Chapter 57 - Dinner with emperor

"And don't cry over small things like this again."

She was speechless when she heard him. She tried her best to hide her tears but her husband already found out. She lowered her head in embarrassment and closed her eyes, gripping Raksheet's shirt tightly.

Raksheet chuckled on Ira's embarrassed behaviour and said "It's ok. You can rest your head on my chest and cry whenever you want. But don't cry over silly reasons." He hugged her tightly and sighed "Your husband is always yours. Doesn't matter how many girls chase me, i am always yours. My heart only belongs to my wife, Ira Raksheet kumar." He chuckled after saying Ira's full name. He noticed when Ira introduced herself infront of Seya by saying her full name to let her know that she is Raksheet's wife. And Seya should step back as she don't have any chance on him.

Ira giggled after hearing her husband saying her full name and understood that he noticed her jealousy before.

Raksheet broke the hug and cupped Ira's face with his both hands. "Let's go inside. The emperor said he want to have dinner with us. We shouldn't make him wait for us. You must be hungry too."

Ira nod with a pouty face, feeling empty in her stomach. "I am."

Raksheet smiled and kissed her forehead. He then held her hand and led inside the hall.

"Finally you two came." Emperor said and started complaining "Do you even know how hungry i am? Huh? I am waiting for you two and you are roaming around like love birds. I saw you two chatting and walking around with arm in arm. You don't care about me. You don't-" before emperor can complain more, empress slightly hit his arm.

"Stop it, your majesty."

Emperor quickly zipped his mouth and rubbed his arm that empress hit on.

"They are the centre of attention today. Everyone must have wanted to meet them, that's why they were busy. You are an emperor, can't you control your hunger for a while?"

"I can." The emperor replied, sulking like a kid.

"Good." Empress said and held emperor's arm. Her gaze then shifted on Ira and Raksheet standing quietly, watching them.

"Now you two are here so let's go and eat. I don't want my husband to starve anymore."

Raksheet and Ira smiled at emperor and empress's cute bonding and was about to go with them when Ira suddenly remembered...

"Wait!" Everyone stoped on their place and emperor asked

"Why? What happened? I can't wait anymore."

"Sorry to stop you, your majesty. But i just remembered that my grandfather told me he will have dinner with you. So i thought to inform him and bring him to dinning table." Ira said with a apologetic look.

The emperor stopped sulking and a smile appeared on his lips to see how thoughtful Ira is to care about her grandfather.

"No need. He is already waiting for us at dinning table with king Abhiveera." The emperor informed.

"Oh, ok. Let's go then." Ira replied.

The emperor nod and start walking towards dining table with empress.

"You care a lot about your grandfather." Raksheet said to Ira while walking behind emperor. "More than me?" He asked.

Ira smiled as she understood her husband is jealous "Yes, more than you." She wanted to provoke her husband's jealousy so that he can understand how she felt when he was with Seya.

"Hey, that's not fair. I am your husband, you should love me more than anyone else." Raksheet complained.

Ira giggled and replied "I love you, but he is my grandfather. He took care of me when no one wanted me. He loved me when no one did. I am here with you, just because he was with me. If he wasn't with me, i don't think i could have make it up to here." She looked at Raksheet in his eyes. "My love is the only thing i can give him. So, i should love him more than anything and anyone else."

Raksheet was staring at Ira in daze, thinking what good deeds he did to get such a wonderful wife. He smiled and pulled Ira close by wrapping his hand around her shoulder.

When they reached the dinning table, both families were already waiting for them. Kumar family is sitting at right side and chakravarthy family is on left side, while leaving four seats. Two at the end of the dinning table, for emperor and empress. And other two for Raksheet and Ira on the right side of the table.

They went towards their seats and sat down. Ahil was sitting next to Ira and veer and Veera were opposite to them.

"Sister, you are looking beautiful." Ahil whispered to Ira. They didn't met before so Ahil didn't got chance to praise his sister Ira.

"Thank you." Ira whispered back with a smile.

"You were looking so strong and amazing when you entered in hall, commander Ahil Kumar." Ira said.

Ahil scratched the back of his neck, feeling shy and smiled "Thank you sister."

Veer was watching Ira and Ahil quietly. Thinking how stupid Ahil is to get attached with someone ignorant like Ira.

"Look how she is smiling." Veera whispered to her brother Veer.

Veer just nod and continued staring at them.

"You know what? She stole our family wristlets." Veera said.

Veer quickly turned his head towards his sister with furrowed eyebrows. "What?"

Veera nod and continued "Yes. She said mother gave her those wristlets. And the more important things is, father don't have any objection. He said it's a reward for her for marrying prince Raksheet."

Veer again turned his head towards Ira and stared at the wristlets she was wearing. "Do you want it back?" He asked to Veera.

Veera shook her head and replied while taking a sip from the glass. "No. I don't. Father said he will buy me more new wristlets. I can buy as much i want."

Veer just nod in response. As long as his father don't have any problem with Ira having those wristlets, he don't mind.

The dinner started. Everyone was enjoying the food when Ahil again whispered to Ira.

"Sister, i met your brother, Veer. He is such a nice person. You are lucky to have him as your brother. He cares for you."

This time, Raksheet also heard Ahil. Ira and Raksheet looked at each other. Ahil don't know Veer's reality that's why he think Veer is a nice person. If he got to know that the person he is praising has mentally tortured his dear sister-in-law since childhood, he will sure smack his face cruelly until he bleed to death.

"Ahil, Eat your food quietly." Raksheet said to Ahil and continued eating.

Just like Raksheet, Ira also ignored it and continued eating her food. She glanced at Veer and he looked at her. Their eyes met and Veer gave a death glare to Ira.

She quickly looked down at her plate and ate her food quietly. She don't want to meet those disgust filled gaze of her brother. She don't want to create any scene today, on her husband's coronation day.

But what she don't know is, her husband already saw Veer glaring at her. Raksheet gripped the knife he was holding tightly. He wanted to pull out those eyes of Veer that dare to glare at his wife. But he have to bear it as Veer is his wife's brother. He can't hurt him or teach him a lesson without his wife's permission. And Ira will never give him that permission. She just want to stay away from her family except for her grandfather and mother. That's all she want and she know if she hurt her brother, her mother will be affected too. So she will just bear her brother's idiotic behaviour.

After having dinner, the emperor and other guests left. Only the chakravarthy family was left behind. As Viraaj had promised Ira that he will stay for long time, so he have to keep his promise. And because of his health, Dhishva will not leave him alone here. And because of Dhishva, Daksha also have to stay there because she don't want to leave her husband and Ira with each other. She is scared that her husband would say something to Ira that can affect her reputation in kumar family. And one more reason she want to stay there is, she want to be near Ira for sometime. She want to spend some time with her.

"Grandfather, you will stay for long time, right?" Ira asked to Viraaj with her hopeful eyes staring at him.

Viraaj nod and caressed Ira's head "Yes, I am staying for long time."

Ira smiled brightly to hear that her grandfather is keeping his promise.

"Not only his majesty but you all have to stay longer." Abhiveera said to all chakravarthy family members.
