That night, Eden was in his chamber with Lenny. Chatting while stroking the cat's furs.
"You did a really good job tonight with the dragon effect. I'm proud of you" Eden smiled, patting him.
Lenny sighed "I'm so exhausted. Do you know the amount of energy I had to use??"
Eden smiled "I know. Don't worry, I'll feed you to replenish your energy"
"You better" Lenny said "Did you really have to go to that extent for him? I mean... You two aren't that close. You're just business partners"
Eden hesitated "You have to be friends if you want the partnership to bloom" Eden smiled knowing that he did it out of genuine pity for Elvis.
And he knew Lenny was smart enough to tell as well.
"I'll still remind you not to fall in love with him. You can't fall in love with a fictional character" Lenny said "It'll complicate things"
