After surveying the main territory, Lucien turned his attention toward the World Fortification Network.
The West Continent was done.
He arrived above one of the Tidewatch stations and allowed his senses to spread.
The network stretched across the shores like a second nervous system.
Observation towers stood along cliffs, islands, ports, and hidden coastal formations. Beneath them, detection arrays extended through stone, water, air, and leyline routes. Each station communicated with the others, allowing disturbances to be measured from several directions before being classified.
Nothing moved through the surrounding seas without leaving some kind of pressure behind.
Lucien activated Structural Insight.
The world unfolded into strings.
Lucien studied the Tidewatch Network.
Then he smiled.
The strings were beautiful.
