Chapter 1 - Flat No. 404: Chaos Always Rings Twice

THE STORY:

It was a normal Monday morning in Flat No. 404. And by normal, we mean:

The toaster caught fire again.

Raj was flexing shirtless in front of the mirror yelling "Today is Chest Day!"

Kabir was still logged into his 9 AM Zoom meeting… from Friday.

Tushar, meanwhile, was busy writing poetry to his Tinder match of two days:

"Your eyes are like the traffic on the Western Express Highway—beautiful but forever stuck."

Scene 1: The "Healthy Lifestyle" MissionRaj decided the whole flat needed to become fit."We're doing a juice cleanse," he said, proudly holding up a blender filled with broccoli, banana, and Bournvita.

Kabir stared. "Are you making juice or a biological weapon?"

They drank it. They cried. They regretted all life choices.

Scene 2: The Wi-Fi WarKabir was coding for a deadline. Raj was watching fitness videos. Tushar was live-texting his crush about his "soft side."

The Wi-Fi died.

"RAAAJ! You downloaded 300 GB of protein shake reviews?!"

They ended up calling the internet company 7 times. The technician arrived at midnight, looked at them, and said, "Yeh flat pe toh negative vibes hai, bhai."

Scene 3: The Zoom Job InterviewKabir had a job interview. He wore a shirt, tie... and boxers. The classic remote work look.

Raj walked behind him during the call—flexing again. The interviewer stopped mid-sentence.

"Uh… is that man doing bicep curls with a gas cylinder?"

Kabir panicked and clicked "Leave Meeting." His laptop crashed. So did his dreams.

Scene 4: Love and Other MisclicksTushar was finally going to meet his Tinder date… online. He lit candles, wore cologne, and opened his laptop.

He accidentally joined his mother's kitty party Zoom instead.

"TUSHU BETA, WHO'S THAT GIRL? WHEN WILL YOU MARRY?"

His date unmatched him immediately.

Final Scene: The Pizza HeistThey ordered one pizza. The delivery guy rang the bell and left it at the door.

Five seconds later, it was gone.

They checked the CCTV.

It was the neighbor's dog—a golden retriever wearing sunglasses, who had developed a taste for cheese burst crusts.

Epilogue:Flat No. 404 is still standing.

Barely.

Raj is now a fitness influencer with 14 followers (mostly bots).

Kabir got a job because his interview video went viral.

Tushar writes poetry for his building's newsletter titled "Romance in the Time of Rejected OTPs."

And the dog still steals their food.
