Prince Lysander was standing outside the Royal Library. Pacing left to right and back at the entrance.
He was still thinking about what he saw. The kiss Eden had with Felix. And he couldn't help but feel terrible about it.
A part of him was pissed off. Angry that Eden was kissing someone else. But another part of him felt sad and defeated.
He paced around thinking of what he should do. He thought of leaving for his chamber and letting Eden stay with Felix.
But on the other hand, he figured that he wouldn't feel at least leaving the two of them alone.
Having thought about that, Lysander made up his mind to go in again. He was hopeful at least. Hopeful that maybe he would still get a chance with Eden.
Still get a chance to tell him how he felt.
And so he turned and made his way into the Royal Library again.
But as soon as he walked, he was welcomed by the sight of Eden in tears.
