Arthit

Moon
(glares at him)
Tay
Stop fighting, or the principal will catch you.
Moon
(bumps Tay's shoulder and goes his way)
Arthit
What rude behavior he has.
INT. In the volleyball court
Moon
You think you're so great, huh? What will you do if I beat you up?
Arthit
Why is a dog barking at me?
Krit
Did you call Moon a dog? How dare you!!
(hits him in the face)
Sarawut
Guys, look at his uniform! Have you been wearing that since Grade 7? What, your family is too poor to buy new clothes?"
Moon
(beats him up)
INT. At School
(Arthit comes to the classroom with a broken leg and bruises all over his face)
Tay
What happened to you? Why do you have bruises all over your face? Are you ok?
(concerned for him)
Arthit
Moon and his gang beat me up on the volleyball court, and now I am ok, but my body hurts so badly.
Tay
Don't worry..Let's just wait, and when the time's right, he'll wish he never messed with you.
INT. At School- Later That Day on the volleyball court
(Everyone takes a ball and starts practicing in pairs, and Tay gets paired with Moon, but Moon keeps on throwing the ball somewhere else)
Tay
What is wrong with you? Why do you keep on throwing the ball somewhere else?
Moon
Me? It is because you are not playing great. Are you even a real guy? You play volleyball like a girl!
Tay
(Didn't say anything)
(Why is he doing this? Is he trying to pick a fight?)
Moon
Are you deaf now?
(The coach calls everyone for the match)
Mek
Now we are going to play a match, and I want everyone to focus on it because this is the last game before the championship. Did you hear me?
(Yes,coach)
The game kicks off with a sharp whistle, and the ball is passed swiftly between both teams, each player's every move sharp and calculated. Tension fills the air as the crowd holds their breath, the ball flying across the court, each pass bringing the teams closer to the first breakthrough.
(Moon looks at Tay)
Moon
(I couldn't tear my eyes away—every move he made pulled me in, my heart racing. The game faded into the background; all that mattered was him. Is this what they call love at first sight?)
Mek
Everyone times up. Golf and Krit watch the ball carefully, and Moon look at the ball not Tay.
(everyone chuckles)
Moon
(Whispers near the water stand…)
"Did you hear the rumor? They say he killed his best friend when he was young."
(Moon stiffens. His water bottle drops. The sound drowns out as a memory floods in.)
— FLASHBACK —
The streets were wet from rain. Moon and his best friend were laughing, chasing each other across the crosswalk.
Golf
(grinning)
"Bet you can't catch me!"
Moon laughed and ran after him —
Then the headlights.
The screech of tires.
The impact.
Moon (in the past)
"NO!!"
His friend lay motionless on the road, eyes barely open.
Golf (weakly)
"It's not your fault…"
And then… silence.
— END FLASHBACK —
(Back in the present. Moon stands frozen, staring at the floor, heart pounding.)
MOON (thinking)
"I couldn't save him. And now everyone looks at me like I wanted it to happen."
Sarawut & Krit
(elbows him)
Moon, we won! Yayy!! Let's go and eat some Khao Rad Gaeng and Guay Tiew Haeng.
("Later, after the match…"
"Back in the classroom, tension still hung in the air…")
INT. Tay's Home-
(Later that night, at Tay's house
Tay stepped inside, still thinking about Moon's strange behavior during practice. But the moment he walked in, his heart stopped. His dad was lying on the floor—unconscious.)
Tay
(shouting)
Dad?! Dad! What happened?!
