Crackling sounds burst from Saitama's body!
Blue-white arcs of electricity surged across his hands, bathing him in a surreal glow.
Grabbing the enemy's ankle with his left hand, his body instantly shifted sideways while his right hand, locked in combat with the opponent's attack, retracted accordingly.
The attacks from these two enemies arrived simultaneously, without delay.
Yet Saitama reacted just as fast, countering their combined assault head-on.
Using the force from the impact, he swiftly moved sideways, creating distance between himself and the attackers.
He flipped mid-air before landing firmly on the ground.
Just two Jonin—Saitama thought to himself. This shouldn't take long.
After steadying himself, he turned his head slightly and saw Orochimaru standing calmly outside the battlefield, arms crossed over his chest.
So indifferent, so detached—this was exactly how Orochimaru looked at this moment.
"Finish it quickly—we're leaving!"
Orochimaru cast his gaze toward the other side where a group of Stone Shinobi hesitated, unsure how to enter the fight. His golden, serpent-like eyes gleamed coldly, like those of a venomous snake sizing up helpless prey.
"Heh…"
Saitama slightly pursed his lips, realizing that his drawn-out battle had annoyed Orochimaru.
He stomped his foot downward; a black footprint formed beneath him as he shot straight toward his opponents.
After their failed joint attack, those two Stone Shinobi didn't attempt to chase further but instead quickly retreated backward, rejoining the larger group ahead.
[Earth Release - Earth Dragon Jutsu!]
[Earth Release - Rock Drop]
[Earth Release - Stone Strike]
[Earth Release - Yellow Spring Swamp]
…
As soon as they formed up, they unleashed every Ninjutsu at their disposal toward Saitama.
Over ten shinobi exerted themselves fully, with bloodshot eyes.
With the Sharingan activated, it was as if Saitama had turned on a cheat function.
To him, the trajectories of these techniques seemed straightforward and simple—easy enough to dodge.
First, he leaped off the ground to avoid the suddenly muddied terrain, preventing any hindrance to his movement.
Then, midair, he made subtle adjustments to his posture and dodged most of the incoming attacks.
Observing a large brown boulder hurtling straight toward his face, Saitama remained expressionless. A flash of white light erupted from his right hand, slicing horizontally before him.
With a *crack*, the jutsu-formed rock shattered, and through the gap among the flying debris, Saitama continued charging forward.
"Damn it! Keep attacking with jutsu!"
One Jonin shouted grimly, but the next second, he sounded like a duck with its throat pinched shut—only able to let out a hoarse noise.
Because Saitama had already reached him, grabbing his throat with his left hand and lifting him high into the air.
Most Stone Shinobi were short and stocky—Saitama had the height to dominate them.
Electricity surged from his arm into the enemy's body through his grip, instantly paralyzing him and rendering him unable to resist.
"Watch out!"
Before the other ninja could even warn his companion, he saw his comrade already seized by Saitama.
His right hand formed a seal and dense chakra began to ripple.
"Let him go!"
He shouted loudly, menacingly pointing his finger at Saitama.
Behind him, several earth spears slowly rose up.
"Heheh..." Seeing the enemy in his grasp beginning to roll his eyes back and weakly struggling, Saitama curled his lips.
Due to the tremendous pressure and electric current from his hand, the enemy struggled to breathe and felt completely drained of strength, making resistance nearly impossible.
"Hahaha..."
With a flick of his right hand, white condensed electricity flashed across his palm.
Red threads appeared on the enemy's chest, tearing through his clothing and leaving a long, narrow gash.
As he loosened his grip, the enemy's struggling body dropped to the ground.
That precise hand slice had severed the connection between the heart and major arteries, as well as cut off the link between the lungs and the respiratory system.
Though not dead immediately, he was definitely on the brink of death. Even with Medical Ninjas present, such wounds would be extremely difficult to heal.
"You..."
[Earth Release - Earth Spear!]
Another Stone Shinobi, witnessing his comrade's fate, turned red-eyed. With that, he released the ninja seals he was forming, sending the earth spear behind him flying like an arrow straight toward Saitama.
"What utter arrogance!" Saitama tilted his head slightly, pivoting his feet without even glancing at the incoming technique.
Blinding light erupted from his palm, effortlessly slicing through the attack. The earth spears shattered into pieces as they fell to the ground.
Before the Stone Shinobi could counterattack, Saitama had already arrived before him.
Confusion filled the enemy's eyes.
A sharp pain pierced his chest. His chakra began slipping out of control—difficult to gather, hard to channel—and his body started feeling helplessly weak.
Ignoring the enemy's reaction, Saitama simply thrust his hand through the spot where his heart should be, instantly ending his life.
Saitama snapped his knee upward into the enemy's gut, sending him flying backward like a ragdoll.
Midair, blood spewed from his mouth and chest wound.
"And what about you lot..."
The airborne enemy crashed heavily onto the ground several meters away among the Stone Shinobi, finally ceasing all signs of life.
Once the heart has been pierced, how could there possibly be any chance left to survive?
This wasn't some rexue (passionate passion) anime protagonist with absurdly strong vitality—no way someone like that could survive.
Taking a single step forward, Saitama fixed his gaze on the remaining enemies.
The Stone Shinobi were now terrified by Saitama's ruthless efficiency. First glancing at their lifeless comrades on the ground, then looking at Saitama, fear surfaced in their eyes.
That was a Jonin-level opponent, yet Saitama killed him like swatting flies—clearly operating on a completely different level!
A blur of motion—and Saitama vanished again, throwing the remaining Stone Shinobi into chaos.
A flash of blue-white light cut through the line of shinobi like a butterfly flitting through flowers.
"Urk..."
"Heheh..."
A dozen Stone Shinobi each clutched their necks as blood seeped through the gaps between their fingers.
Thud! Saitama reappeared behind them, completely unscathed. Killing them was about as hard as walking through a park on a Sunday morning.
Slowly turning around, Saitama looked toward the Stone shinobi who were still standing motionless on the spot, but whose bodies had begun to twitch.
Soon enough, they all collapsed onto the ground, lying in pools of blood and losing their precious lives.
Fixing his gaze straight ahead, Saitama saw Orochimaru, who was watching him with an amused expression in his eyes.
Orochimaru indeed felt somewhat surprised. Although those enemies were merely a few jonin plus a group of chunin, even he himself wouldn't be able to eliminate them this swiftly without resorting to certain [Kinjutsu] techniques.
"Tsk tsk!"
Orochimaru made a sound while crossing his arms, which trembled slightly as his chest rose and fell repeatedly.
"Alright then, I guess no one will come to disturb us anymore!"
Saitama shrugged, glancing at the fallen Stone shinobi littering the ground, frowning only slightly.
These ninja really died for no worthwhile reason; they not only failed to obtain sufficient intelligence, but also wasted the village's resources and efforts invested in their training.
"Mm!"
Orochimaru nodded, stepped onto a boulder, and then leaped down from the cliffside.
Without saying anything, Saitama seemed to sense something and glanced toward the distance.
However, the distance was too great for him to make out any details, though he could sense faint chakra fluctuations from that direction.
Following after Orochimaru, Saitama likewise jumped down the cliff.
He needed to accompany Orochimaru to another hidden base to carry out further experiments.
Such as utilizing the Materials for Impure World Resurrection Ritual collected this time, or checking how far Orochimaru's cloning technology and Cursed Seals had progressed and whether they could provide him with any assistance.
