Pallet Town:
The trainer and his three pokemon had just returned from their training journey and are now running straight home. Having not seeing or talking to anyone was lonely for Ash, so now was his chance to talk to someone for the first time in 3 years. "Rematch." Ash yelled as him and his three pokemon raced home as quickly as possible.
"You wont beat me like last time." Ash yelled as he ran faster and got ahead of the three pokemon. After a few minutes, the three finally reached home as Ash came in first, while Greninja got second, Lucario got third and Pikachu got last. "YESSSSSSSSS." Ash screamed at the top of his lungs. This made Greninja, Lucario and Pikachu wince by the loudness of their trainers voice.
"No fair." Pikachu said with electricity coming out of his cheeks. "Well lets head inside guys." Ash said as all three went in the house. Once inside, Ash gets greeted by his mom, who crushed him with her death hug again.
"Where have you been?" Delia cried out. Ash quickly gets out of his mothers death hug and explains everything. "Well mom, me, Pikachu, Greninja and Lucario went to train at Mt.Silver in the Johto region." Ash said. "Really Ash?" Delia said.
Mt. Silver reportedly had many strong trainers go there but it was never confirmed due to how cold it was and how many trainers had no desire to go. "Yes mom, we really did go to Mt.Silver." Ash said before his stomach began to rumble.
Hearing this made everyone laugh. "Okay honey. You go clean yourself up while I make you lunch." Delia said kindly. Ash nodded gratefully and went into his room with his pokemon. "What is this?" Ash asked as he saw an envelope on his desk. Ash then begins to open the envelope to see what is inside.
Inside the envelope was a written letter from Mr. Goodshow himself.
"Dear Ash, If you are alive and receive this invitation the me and the World Pokemon League wants you to attend this upcoming tournament held in a months time. In this tournament will be the top 100 trainers from all around the world. This includes champions, elite four members, gym leaders, and other powerful trainers. So on behalf of myself and the federation, we would like you to enter the tournament. From Mr. Goodshow".
Seeing what was written inside made Ash jump up and cheer in joy. "Yahoo Yahoo. I get to enter the greatest league in history." Ash cheered over and over again. This made Pikachu, Greninja and Lucario excited to enter a pokemon league. "Hey guys, were going to enter a league with the strongest trainers from around the world. Are you guys ready?" Ash asked in excitement.
Greninja and Pikachu then cheered as well as they were excited to enter the league as well. "Yeah thats the spirit. But we do need to have four other pokemon with us as well. I'll go ask Professor Oak to lend me some of my pokemon for the league." Ash said. This made Greninja, Pikachu and Lucario cheer even more.
"But let me take a shower first." Ash said as he went into his bathroom to take a shower.
Lunch:
After Ash finished taking a shower anf getting ready, he and his pokemon went into the kitchen for lunch. "Hey mom." Ash said as he came out of his room and sat down in the kitchen. "Hello honey, I made sandwiches today." Delia said as she put the last sandwich onto the plate and carried it to the kitchen table with two plates waiting.
"Wow, thanks mom. These sandwiches look so yummy." Ash said as he quickly dug in. "Thank you honey. So tell me about what you did on your journey?" Delia said as she sat down and ate herself.
"Well thats a long story." Ash said as he explained what he did and how he and his pokemon had improved and gotten stronger over the years. To say Delia was shocked and bewildered would be an understatement.
The stuff her son had told her could only be described as legendary. "So that was what I did mom. Sorry to make you worry and not call you over the years. Mt.Silver had no service." Ash said as he continued to eat.
After getting out of her stupor, Delia had gotten up and hugged her son to death once more. "Im so glad you are safe." Delia cried out as she hugged him tightly. Ash then tries to get his mom off but this quickly ends in failure as she hugs him even tighter. Seeing this made all the pokemon laugh at Ash's misery.
"I get it mom. You miss me and I miss you to." Ash muttered out. "No. You dont get it Ash. The world thinks you are dead and many trainers all around the world have went around trying to look for you. Even I began to lose hope when you went missing." Delia cried.
Hearing this shocked Ash and his pokemon as they never thought that them going to Mt. Silver would cause a huge problem. "Really mom. So thats why Mr. Goodshow put "if you are alive". It all makes sense now." Ash said as he figured out why Mr. Goodshow had put that on.
"Well Im really sorry mom for making you worry. With this next tournament, I can hopefully prove to everyone that I am alive." Ash said as he hugged her back.
"Thank you son." Delia said. "Well no problem mom. But you said trainers all over the world looked for me. Do you know who?" Ash asked. Delia then stopped hugging her son to explain who went looking for him.
"Well Ash, all the champions, your friends, professors, gym leaders, elite four members and other trainers looked for you. But two trainers always showed up to our house and they were just here." Delia said.
"Who mom?" Ash asked as he was interested in who searched for him the most and kept showing up to his house. "Well, I believe there names were Cynthia and the move star Diantha." Delia said as she remembered the two ladies who would always show up for Ash.
"W-What." Ash said confused as he never expected Cynthia and Diantha would search for him that much. "Yep honey. Those two would always show up to our house like once a month and try and find out where you were. They even slept in your room once and they were just here." Delia said.
"Really mom. They looked that hard for me and they were just here?" Ash asked still in shock. Delia simply nodded and the two and their pokemon began to eat once more. "Yes Ash. Those two and many others have looked all over for you nonstop. And now that I think about it. Would you like me to call the league and tell them your alive and coming?" Delia asked. Ash then stops eating and thinks. "No need mom. I'll surprise everyone and make sure the world knows how strong I have gotten." Ash said in a determined tone. Delia than chuckles at her son and smiles. "Well to do that you need to eat." Delia scolded and the two ate once more.
Night time:
When Ash finished his lunch, he began to help his mom around the house before dinner and going to bed. "What a day guys." Ash said and his three pokemon nodded. "I say we go to Professor Oak's lab and get three of our friends to enter the tournament." Ash said. Pikachu, Greninja and Lucario then made sounds of agreement before going to sleep. "But until then, lets get lots of rest." Ash said before everyone went to sleep.
Tomorrow morning: Ash and his pokemon have awoken and quickly headed out towards Professor Oak's lab. "Lets go guys." Ash yelled as the three went to Professor Oak's lab.
Professor Oaks Laboratory:
"Morning Tracey." Professor Oak said as he walked into his lab to see his assistant working. "Good morning to you to Professor." Tracey said before going back to work. "So what are you working on?" Professor Oak asked. He then saw on the computers that it was trying to trace and locate a location. He then put two and two together to find out Tracey is looking for Ash.
Professor Oak then sighs as this was nothing new to him. Over the past three years, Tracey had been trying his best to find and locate Ash. Over the years many trainers had shown up to help with the investigation and overall it was a real headache for the man. Although he did worry for Ash, he knew deep down that Ash was alive and well so he never needed to worry much. But even if he believed that Ash was well doesnt mean everyone else did. So over the three years he just ket things be and hoped that ash would return one day.
"Listen Tracey. I know your worried about Ash but leave it to the police and the pokemon league to find him." Professor Oak said as he took a seat beside Tracey. "Im sorry professor, but I wont stop trying until I find him." Tracey said in a determined tone as he continued with his research. "I know, but you have to realize that your only hurting yourself by doing this. We both know Ash very well dont we? Do you really think he isnt okay?" Professor Oak asked.
"I dont know professor. Although Ash may be strong, he's still reckless and could end up getting himself hurt. That is why I must find him as quickly as I can." Tracey said before continuing on with his work. Professor Oak was about to continue talking until he heard someone knocking on his door. "Who could that be?" Professor Oak wondered as he got up to open the door.
Professor Oak then opens the door and it then reveals everyones favorite trainer: Ash Ketchum. "ASH." Professor Oak yelled before he hugged Ash tightly. "Hey there Professor Oak." Ash said as he hugged the professor back. Tracey hearing Professor Oak's yell came to the front of the door to see the commotion. Seeing who Professor Oak was hugging had shocked Tracey to no end as he saw the boy he was looking for.
"ASSSSSHHHHHHH." Tracey yelled before pushing Professor Oak off of Ash and checking to see if Ash was real. "Let see here. Pikachu on shoulder, Spiky black hair and short. Your definitely Ash." Tracey yelled before taking in Ash and brotherly hug. "Missed you to Tracey." Ash said as he hugged Tracey back.
"You have no idea for how hard I have looked for you Ash." Tracey cried as he kept on hugging Ash. "Well thanks for searching for me Tracey. I heard that many people and pokemon went out to look for me. Im sorry to have made you all so worried." Ash said as he tried to calm down his friend.
"Well apologies accepted Ash." Tracey quickly said before releasing Ash. "Although, Im glad to see you alive and well Ash, I just have to wonder, why are you here?" Tracey asked. "I would also like to know that to Ash." Professor Oak said. Ash then straightened himself and prepared to explain himself.
"Well I got invited for the upcoming Pokemon league and to enter I need a full team of six. But right now I only have three so I was wondering if I could use my pokemon for the league." Ash said. Hearing Ash's explanation made both people smile as they heard Ash getting invited for the tournament. "REALLY ASH. THAT IS AMAZING FOR YOU TO GET INVITED TO THE BIGGEST POKEMON LEAGUE IN THE WORLD." Both Professor Oak and Tracey said in unison.
"I know right. Now I am going to show the world that I am the strongest and become a Pokemon master." Ash said. Hearing this made everyone cheer and jump up in joy. After a few more minutes of celebrating and congratulating Ash, everyone then headed out into the field.
Ash's Pokemon:
Currently in the field resided many Pokemon of all kinds. From ones from Kanto to ones in Kalos, there were many different Pokemon. As everyone was having the time of their lives, it all stopped when they heard a familiar voice. "HELLO EVERYONE. IM BACK." Ash yelled as he ran to all of his Pokemon. Hearing Ash's voice made all the pokemon in the field, run at him at full speed.
"IM HERE." Ash yelled until he saw how fast his pokemon were running towards him. "HEY WAIT." Ash yelled, but it was too late as all of his pokemon could not stop and ended up crashing into him to send him flying into the air. "AHHHHHHHHHH." Ash yelled as he got sent flying into the air.
"ASHHHHHHHHHHH." Yelled Professor Oak and Tracey. "Pika Pika." Pikachu sighed as he saw Ash get sent flying. "Does this always happen?" Lucario asked as he was the newest member to Ash's team. "Yep." Pikachu and Greninja groaned.
After a few hours of Ash cleaning himself up, Ash then went back to the lab to greet all of his pokemon. He first started with his pokemon from the Kanto region, then Johto, then Hoenn, then Sinnoh, then Unova and finally Kalos. "I have missed you all." Ash said as he was petting his Bulbasaur. "Oh, I almost forgot." Ash said before running towards Lucario.
"I want you all to meet out new friend Lucario." Ash said. Lucario then introduced himself and all of Ash's pokemon greeted him back. "Wow Ash, you have a Lucario." Tracey said as he began to inspect Lucario. "I sure do Tracey." Ash said back.
Professor Oak then comes up to Ash to ask a question. "Say Ash, how did you get Lucario?" Professor Oak asked. "Well that is a long story." Ash said as he remembered how he got Lucario.
Flashback:
Ash, Pikachu, and Greninja were currently on their way to Mt.Sliver but were stopped by 10 pokemon trainers. "Stop right there and hand over your pokemon." One of them said. "Yeah, do so now and you wont get hurt." Another said. "If you guys want to battle then come at me." Ash said as he readied his two pokemon. "Fine then." One of the pokemon trainers said as everyone pulled out there pokeballs.
Once thrown all the pokemon shown were 5 houndooms and 5 mightyena. "Attack." All the trainers said as all the pokemon charged at Ash and his pokemon. "Lets end this in one strike. Pikachu use Thunderbolt. Greninja use Water Shuriken." Ash commanded as his two pokemon threw out their moves at the ten pokemon and quickly knocked them out and sent them flying towards their trainers. "HOUNDOOM, MIGHTYENA." All the trainers yelled as they saw their pokemon get knocked out.
"We'll make you pay for this." One trainer said. "You will regret messing with us." Another said as they all charged at Ash. But before they could reach him, they quickly got hit with a powerful thunderbolt to send them flying.
"Well that was fun." Ash said before he walked ahead with his pokemon. But before As could go any further, he was stopped by a riolu who saw the battle. "Riolu, Riolu.(Battle me)" The riolu said. "Its a riolu." Ash said as he saw the riolu. "So you wanna battle huh?" Ash said as he looked at Pikachu to battle riolu. "Ri." Riolu simply said before getting into a battle stance.
"Then lets go." Ash said. "Pikachu use quick attack." Ash ordered as pikachu charged at riolu and collided with him to cause massive amounts of damage. "Ri." Riolu grunted as he got sent flying by Pikachu. "Nice job Pikachu." Ash said.
Riolu then gets up to strike Pikachu. Riolu uses quick attack as well but misses as Pikachu jumps up into the air. "Alright Pikachu, use Iron tail." Ash ordered as Pikachu came down and hit Riolu with and Iron tail and slamming him into the ground.
After that, Riolu had gotten up time and time again as he never gave up against Pikachu no matter how beaten he was. But eventually, he succumb to his injuries and passed out. Ash then took him in and healed him up.
Riolu after being healed slowly wakes up and wonders where he is. To his left was a fire illuminating everything around him. "Your finally awake huh." Ash said as Riolu quickly turned to his right to see Ash, Pkachu and Greninja. Riolu then quickly gets up to fight Pikachu again. "Ri-Riolu." Riolu said as he got into a fighting stance.
"Easy there Riolu. Your not fully healed yet." Ash said in a worried tone. Riolu ignores Ash's worrying and persists on a battle. "Although we cant battle yet Riolu, if you come with us then you can fight all the battles you want." Ash said. Pikachu and Greninja then agreed. Riolu then ponders at the new chance he has. If he follows Ash, he can fight Pikachu and other powerful Pokemon. And since Riolu has no where to go, going with Ash was an easy yes.
"Riolu(I accept)." Riolu said as he shook Ash's hand. "Really, thats great. I promise your riolu that we will have lots of fun together." Ash said as he and his pokemon cheered. Riolu then nods as the 4 rest up and head out.
After that, Ash officially caught Riolu and as time went on, Riolu evolved into Lucario as they battled and trained together.
Flash back End:
"And thats how it happened." Ash said as he finished his story. "Incredible Ash. You and your pokemon have truly came a long way." Tracey said as he clapped his hands. "Agreed. You and Lucario's journey was astounding to hear." Professor Oak said as he clapped his hands as well.
"Thank you guys. But now I really need something from you guys." Ash said. "Well what do you need Ash?" Professor Oak asked. "Well for this upcoming tournament, I need a full team of 6 but right now I only have 3. So can I have 3 of my pokemon to join me?" Ash asked.
"Well of course Ash. Lets go right away." Professor Oak said. Ash, his pokemon and the two professors came out and greeted all of Pokemon. Ash had quickly explained what was going on. And after the explanation all of his pokemon all erupted into cheers and did a tournament for who would win. In the end it was decided that Charizard, Sceptile and Snorlax would be on Ash's team with Infernape and Charizard switching turns in the tournament.
"Now that we have finished, lets go to the tournament." Ash said as he, Pikachu, Greninja, Charizard, Sceptile, and Snorlax headed off for the tournament.
