Chapter 1 - Chapter 0

(Everything is narrated through our Main character Lola's eyes unless I specify otherwise)

Everyone, one time or another wanted to write a story.. Whether it be entirely fictional, based on a true story or entirely real. Most people in the world wanted to put all their ideas into one certain diary, register or notebook. And I was no different.

I found a passion in writing from my grandparents. Both of them being novelists. They were well known in our country but never international. But it never stopped me from being entirely entranced by their amazing work.

My mother and father both separated ways when I was 7. I didn't stay with any of them because, none of them wanted me. I was lucky enough to have my grandparents with me through that tough time, because of that... I was entirely dependent and inspired by them

I first started a story when I was 12 but it didn't turn out to my liking. My grandmother kept trying to convince me that it was a nice start but I didn't think it was up to par. I stopped writing entirely afterwards..

When I turned 15 I started another story.. inspired by all the stories around me, not just my Grandparents' but others' on the internet. I titled it..

"Lovely Elegance"

I came up with the concept while reading another historical otome romance and I actually liked the way I was writing it, so I stuck with it.

I'm gonna define the story in a very short and undetailed way so not everything will be included

It started off with our wonderful female lead, Melie. She was a commoner working in a tavern with her brother, she was often given unfair treatment and mockery around the area. A well known prince from the kingdom of Lebira once visted the town to deepen the bond of the kingdom and his by visiting every town. He fell in love they got together yada yada.

I thought that this story was going basic so I added a what they call "Villainess and Villian". I had to give myself a pat on the back because I hated both of them with all my heart.

The Villainess, Tiralia, a noblewoman was jealous of Melie because of how she charmed the Prince as a mere commoner. and The Villain, Sermon, The son of the Duke was jealous of Rowen because of how much he was treasured in the kingdom, ignoring Sermon's effort completely, Also he fell in love with Melie so it made him even more jealous realizing she was with Rowen.

Both of them wanted them to crumble apart so they could be with them instead. In order to not raise suspicion. Both of them get married and act like a happy couple, leading them to look like they only had eyes for each other when they barely ever interacted.

During the last chapters of the story, Tiralia and Sermon got into a quarrel and Sermon decides to try and kill Rowen, the one Tiralia loves. And Tiralia tries to kill Melie, the one that Sermon loves, Despite it not being a part of their agreement

Both of them get caught and Sermon pins all the blame to Tiralia and gets her executed by the King's orders. Later on, Sermon was executed as well after evidence of his crime was also found. And Melie and Rowen lived happily ever after.

I in present time am now 19. I finished publishing Lovely Elegance on a indie, sketchy novel website. I didn't think much of what the websites background might be but it allowed me to publish my work easily.

I went downstairs and grabbed a drink before heading back upstairs, brainstorming for any new ideas I might have but I was just too exhausted to think of anything.

I laid down, my ideas notebook in hand. I looked up at the celling, thinking about my novel series and how I may have neglected my studies and future for it...I failed my entrance exam twice before I even got into university. It was all so distressing for me. Sometimes I wish I could just escape from this world...

With those thoughts clouding my head, I drifted off to sleep, exhaustion taking over my body.

After what felt like an eternity, I felt myself regaining consciousness. Sunlight hitting my face through the curtains, I stretched before I realized...I don't have windows on the side of my bed...

I blinked again and looked around, I was in a completely different place. It was a room as big as our entire apartment. Golden embellishments all over the walls... Grand pieces of art, king-sized bed and a massive vanity.

I looked down to see my ideas notebook still in my hand but when I looked closely, my skin tone was entirely different! I wasn't that pale... I started feeling sick to my stomach but I got up and walked to the vanity, as soon as I looked in the mirror. I was certain that this was all a dream.

I had dark, long purple hair, red eyes, pale skin and piercing eyes...I knew what this was...It was my vision for Tiralia.

I stepped back in horror, trying to process what was going on... It had to be a dream.

To figure out if it was or not I grabbed the pen inside my notebook and stabbed my wrist, a stupid idea indeed because not only did it hurt..it hurt really bad. I winced in pain, my pen dropping to the floor as I clutched my wrist in pain. The noise seemed to alert a few people and one of them was Rowen...

"What was that noise? What did you do this time?" He said in a slightly irritated tone

I laughed nervously "Oh uhm, It was just an accident..." I said brushing it off. God, I was so unlike Tiralia.

I tried to keep my composure at this new found realization. I knew that the first order of business was being nice to all the characters or if that didn't work out, I'll just have to escape from the kingdom into a far away town

Tiralia: "Oh, you're too kind, Rowen! I'm fine!.."

I said in a loud and cheerful voice that made him raise an eyebrow

Rowen: Hmm.. Alright then, I'll send over a maid to patch you up. Don't pull anything funny.."

He said in a strict yet skeptical tone before leaving.

I sat back down on the bed, my head reeling with paranoid thoughts. This was so bad. How did I even end up here? Why did my diary transmit with me? And what should I do?

I quickly looked around and spotted a calender. The date was 17th of June 613...Four days before the incident that would change the way the people saw Tiralia completely...
