"If I can't pierce your body, then I'll just shatter it instead!"
The threads beneath his feet surged like ocean waves, roaring forward with devastating force.
Staring at the oncoming white sea of threads, Doflamingo exhaled heavily.
"This time... it should be enough."
He stopped in place, adjusting his breath, watching as a massive web of thread blanketed the battlefield. He honestly couldn't imagine how anyone could survive this kind of barrage.
"You're not even close!"
Suddenly, a confident voice rang out from beneath the tidal wave of threads.
And if you listened closely… was he actually laughing?
"What? He's still alive?!"
Doflamingo's eyes widened in disbelief as he tore off his sunglasses and stared at the impossible scene before him.
The sea of threads trembled violently, like a tsunami erupting from within. Then flames began devouring the silk-like web, ripping a giant hole straight through the center. And from within that hellish inferno, a figure stepped out.
It was him, Vincent Fox.
He tore away the remaining threads on his body and rolled his shoulders. "That was annoying... but this is the end for you."
Vincent began channeling his power again. The threads around him were swept into the air by the pressure alone.
Serious Punch.
He threw out another Serious Punch. The force of it wrapped in roaring flames, engulfing the sky in a crimson blaze.
The white sea of threads evaporated in an instant, burned into ashes, leaving only a foul stench of scorched keratin.
"You... what kind of monster are you?!"
Doflamingo roared in disbelief and activated his ability. Everything around him began transforming into threads once again.
But Vincent didn't give him the chance. He launched forward with explosive speed.
"Sixteen Divine Holy Bullets. God Thread Execution!"
In a panic, Doflamingo unleashed his ultimate technique sixteen threads, each reinforced with Armament Haki, twisted into high-density projectiles, all aimed at Vincent in the sky.
Originally, this move was reserved for the strongest of the Whitebeard Pirates.
But Vincent was far more terrifying. He broke through every one of Doflamingo's attacks with ease. He was like a god of war or to his enemies, a demon.
The sixteen threads launched at once.
"Go to hell!"
But Vincent didn't flinch. He coldly shouted and hurled the Seastone-tipped jitte from his back.
"Damn it! I forgot about that!"
The jitte cut through each and every thread like a spear through paper, flying straight toward Doflamingo.
With no threads left underfoot, he couldn't form a net to defend himself.
"Shit!"
Doflamingo twisted mid-air and barely dodged it. But his finishing move lost its trajectory and missed Vincent entirely.
"It's over. I've wasted enough time on you."
Vincent closed the distance with terrifying speed, slamming his fist into Doflamingo's chest.
Even with his Observation Haki, Doflamingo couldn't keep up. Vincent's flurry of punches was like a storm, hammering into him with no mercy.
Armament Haki!
Doflamingo's body turned black, trying to brace himself against the attack.
Boom!
He was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing hard into the ground.
"And I'm not done yet!"
Vincent chased after him, raining punches down like a torrential downpour.
Even with Haki, Doflamingo couldn't withstand the relentless assault. His defenses began crumbling.
Finally
Bang!
Doflamingo's body gave out. His Armament Haki shattered under the pressure, and his body exploded into a bloody mess under Vincent's final blow.
"Young master!!"
From the battlefield, Doflamingo's subordinates screamed in anguish.
To others, he might have been a cruel warlord or a tyrannical king. But to his followers, he was a symbol of purpose. His death ignited a blaze of fury in their hearts.
"You bastard! I'll kill you!"
"Kill him! Avenge the young master!"
"I'd rather die than run!"
"Take this bastard down with us!"
Several of Doflamingo's officers brandished their blades and charged toward Vincent, eyes red with rage.
"Did I say you could pass?"
A pirate stepped in front of them, smoking a cigar and gripping a flaming sword. His Mediterranean features and the scar across his cheek made him instantly recognizable.
It was Fossa, the fifteenth division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates.
"Get out of the way, or you'll die with him!"
"Die with him?"
Fossa scoffed, taking a long drag from his cigar. "Try me."
With that, he raised his burning sword and clashed with the officers. Within moments, he had the upper hand.
"Thanks, Captain Fossa."
Vincent nodded. He trusted Fossa to handle things here.
"You brat. No need to be polite."
Fossa smirked mid-fight and threw him a thumbs-up.
Vincent turned away. Even though he had taken down a Warlord and an Admiral, the Marines still had plenty of strength left.
And with less than two hours remaining on the mission timer, he had to seal this victory for the pirates before time ran out if he wanted to earn the highest possible reward.
"Now then... it's your turn."
He hoisted the Seastone jitte onto his back and looked toward the rear lines of the Marine forces.
Sakazuki, the Fleet Admiral known as Akainu, was still sitting casually, legs crossed, calm as ever.
In the original storyline, it was Akainu who crushed the pirates' hopes. He mortally wounded Whitebeard and killed Ace, turning their so-called rescue mission into a tragic farce.
"Wait… what's falling from the sky?!"
Someone finally noticed a few black dots growing larger in the sky.
"Ace!!!"
Vincent turned toward the voice and smiled.
"The protagonist has arrived."
Boom!
With a massive splash, a pirate ship crashed down from the heavens, landing right next to the battlefield.
At the Marines' rear lines
"Garp! This is your damn family again, isn't it?!"
"Luffy?!"
Garp clutched his head and shouted in frustration.
Why couldn't his family stop giving him heart attacks?
"Garp, is this your answer to my question?!"
Sengoku roared, practically foaming at the mouth.
Meanwhile, every eye on the battlefield turned toward the new arrivals.
Dracule Mihawk narrowed his eyes and muttered, "Monkey D. Luffy… the brat caught in the eye of the storm."
Boa Hancock cradled her cheek, eyes soft with relief. "Luffy, I'm so glad you're safe."
"Monkey D. Luffy must be eliminated too."
Akainu's calm expression darkened. But his gaze quickly shifted back to Vincent.
"Though right now… that guy is the real problem."
And on the execution platform, Ace who had been silent for so long snapped his eyes open.
He stared in disbelief at the man who had just shouted his name.
It was his little brother. The one person he never wanted to see in Marineford.
"Luffy!!!!!!!"
