Matthias was now incredibly relieved to have escaped Fransisca's trap. However, he was still a little uncomfortable around his wife, still traumatized by the sight of the snake woman touching him. He felt the urge to immediately wash the remaining stains from his ear. His body still shuddered at the thought of the snake woman pressing her lips to his ear. If his wife found out, he was sure her blood pressure would skyrocket.
Meanwhile, Ansel was incredibly relieved that he had successfully protected the couple from major trouble. If he had made the wrong decision, he would have been the main culprit in destroying his best friend's marriage.
