This seemed to peak many of the peoples interest as they straightened their backs and started to take this more seriously.

The city officials looked at each other, forming their own conclusions about the matter for themselves.
"So how many women are they willing to mate with" one of them asked.
"As many as needed" she responded.
This seemed to greatly startle and whip up the council in activity. They have come across a situation like this before, but it was very rare. If they play their cards right they may be able to postpone the incest problem for decades to come.
"There is a big problem to this though" one man said as it brought over everyone's attention. "We don't know if this couple will survive the trial to begin with. We could be getting our hopes up only for them to die in the coming trials. Either we go with a two part deal were we have him mate before and after or we just wait until the trial is over is what we should be thinking about now." One of the officials said.
That seemed to spark further debate about the topic as the council for the city eventually reached a conclusion with a vote.
"All in favor for the two part deal raise your hand".
less than half of the people raised their hands.
"All in favor for waiting until the trial ends raise your hand".
More than half of the people raised their hand.
"The decision is final then, we will wait until the trial is over before we accept their proposition" and with that the meeting was adjourned.
