If Victoria were considering her decision for tomorrow, she certainly couldn't go against Matthias's wishes. If Matthias wanted to divorce her, there was nothing she could do. The decision was in his hands, having proposed this crazy idea. He hadn't agreed to the divorce from the start.
"Ansel, I just want Matthias to be happy. If I force him to stay in our relationship, will he be able to live happily ever after?"
"Of course he would be happy if you were still living as a married couple," Ansel replied casually.
"But Matthias remains stubborn and wants to divorce me to protect me." Victoria lowered her head in resignation, massaging her forehead. "I'm still wondering what problems he's facing now that he's so determined to divorce me?"
"So, do you still want to divorce him tomorrow? Or do you want to ruin the trial?"
"I'll assess the situation tomorrow. If I can persuade Matthias to think this through more carefully, that would be even better."
