Eden was quiet, staring at her. He didn't know what she had in mind or how it was going to pan out. But he was certain she had planned it for a long time. Meticulously crafted it out of fury and contempt. And she had fashioned it in the best way she could.
And no one was going to stop her.
"I'll do as you say," Eden said. "I'll take him away and make sure he's safe." He hesitated before adding, "Just make sure you're safe."
"Don't worry about me," she stared at him. "Just worry about not getting killed at the engagement."
Eden let out a smile. "Don't worry. I won't."
It was a conversation that went as simply as that. Eden didn't ask further questions. All he needed to know was that Queen Elizabeth had an ace up her sleeve and wasn't the typical pushover.
Shocking as it was, it was still satisfying to know. And now all he had to do was take Elvis away and watch her play her cards.
