Chapter 75 - Viraaj's departure

Ira looked down in disappointment but she can understand Raksheet's intentions. He don't want his spy's life to be in danger.

"Ok." She said in low voice "I can understand."

Seeing Ira's disappointed expression, Raksheet side hugged her and said "It's not like that I don't trust you. It's just I can't afford to loose him."

Ira hugged him back and smiled slightly "I can understand. You can't reveal his identity. He must be very special and loyal."

"He is, very special and loyal. I need him in the future while ruling Jwalana." A unknown smile appeared on Raksheet's lips while talking about Vikram.

Ira's eyebrows raised in wonder that how special that spy is to Raksheet that he is smiling only after mentioning him.

"Is he more special than me?"

Raksheet laughed on Ira's jealous question "Of course not. You are more special than him. But he is important for Jwalana, we can't afford to loose him at any cost."

"Fine." She said and rested her head on Raksheet's chest.

He rested his head on hers and closed his eyes, hugging her tightly.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"For what?" He asked.

"For everything."

Next day, before Ira's family leave for Aaro, Vikram and Ankush started their journey towards Aaro.

'Hope to see you soon. Come back safe and don't put yourself in danger.' Were the words Raksheet said to Vikram before his departure and it was making Vikram smile unknowingly. The traitor is a royal family member, the crown prince and if he sensed their plan, he will not hesitate to make them disappear from this world and no one can question him.

"How long will it take to reach Aaro?" Ankush asked while riding his horse.

"At least 6 hours if we travel continuously on the horses without any break." Vikram replied. "But we have to stop before we reach Aaro border. We can't enter in Aaro on horses as we have to disguise as poor people." They have already changed their appearance as poor men who are in search of work in Aaro.

"Then what about our horses?" Ankush asked because he don't want to leave his dear horse 'Agastya' alone.

"There is someone who will bring our horses with him and will take care of them for us. He is also a part of this mission. He will be responsible for sending the message to Jwalana." Vikram explained.

"Who is he?"

"You will find out soon." Vikram replied with a slight smirk.

In Jwalana, carriages of chakravarthy family were ready for departure.

Ira was holding her grandfather's warm hand as if she don't want to let him go and she can stop him from leaving by holding his hand.

"Take care of yourself. I hope to see you soon." Viraaj said with a smile but Ira was not pleased with his words and it was seen on her face.

"What do you mean by 'hope to see you soon'? Of course we will meet soon." She said annoyingly.

Viraaj laughed on Ira's complaint and annoyed face. "Yes yes, right. We will meet soon." He then said something that shocked Ira and made her feel embarrassed "Don't forget my wish. I want to see my great grandkids soon."

Ira's face flushed red in embarrassment and she quickly looked arround, afraid that someone might hear them. But everyone was busy so no one payed attention.

"Grandfather! Don't say it out in public!" She said in a low voice.

Viraaj laughed "Fine fine, but don't forget it."

She just hummed in response, shy to answer and her eyes travelled towards her husband who was talking with her father. A sudden excitement filled in her heart and her cheeks reddened even more.

Viraaj looked at her with narrow eyes "You don't want to answer me but you yourself are excited about it."

Ira quickly shifted her gaze from her husband to her grandfather. She blinked several times "Grandfather! When you became so bold to talk like this?" She asked with a pout.

"I am always like this. I raised you so I also have to discuss these things with you." He replied like a experienced old man.

"I see." She replied, nodding her head mockingly.

"Father, carriage is ready. We should leave." In between their farewell moments, Dhishva came and asked Viraaj to get in the carriage.

Ira looked at her grandfather with sad eyes that he is leaving now and don't know when they will meet again.

"Yes, I am coming. Just a moment." Viraaj replied and gestured Dhishva to go first.

Dhishva felt annoyed that how much they want to talk more. He looked at Ira with side eyes from head to toe in annoyance and left from there.

Viraaj then looked at Ira. "You don't want me to go, right?"

She nod with puppy eyes, hoping may be there is a way she can stay with her grandfather.

Viraaj cupped her face with one hand "Then fulfill my wish and i will come to visit you again."

She smiled with sad eyes and nod, thinking that now she need a reason to meet her own grandfather. "Ok."

He removed his hand from her cheek "I should leave now. Take care of yourself." He kissed her forehead and hugged her one last time before stepping inside the carriage.

Ira then met her mother and hugged her briefly as her siblings were interrupting their farewell by telling their mother to enter in the carriage so that they can leave quickly.

"Take care." Daksha said with tearful eyes as if it is again a farewell with her daughter after she got married and leaving her alone.

"You too." Ira said with a smile and moist eyes.

As Dakha entered in the carriage, Dhishva went inside too and closed the door. Viraaj was still looking at Ira through the window with a smile.

She smiled back in response.

Doesn't matter how much Viraaj was smiling brightly, there was a sign of uneasiness and fear on his face. May be for his granddaughter, who is going to start her married life completely and have to face so many problems in the future. He just hope that he can stand by his granddaughter's side and protect her. He still feel that his granddaughter need him and no one can protect her like him. But his all doubts and fear fade away when he saw Raksheet standing beside her, his hand arround her shoulder as if he is ensuring Viraaj that he will always protect her and Viraaj don't have to worry about it at all.

Ira looked up at her husband's face and smiled. Raksheet looked at her and smiled back. She then again turned her gaze towards her grandfather and waved.

Viraaj waved back with a bright smile with moist eyes and the carriage started moving. As the carriage was moving forward, forming a distance between Viraaj and Ira, they felt like someone is separating them. Pulling them away from eachother and if they don't run to hold each other, they will never be able to meet again. But doesn't matter how painful it is, they can't hold eachother anymore. They have to let go and move forward.

Ira's heart was aching, don't know why but she wanted to run towards the carriage and stop it. She want to hug her grandfather and stop him from leaving. She felt like she will never be able to meet him again and that pain made her feel urge to cry and unknowingly, tear escaped from her eyes.

Raksheet, who was standing beside her, pulled her in his embrace to let her cry in his arms to cover her so that no one can see her crying.

She held his shirt tightly and tried to control her sobs. Raksheet held her gently and rubbed her back to calm her down. His other family members were standing there, feeling pity for Ira. She had a hard time taking care of her grandfather and it shows how much she care and love for him. And now he left. She will miss him a lot for sure.

"Are you ok?" Raksheet asked to Ira when they entered in their chamber and sat on the bed.

She took a deep breath, controlling her tears but again burst out crying.
