Chapter 4 - CHAPTER FOUR

Chris, you have been posted to Greater Heights College that is one of the best secondary schools in this state. Mr. Sola Said as he came in from the office of the Local Inspector of Education.

"Wow! I'm so happy. Chris exclaimed

Well, the only thing I want to tell you is that you know that school is a boarding school, beware of the friends. Keep because an adage says "Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are". Moreover, evil communications also corrupts good manners. So, in your best interest, do what will make your parents proud and let me tell you something Mrs Sola said as she sat down.

Ouch! Chris exclaimed as he held onto his buttocks.

What is it? Mrs. Sola asked

I want to go and defecate. Chris answered

Okay, go. His mother said.

Chris ran all the way to the toilet, but as he was about to get to the toilet, he slipped and fell, thereby breaking his arm.

His parents took him to the hospital and he was admitted to the hospital. A few days later, he was to be discharged though, his arm has not totally healed but it is better.

Had I known I wouldn't have gone to defecate. Chris regretted.

Why? His parents asked

When Daddy came back home, and told me of the school I was posted to, and Mummy began to advise me, then Mummy sat down as she was advising me, that was when I knew from past experience that the advice would take a long time because Mummy loves talking, so in order to spare myself lengthy seminars, I decided to fake a lie that I went to defecate, that was when I fell in the toilet.

Both of his parents burst into a laugh that seems everlasting to Chris.

This is not funny, Chris thought.

Well, that is your reward for trying not to listen to advice. His mother said giggling.

(THE DAY OF RESUMPTION)

Chris was dressed in white shirt and blue knickers and a red top armed with two travelling bags containing his load.

Make sure you don't forget all the advice I have given to you, don't let friends influence you. My son, hearken not to the voice of evil friends, and I pray that the Lord will be with you throughout your stay in Greater Heights. In Jesus name
