"Vincent Fox!"
Standing across from Vincent, Lucia Blair looked at him calmly and said, "Call your teammates over. Let's not waste time. Let's settle this right here in mid-lane, once and for all!"
"If you win, we will cooperate and help you complete your Super God achievement. Then, we'll surrender."
"If you lose, just surrender right away."
Hearing Lucia's words, Vincent was a little stunned.
He didn't expect Lucia to propose such a decisive showdown right at the beginning of the match.
Deciding victory in a single fight? Now that's interesting…
Lucia smiled and added, "If you refuse, then we'll launch a direct rush to push your middle lane. At that point, you'll be forced to face five of us alone. You'll be at an even greater disadvantage."
Vincent immediately understood her meaning and nodded in agreement.
"Everyone, head to mid-lane!" Vincent spoke through the communicator.
Autumn Summer and the others were surprised when they heard this.
"Vincent, what's going on? Are they attacking mid-lane directly?" Zoe Harper asked.
Vincent didn't say much, simply replying, "Come here and you'll see. Hurry up."
Though puzzled, the others didn't ask further and quickly gathered at mid-lane.
Outside the battlefield.
The audience also noticed that something was off.
If EastGate University wanted to use a rush strategy, they would have gone for a surprise push right away.
So why were they just standing in mid-lane, not moving?
Moreover, the audience also saw that the Godslayer Academy players from the top and bottom lanes were also converging on mid-lane.
Something was clearly not right.
This definitely didn't look like a rush strategy.
"What are they doing? Why is everyone gathering in mid-lane?"
"Could it be… they're planning to settle the match in one decisive battle?"
"Actually… that's probably exactly what's going to happen!"
"Damn! This is going to be intense!"
"Awesome! Can't wait for them to start. Let's see who's stronger."
The crowd was buzzing with speculation.
There were quite a few sharp observers who quickly figured out the intentions of both teams.
"Looks like EastGate University wants to settle the entire match with one decisive team fight against Godslayer Academy right in mid-lane."
The commentator's voice rang out. "This battle might directly decide the final outcome of the entire tournament!"
"I've been commentating tournaments for over ten years, but I've never seen a showdown like this to decide the whole match."
Over at the Godslayer Academy instructors' section, the instructors and the Dean all looked visibly nervous.
"Never thought they'd choose to settle the match like this!" one teacher muttered.
The Dean looked at Terry Yan and asked, "Terry, tell me honestly. Can Vincent win this?"
Terry frowned and replied, "Dean, honestly, I don't know. But what I do know is that Vincent is definitely no ordinary kid. Whether we can win this match or not… it all depends on him."
Frankly, his words didn't really offer any reassurance.
At this point, anyone who wasn't blind could tell that the reason Godslayer Academy had made it this far was because of Vincent Fox.
Compared to the tense atmosphere on the Godslayer Academy side, the EastGate University instructors seemed much more relaxed.
All the teachers and school leaders had calm expressions.
"Lucia is still as impatient as ever," a female instructor chuckled. "She's actually using this method to decide the match."
"Actually, this is good. Winning decisively means no one can say anything afterward," EastGate's school leader smiled.
The other teachers all agreed.
Inside the arena.
While the instructors chatted, both teams had fully assembled, standing off against each other in mid-lane.
When Autumn Summer and the others saw EastGate's lineup, they were a little confused.
"Vincent, what are they doing?" Autumn asked quietly.
"They're waiting for us to team fight. They want to settle the match with one decisive battle," Vincent replied.
Autumn and the others were visibly shocked.
At that moment, Lucia Blair spoke again. "Everyone's here. Let's not waste time."
Vincent nodded and said to his teammates, "Let's move forward."
With that, Vincent took the lead and walked toward Lucia.
The others quickly followed.
Zoe Harper and Benjamin Tanner were clearly a bit nervous, their faces tense.
Even though Autumn Summer's expression was also serious, she wasn't overly nervous.
Because she believed in Vincent.
Watching Vincent and the others approach, Lucia Blair suddenly smiled.
"Not bad. You all have courage. Even if you lose, I'll still respect you as worthy opponents."
Zoe Harper, who was quick-tongued, immediately sneered. "You're talking as if you've already won. Make sure you keep your word if you lose."
One of the boys standing next to Lucia shouted, "Lucia, no need to waste time with them. Let's just start!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the boy charged directly toward Vincent and the others.
Lucia's smile faded.
She really didn't like people who acted without permission.
But now was clearly not the time to argue over this.
That would be dealt with later.
Right now, they had to win this team fight!
"Let's go!" Lucia called out, following the boy toward Vincent's team.
Seeing the enemy initiate, Vincent's side certainly wouldn't stand still.
Zoe Harper instinctively stepped to the front.
Her high durability naturally positioned her as the team's tank.
In previous matches, Zoe had always been the one leading the charge in every team fight.
What she didn't know was that among her teammates, there was someone who was even tankier than she was… several times over.
"Whoosh!"
The sound of something cutting through the air rang out.
It was Vincent making the first move, launching a fire punch.
The boy charging at the front didn't even flinch when he saw the fire punch coming. He braced himself and rushed straight into it.
Boom!
A thunderous explosion rocked the field, flames shooting sky-high.
In the next moment, a figure emerged from the firelight.
It was the same boy who had just tanked Vincent's fire punch.
What shocked Zoe Harper and the others was that the boy seemed completely unharmed, aside from his clothes and skin being a bit scorched.
They had all seen firsthand how devastating Vincent's fire punch was in previous matches.
Even the elites from War God Academy had been instantly obliterated by it.
But now… someone had actually withstood Vincent's fire punch head-on.
This was the first time in the entire tournament that anyone had survived Vincent's fire punch without taking serious damage.
