Kaela was circling around the door of a room that was still closed. It had been more than two hours, and there were still no signs of someone coming outside.
But she knew her lady and young master Leon were inside, probably sleeping, but it was way past their usual wake-up routine. It was 10:30 am as she opened the pocket watch she took out of her pocket.
She didn't know what might have happened to both of them to stay up so late. Normally, she wouldn't have weird thoughts, but the suspicious last night scene when she left them alone, and more importantly, there had been rumors going around the mansion that Lady Seraphine and young master Leon were lovers. A few of them had even seen them kissing each other, not a platonic kiss.
There had to be some truth to the words, as without it, maids wouldn't dare make such assumptions. If they had really seen it, then her lady had likely allowed it, and all odds told her that something big had happened between them last night.
