the details of Klaus' and Lukas' life.

It was interesting to learn that Klaus and Lukas were both one thousand and five hundred years old.

They both told me that they didn't really do much but they were both good at something. Klaus is good at martial arts while Lukas is good at using the sword.

The information they told me didn't even kill a minute so it was disappointing to learn there's not much about Klaus' and Lukas' lives.

I was so bored that I forgot that magic existed and I could use it. So during the trip, I wanted to create different types of spells as well as master all kinds of magic.

There I thought of three spells of fire magic: Hell Sphere, Phoenix, and Ember's Crown.

I wanted to challenge myself so I made sure they have three requirements: Mana Control, Precision, and Imagination.

Hell Sphere: A highly intensified, scorching fireball as hot as hell itself. It requires exceptional mana control and precise shaping to maintain its intense heat and explosive power.

Phoenix: Conjures gentle, small phoenixes of flame that gracefully approach targets but unleash deadly fiery bursts upon contact. It demands precise mental control, vivid imagination of flame constructs, and careful mana control..

I liked creating magic spells so I created other elements as well. Though, I'm not sure if they're already created or not because I don't have any knowledge about existing spells.

And because I thought I might run out of ideas, I wanted to try to create one each day and master that one spell so everyday won't be so boring.

Frost Touch: Spell revolves around fingertip which turns anything it touches into ice. It required my imagination, precision, and mana control. Any imbalance and the spell would have turned into Frost Hand because the spell always spreads around my palm.

Blizzard Rain: Summons a cloud that rains snowflakes instead of water droplets, and each snowflakes upon contact gradually weakens them. The caster's water magic is boosted while this spell is active. It needed intense mana control, imagination, and precision. Casting the cloud required mana control and imagination while the snowflakes needed precision.

Aqua Piercer: A drill made of water that spins really fast allowing it to pierce through anything. It wasn't really creative but it did need precision and intense mana control. Mana control allows me to speed up the spin of the drill and precision allows me to maintain control of the fast spinning drill.

Cyclone: A conjured storm that creates omni-directional air pressure, resulting in devastating damage to anything. Mana control and imagination were needed for casting it and maintaining it, while precision allows me to make it as omni-directional as I can.

Nature Bind: Summons roots, vines, or rocky tendrils that erupt from the ground to entangle and immobilize targets. The grasp adapts to terrain, growing from soil or stone, and tightens with the caster's will.

Earth Prison: Four pillars connecting four walls made of earth are conjured to trap anything. Not really that hard to create, this is probably classified as a basic earth magic spell.

Elemental Field: A barrier that contains all elemental attributes making elemental magic more powerful. Mana control was needed to imbue six different elemental attributes to the barrier, while precision and imagination does not matter that much.

After creating all those spells, I gained a new superior skill called [Elemental Magic Mastery], which enhances my elemental magic.

DANG IT! It only took me a day to create all those spells and master them. Only a day has passed and there are twenty nine days left to go, so I became really bored because I ran out of ideas on spells.

I tried moving on to the skills but I was already acquainted with all of them, even my new supreme skill [Ultimate Prodigy], a skill I got by integrating the six siblings' skills and Ally's, and [King of Memories], which I got from Francis. I made a connection during the meeting, or after? I'm not sure.

This is so boring! I'm afraid I'll act impulsive if I become completely unable to stimulate my mind even though magic and everything fantasy exists in this world.

Ugh... This is so boring!

...

What happened...

{Notice. Accessing memories via skill [King of Memories].}

Oh. My. God. This is so embarrassing! Because of boredom and lack of mental stimulation, an impulse controlled my mind and my body into using an invisibility magic spell and a reckless attempt to bypass the travel time.

Wait... But the attempt worked. My [Flight] skill evolved first into [Ultraspeed Flight] but it wasn't enough so it evolved furthermore into [Lord of Flight].

That's right! I could finally instantly teleport to the kingdom of dwarves and finally bypass the thirty day travel time with ease! YAY!

So... Uhm... Since I already achieved what I wanted, I'll try my best to repress these embarrassing memories!

Klaus and Lukas informed me that I suffered from excessive loss of mana and mental exhaustion from using my flight skill excessively.

My body shut down before I could teleport myself back into the carriage so World's Voice acted on my behalf and teleported me instead.

I sent the carriage and Vlad back to Bell Kingdom, and informed Francis telepathically about the current situation I am in right now. I also told him that I might come back sooner if I found a dwarf.

He seemed happy, relieved, and impressed when I talked to him. I don't get the impressed part, but I am happy and relieved I could instantly travel because I hate travelling because of my motion sickness, which would not apply in this world because I have a mental defense skill but travels are boring so I still hate it.

Before we could ask for a dwarf to come, the three of us needed to enter the kingdom through the entrance where they held inspection of entering persons.

The dwarves in the entrance didn't seem short. I guess dwarves can either be short or normal. It is common for dwarves to mate with humans, in games and anime, so it's plausible the genetic lottery is like that.

Thanks to my exceptional sense of sight, I was able to see and learn that the guards in the entrance were inspecting guild cards given to them by incoming people of the kingdom.

A grey guild card which consists of our name, age, race, rank, and job. When I used my exceptional sense of sight I noticed that most of the people entering are people who have non-combat jobs, mostly gathering and crafting.

So when I made our guild cards, I made sure that our jobs were believable.

Name: Lester

Age: 17 years old

Race: Human

Job: Student

Rank: E

Name: Klaus

Age: 30 years old

Race: Human

Job: Miner

Rank: D

Name: Lukas

Age: 30 years old

Race: Human

Job: Miner

Rank: D

When it was our time, nothing went wrong after the guards checked our guild cards. It was a safe entry.

I thought it was until we were apprehended by five dwarves. The one in front of me whispered and gestured to us to follow them, I wanted to ask but he only replied in silence and that's when I looked around and realized there were four more dwarves surrounding Klaus' and Lukas' side, completely blocking our path to any direction.

I telepathically told the two to stay put and not cause any trouble for them and just silently follow them. We were escorted to the kingdom's castle to meet the king.

Right now, we are in the presence of the kingdom of dwarves. His throne elevated, forcing us to tilt our heads up to look at him.

Two guards each at each path of left and right. The five dwarves surrounding us completely. This must be something serious because this is what I would expect if I did something bad.

"Creation of fake guild cards and Possession of fake guild cards. That is your crime, what do you plead?" His deep and interrogative tone questioned us.

Fake? I made sure they were exactly the same, even the guild emblems so how did they know that they are fakes? Should I plead guilty?

Francis didn't give me any guild cards, so I assumed it was obtainable through registration from Adventurer's Guild.

The Bell Kingdom didn't have one so they couldn't really give us or create one for us.

"I apologize, but may I ask how do you know they are fake?" I apologized and knelt.

"Impressive manners but you just admitted your crime." He spoke.

"Yes. But can my side be heard, Your Majesty?" I requested.

He agreed and allowed me to share my story. I told him that we were from Bell Kingdom looking to find a dwarf to create a blueprint and layout of upcoming buildings we wanted constructed.

They heard my side but they were still displeased with it. Looks like their dissatisfaction only grew when I mentioned that we were from Bell Kingdom.

A kingdom and the people running it treating its people horribly based on their social status would make other kingdoms and their rulers wary of them.

But this only means that the king of the dwarves is a man of integrity, just, and benevolence. I like him, I wish our first impression were a much better one.

The room became silent until a dwarf hurriedly announced something.

"Your Majesty! An Elemental Colossal has emerged in the mines! It's a Water Serpent!" The panicked and out of breath dwarf announced.
