The woman that Takeshi saved was a test subject from a strange experiment that is taken place on Exeria.
But who is she? And what happened to her on the lab that held that experiment?
To know the answer to that questions, we should know her backstory.
Therefore, I will tell you the story before she meets Takeshi.
THIS IS HER STORY.
Before she became a lab rat, she was an office worker of a digital art and literature company called, "Reader's Record". She works as a graphic designer.
In the office, she works as usual.
The woman is working, while drinking a coffee to stay awake.
She's quite sleepy.
She says, "Ahhhh!!!!! I should have not read manga until 2 a.m. in the morning."
Then she drinks her coffee again.
After that, the man from the sales and marketing division called her.
"Hey, Yukari-san!! Have you finished the logo design?"
She replies, "Oh, could you just wait a little longer? Onegai, just a little longer."
The man answers, "Alright, just finish it quickly. Because I need the logo for the poster and the company's social media this week."
Yukari replies, "WAKATA!! I'll do it as fast as possible!!!"
"Yeah, yeah."
The man then says to the other graphic designer.
"Himari-san, have you finished with the poster design?"
"Yeah, I'm done!!"
Yukari then hits her cheeks with both of her hands.
"Yosh! Let's get this over it!!"
After that, she works on maximum concentration.
So concentrate until to the point, she doesn't know that her work colleague, Himari called her.
Himari says, "Ne, Yukari-san. Let's have a lunch together."
Yukari is still working.
"Hmm?"
Then Himari calls her again, "Yukari-san."
Yukari replies, "Ha?!"
Himari says, "Mo, you're still working on that."
Yukari replies, "Yeah."
Then she looks at the logo that she worked.
Himari surprised as she sees it.
"SUGOI!! The design is astounding!!!!!"
Yukari replies, "NO!! NOT ASTOUNDING ENOUGH!!!!!"
Himari says, "What do you mean? It looks great already."
Yukari says, "Yeah, for you. But not for me. For me, it's not enough. So IT WON'T BE ENOUGH UNTIL I SAY IT'S ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!"
Himari replies, "Aaa...…. Alright, alright. It's up to you. Gambare."
Yukari says, "Yeah, Arigatou."
Then she returns to her work again.
Yukari then takes out five onigiris.
She eats all of it, while working on the logo design at the same time.
On 1 p.m, she finally finished the logo.
She cracks her knuckles and fingers of both of her hands.
Then she screamed, "FINALLY IT'S FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!"
The entire division are surprised, because of her loud scream.
Himari then sees the result herself.
As she sees it, she's truly shocked.
She is speechless.
Then the man from the sales and marketing division comes again.
"I heard that you finally finish with the logo. Alright, show me the logo."
As he sees it, he's also shocked.
Yukari says with a proud tone, "So, how is it?!"
Himari and the man replies, "DAMN!!!!!"
The man says, "It's perfect!!"
Himari also says, "You're so creative, Yukari-san."
The man replies, "Thanks for your hard work, Yukari-san."
Yukari says, "Yokata."
Then she immediately falls asleep on her work desk.
Himari and the man says, "Eh?"
The man says, "She falls asleep."
Himari then says, "She must be really tired."
AT NIGHT ON 7 P.M.
Yukari and Himari walk together after work.
Yukari still sleepy.
After that, she's yawning.
Himari smiles and says, "You're still sleepy, hah?"
Yukari replies, "Huh, yeah. Thank God, I finished the logo perfectly."
Himari says, "Yeah, yeah. No need to brag about it."
Yukari replies, "But it's perfect, right?"
Himari says, "Yeah, thanks for your hard work."
Then she says, "Oh, how about I treat you for dinner as a gift for your 'perfect' work."
Yukari replies, "Really?!"
Himari smiles and answers, "Yeah."
Yukari hugs Himari and says, "Oh.... Arigatou, Himari-chan!"
Himari replies, "Doumoitashimashite."
Yukari then asked, "By the way, where do we want to eat?"
Himari replies, "Up to you."
Yukari says, "Really?! Up to me?! I could choose which restaurant I want?!"
Himari replies, "Yeah, just pick a restaurant."
Yukari says, "YOSH!!!!! I HAVE ONE RESTAURANT THAT I TRULY LOVE!!!!!"
The restaurant's name is "PEKO PEKO PARADISE"
Both of them stands in front of the restaurant.
Yukari smiles widely.
Himari says, "Peko Peko Paradise?"
Yukari gives a thumbs up and replies, "Yeah! This restaurant is SUPER DUPER OISHI!!!!! And plus, this restaurant provides a lot of various sushi, ramen and they also have tasty sakes!!!!!"
Himari looks worried and says, "I got a bad feeling about this."
Yukari then holds her arm and takes her into the restaurant.
"Come on, come on, let's get inside."
Himari says, "Hey, wait!!"
As they're in the restaurant, Yukari smiles and says, "Hehe, I could eat as many as I want, without worrying about the bills."
Then the servant arrived and gives the menu.
She says, "What do you like to order, miss?"
Before Himari starts to speak, Yukari says, "I WANT TUNA MAYO!!, CHEESE RAMEN!!, OMURICE!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!! AND THIS!!"
"Alright, is that all for the order? How about you, miss?"
Himari surprised and she thinks, "Yukari already order a lot. If I order as well, I will spend more money."
Then she says, "That's all."
The female servant bows and replies, "Wakarimashita."
But after that, Yukari says, "WAIT!! TWO BOTTLE OF SAKES AS WELL!!!!!"
Himari truly surprised (while open her mouth).
She's completely speechless.
The servant bows and replies again, "Wakarimashita. Thank you for your order."
Himari says in her thought, "YUKARI-SAN!!!!!!!!!!"
Then their order arrive.
Yukari immediately eats all of the foods eagerly.
Himari already lost her appetite, even before the foods arrived.
She gulps and starts to eat.
After they finished eating, Yukari is drunk at the table.
Meanwhile, Himari pays the bill of all that food and sakes.
In her thoughts, she says, "My money."
Then the cashier bows and says, "Arigatou Gozaimasu."
After that, Himari carries drunk Yukari by her arm.
Himari sighs and says, "First, you have waste a lot of my money and now, I have to carry your ass."
Yukari (in a drunk mode) says, "Hehe, oishi."
Himari replies, "Yare yare."
She carries her for a long time, until they stop at the middle of an empty street.
Himari puts Yukari on the bench and she also sits.
She takes a rest and says, "You're quite heavy, Yukari-san."
Yukari (still in a drunk mode) says, "Arigatou Gozaimasu, Himari-chan."
Himari smiles as she hears that.
"Well even if you're weird and a hassle, but you're still my best friend."
Suddenly, a man approaches them and says, "Ah, excuse me. I'm lost. Do you know the way to the train station?"
Then Himari replies, "Sure."
She stands up, go towards the man and tells him the direction.
As she tells direction to the man, a group of strange masked assassin with robes and capes kidnapped Yukari.
Himari realizes and look back.
"HEY!!"
After that, the man who asks the direction immediately knock her off and take her as well.
When Yukari regains her consciousness, she sees herself in a dungeon.
Himari is beside her and says, "Have a nice sleep there, Yukari-san."
Yukari then replies, "Himari!! What is this place? Where are we?"
Himari says, "I don't know, a group of strange people with a mask and capes kidnapped you and I also got knocked off by a man who asking me for directions. And as I wake up, here we are."
Then Yukari goes to the window.
As she looks at the window, she surprised.
It turns out, the environment outside is full of masked assassins and strange creatures like Griffons, Dragons, Qilin (An eastern dragon-horse hybrid), Manticores, Hydras, Chimeras, Dwarves, Ogres, Goblins and etc.
And with that, Yukari realizes that she's on the another world.
