Chapter 44 - Spin Time, Baby!

After saying goodbye to Obito, Aizen finally made it home and headed straight to his room. He took a quick bath, barely five minutes, then rushed to his bed. He couldn't wait any longer.

[Points: 300]

It had been nearly 10 months since his last spin.

How he managed to hold back this long? Only he knew.

Even at night, as he tried to sleep, a voice would whisper in his head: Do it. Spin it. Use it.

But he stayed firm.

One reason was the Assimilation process. His templates still weren't fully integrated, not even close. Sure, Daredevil and the Mist Hashira might not seem overpowered at first glance, but their experience, instincts, and skills ran deep. Transferring that into a child body wasn't easy. Even though he wasn't a normal human anymore, that kind of mental and physical adaptation took time.

Another reason? He wanted to build up spins.

The last time he waited just three months before spinning, he ended up with two temporary but life-saving boons. That strategy worked, so he figured, why not push it further?

He'd aimed for a full year this time...

But ten months? That was already stretching his limit.

And now—with 300 points in hand and that itch stronger than ever…

It was time.

No hesitation. Aizen dumped 90 points and spun the damn thing.

Aizen didn't give two shits about most of it. His eyes zeroed in on the character cards.

Haohmaru. His raw power might not spike drastically if absorbed, but even a little boost was worth it. Every bit counted.

Then came Lisa Cuddy. He paused. Absorb? Nah. He figured it'd be smarter to keep her around. Having a proper medic in the Uchiha's corner? That was a game-changer. Especially someone from a high-pressure, no-mistakes field like medicine. Imagine her after some chakra training and medical ninjutsu. Yeah… useful.

Next up was Minami Namikaze. Name didn't ring any bells from canon. Judging by the info, she had to be from some alternate timeline. A jōnin-class kunoichi, sensory-type, strong taijutsu, solid ninjutsu, and to top it off, she knew fuinjutsu. Oh, and she was Tsunade's daughter-in-law?

Aizen actually cursed out loud.

"Fuck…"

This chick was like a cheat code for the Uchiha. Even without Mangekyō, she'd sit comfortably at high-jōnin or borderline Kage-level. He seriously debated whether to reincarnate her or just absorb the card. But then he remembered—he had a brand-new Assimilation slot. That sealed the deal.

Anyone trained by Tsunade and skilled in fuinjutsu? That's way too valuable to let go.

Then came Lisa Cuddy again. No powers, but sharp as hell. With the right setup, she could still be a big asset.

And finally, Miyamoto Musashi.

The legend himself.

The Legend Himself.

Took a second to think it through… but c'mon. Like hell I'd pass on him. Assimilated. No hesitation. Dude's a straight-up beast with a blade. That's gold, man. Pure value. Might not be flashy like some OP template, but experience like that? You feel it in every swing. Had to take it.

After that, he skimmed through the rest, just in case anything else popped.

Oh? What do we have here?

Another card similar to the Reincarnation Tyre Insert one, but this one's labeled Transmigrator. Simple to get the gist—like the Reincarnator, but instead of just giving a whole new identity, this one's more... grim.

It just lets the character in card slide into a fresh corpse. Yeah, dead body, no sugar-coating that. Catch is, he gotta be on the scene within ten minutes and no more than five meters away.

Not bad, honestly. With this war heating up, there's gonna be bodies everywhere soon. He will definitely have chances to use it.

Then, boom—he see it.

A new mode he hadn't seen before.

Anime Mode (Temporary Unlock)

Huh. That's new.

A limited-time spin mode. Same core idea, but with a twist. Each card cost 9 points, and you could pull up to 16 cards max. So, 144 points gone in one move.

Made him frown. That's a lot of points. Could've done triple the number of spins in normal mode with that.

But here's where it got sketchy. Anime mode didn't mean guaranteed anime characters like Goku. It could be literally anything from anime. Like the Superman plushie he just pulled. A damn stuffed toy.

So yeah, the chances of getting garbage were high.

But still… screw it.
