Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 10

Being a man used to having everything dished up to him on a golden platter, and everything going just to suit his moods, J'onn smiled benevolently welcoming his beloved one back once more.

What did come to mind was that she had gone there to apologize and make amends to him. But the grin on J'onn's face slowly faded as she walked past his shoulder and proceeded to the table in front of him.

### Instruction:

J'onn watched as the pair exchanged hands, and uttered hardly a word, before taking a seat.

He did not understand why but he felt a gigantic lump in his chest, which can best be described as jealousy. He gripped his fist as a way of maintaining his temper as he watched the pair engage in talks.

Because he was a man who had grown used to having things his way, he did not know what to do. He thought about going there to cut short their conversation but again, he did not know how to go about doing it.

He did not know how long he had to wait but he glared at the two until the conclusion of their conversation.

Seeing Bonnie shoving everything she had into her bag so quickly, he realized that she was about to run away but he wasn't going to let her do that.

In a matter of seconds, he was already by her side, grabbing her arm.

I saw how she tensed in my arms as I hugged her. I was shocked with a jolt of electricity as my skin touched hers. My heart started thudding very fast and that emptiness that had been in my heart for so long was instantly covered up by some form of completeness.

"Let me go."

"We need to talk." I spoke softly, not wishing to cause a scene.

"I don't know you, f uck off me!"

"Why are you denying? What the hell happened to you? Do you have any idea how hard I've searched for you?"

As if my words only made her further furious. She scowled at me. "Get your dirty hands off me!!"

"I'm not going anywhere until you listen to me."

Afraid that something was amiss, Robert rushed in our direction.

"Do you know him?" He turned to Bonnie who shook her head immediately.

"She's fucking lying." I spoke, still not letting go of her hand even as she tried to struggle free.

"Leave her alone, creep. She said she doesn't know you."

"Mind your own business and get the hell out of here."

"I'm going to call the police if you don't let her go."

"Who in the devil are you to order me what to do?"

"And who in the devil are you to hold her against her will?" By this time, we were already being observed.

"I'm her fiancé."

Robert frowned and made a cursory glance at Bonnie, then at me.

My statement shocked Bonnie, as she stared at me in shock.

"Is it a family matter so I can let you all off? I thought you needed help, so I dropped by."

"I don't know him. I've never seen him in my life. He's just a ps ycho. Tell him to keep his hands off me.

Even though I felt like an infinitely sharp object had slit my heart lengthwise, I tried to keep my temper under control.".

"Leave your filthy hands off her."

"And what are you going to do if I don't?"

"Don't dare me!" Brian spat his venom-filled slow pace towards me.

"I'm not the one you think you know. I don't know you from any f ucking where. Let me out!"

Is that the way you want to keep embarrassing me? For f ucks sake, it's been years since you ran out on me. I wish we could converse. Why do you have to be such a f ucking obstinate one?"

Let her go and stop manufacturing lying stories." Robert pushed his hand, trying to save Bonnie.

"Get the f uck off of me.".

Everything happened so fast that even Bonnie did not realize I was approaching. I pushed Robert off my back, the unsuspecting man who had knocked against the chair after which I dragged Bonnie to myself and kissed her on the lips.

Tears had at once welled up in Bonnie's eyes. She shoved me away from her as hard as she could, and then her hand shot across my face, hitting me quite forcefully on the cheek, without regard to the fact that everyone in the coffee shop was looking at us.

Despite I was angry that she had slapped my face, I tried to ignore that part, then I had got her face in my hands.

"It's you"

"Though you protest, the flavor of your lips had told me what I had needed to know."

"You're always such a terrible liar and f uck you for making me feel rejected!"

"You are mine and there's no chance that I will ever let you go, particularly after all the nights that I've stayed awake."

"Let me go!!!!!" She was attempting to remove my hands from her face.

"Why? Are you scared of what I'm going to do with you? Huh?"

"F uck off!!!"

"You're mine, Bonnie. If I can't have you then nobody else can."

"I'm not Bonnie. I don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about."

"If you say that word again, I'm gonna kiss you silly and smooch you so bad that you would beg me to quit!"

Bonnie swallowed involuntarily.

"This is not over! I'm going to make you pay for making me worry about you all these years while you keep your f ucking a ss here."

"Watch your back and keep the f uck away from men like him. We are dating, remember? I don't want you to be seen with any man or you're going to get punished."

Bonnie swallowed in pain. She was torn between turned on and enraged. Turned on by what I had said and enraged by what I had said and the way I had said it because I was being so stupidly clingy and invading her space like we were actually close before I decided to make her life hell.

"You're insane. I don't even know you. Get the f uck off me." She shoved my hands away from her face.

"I'll be back for you." I announced, then stormed out of the coffee shop.

"What a ba stard!" I grumbled.

"Are you fine?" Robert hastened to her side.

"Yh…yeah…. I'm fine. Sorry about it all."

"I'm okay. Just worried about you. If you don't know him, you might want to report this at the police station."

"I'll get to it. Thanks."

"Please do. He seems really dangerous. He's certainly confusing you with someone who harmed him."

"He's a psycho. But I'll be fine. Sorry, you had to experience all that."

"It's okay. Will be hearing from your company."

"Absolutely,"

The two stepped outside into the fresh air. Robert's chauffeur was waiting to take him away. They exchanged their final goodbye as he got into the car.

With a very sorrowful heart, Bonnie ran to her car, opened the door, and made sure everywhere was properly locked by closing it up.

With shaking hands, she removed her phone from her purse, scrolled through her contacts, and called the number when she saw it.
