Ira hesitantly nod with a fake smile. He smiled at her and kissed her forehead. "Ah, I can't wait to have kids. I want a little princess in my hands soon."
She looked at him confused and asked "Aren't we doing the check up for a heir?"
He looked at her and caressed her cheeks "Of course. We are. But a girl can be a heir as well. Doesn't matter whether we will have a daughter or son, they will be our heir." He hugged her gently and caressed her hairs "We just want them to be healthy."
Ira smiled at her husband's words and hugged him tightly, thinking how sweet and mature he is.
Next day, Raksheet went to meet Ahil in his chamber to talk about the girl he likes.
"May I come in?" He asked, standing at the door.
Ahil, who was doing pushups as his daily excercise, looked up at him and quickly stood up. "Brother, please come in. What happened? What are you doing here?"
"I thought we need to talk." Raksheet replied as he walked inside the chamber and sat down on the chair beside tea table.
"About What?" Ahil went towards him and sat down beside him.
"What's her name?" He directly asked without wasting any time.
Ahil's eyes widened as he realised what Raksheet is talking about. "W-What?"
"What is her name?" Raksheet asked again and ate some sugar from the container.
Ahil bited his lower lip and ran his fingers in his hair. "A-Anaya. Anaya vansh kashyap."
"Age?"
"19"
"Family background?"
"Father, mother and a sister. Younger than her."
"Financial background?"
He hesitated slightly, knowing that the difference between their financial background is huge. "Her father is a transporter so...middle class." He looked at Raksheet with a little worried look "Does that matter? Like father married mother and she was also from a middle class family. I don't think anyone in our family care about her financial background."
Raksheet looked at him with neutral expressions "I just wanted to know. I don't care about her financial background. The thing I care about is...will you be able to face the problems and take care of her?" Raksheet asked seriously. He don't want his brother to go through heartbreak if he won't be able to face the problems and have to get separated from his love.
"I will!" Ahil replied immediately "I will take care of her and will face all the problems."
He looked down at his hands on table and said in low voice "I know you don't like Bayar and the people of Bayar. But she is innocent.
I know Bayar is raging war against us and it's making everyone hate Bayar even more. I hate Bayar as well but I love her. Anaya and her family is innocent. It's not their fault to be born there. I want to bring her to Jwalana. I don't want her to stay there anymore. There will be the war soon. I don't want her to suffer. Her father is our spy so we should bring them here."
Raksheet took a deep breath and smiled slightly "You have thought about it already. Good. But did you thought what Abel will do? He will tell everyone that you kidnapped people of his kingdom."
"They are not kids. They will speak the truth." Ahil replied confidently.
"What if they don't? What if they change their mind and side with Abel?" Raksheet questioned, making Ahil loose his confidence.
"They will not." He replied in low voice.
"What if they do?" Raksheet asked again to see what his brother will do in that situation and to tell him that this situation can appear as well.
Ahil looked at him with helpless eyes and said in low voice "I love her."
Seeing the pain in his eyes, Raksheet felt his heart ach. His smile disappeared.
"Please brother, help me." Ahil's painful voice was making Raksheet feel like he is hurting his brother. He should help his brother. He have Ahil's responsibility on his shoulder and he should take care of him. He gave him everything he wanted since childhood then how can he not give him something that means a lot for him, his love.
Raksheet pulled Ahil in a tight hug. He has never seen Ahil looking so helpless, even in the toughest situation.
"I will." He patted Ahil's back gently "Your brother is here to take care of you. Don't worry. We will bring her and her family here before war."
Ahil hugged him and buried his face in the crook of Raksheet's neck. "Thank you brother. I don't think I will be able to love someone else as much as I love her. She is a nice person."
Raksheet caressed his hairs and chuckled "You like her so it's obvious that she is a nice person."
Ahil nod with a wide smile.
Raksheet broke the hug and said "We should inform our parents that our prince has found his love and is ready for marriage."
Ahil chuckled and replied "What are you saying? Marriage? Not now. We have to face the war first. I will get married after war."
Raksheet looked at him confused and asked "Why? You can get married before war. We have time for war."
Ahil smiled sadly "I know we have time for war but.....if....if I didn't come back from war, I don't want her to become a widow. And I don't think I will be able to leave her after marriage."
Raksheet hits Ahil's head gently and scolded "Nonsense! We will win the war. We will come back from war. We have to, for our love and family."
"I know. But we can't say anything. What if we lose? Abel have more powerful and big army than us. May be the emperor will also support him secretly as he is getting high taxes and and hidden money from Abel. We don't know what will happen." He sighed deeply and looked away. "I don't want her to suffer and get called my widow. No one will marry her and she will mourn my death."
"Shut up!" Raksheet scolded "I know our chances of winning are less but we can't lose hope. We will fight and win."
Ahil smiled at his brother and nod "We will."
In Aaro
"Father, what if he start to join us everytime on dinning table? We won't be able to..." He looked around and said in low voice "We won't be able to poison him."
"I know." Dhishva replied "But I don't think he will be able to come to have breakfast with us." Dhishva looked at Veer with a serious look and said "We have to increase the dose of poison. He is already looking too sick. No one will be surprised if he dies after some weeks. If we continue to poison him in little amount, may be his body will start to suppress the poison because of that medicine Ira gave him.
