Actually they had planned to use the holiday for a date outside, but now they could only date indoors. However, this was better than living apart. Now, all they did was bake brownies together in the kitchen, as they'd been craving them lately. While mixing the batter, Matthias still managed to playfully poke his wife's tiny face with his ten flour-covered fingers.
"Matty, do you want my face to be covered in pimples because you're so nosy?" Victoria protested, pursing her lips.
Matthias stared at the ceiling with an innocent expression. "I didn't do it on purpose, though. My hand just got naughty."
"Your hands were just following your mischievous desires." Victoria smiled mischievously, poking her husband's handsome face repeatedly with her hands covered in cookie dough. "This is what you did to my face!"
"So you're just as mischievous as I am." Matthias wanted to poke his wife's tiny face, but she quickly shied away. "Tory, come here!"
