"Foolish big brother! Switch opponents and take them down! Oh yeah!" Killer Bee rushed over, still reeling from the effects of Sasori's Wood Release. The chakra-absorbing properties of the technique were incredibly frustrating.
"Hmph!" The Raikage snorted, shifting his focus to Sasori.
Boom!
A massive tentacle slammed down, crushing hundreds of Deidara's clay clones.
Against an enemy like a Tailed Beast, these simple clay clones were practically useless. Deidara ascended into the sky on a clay bird, locking eyes with the transformed Killer Bee.
"This is our second battle," Deidara said with a smirk.
"But the me of today is completely different from before. Taking you down will be ridiculously easy." As Deidara spoke, swarms of clay dragons flew out from his hands, quickly filling the air with their numbers.
"Second battle?"
"I remember now! It was you last time!" The Eight-Tails' voice trembled with fear. While the Wood Release was troublesome, this enemy seemed even more problematic.
"That's right. Taste my art!"
The swarm of dragons charged toward the Eight-Tails, exploding one after another. However, these explosions were merely appetizers, not even worth mentioning. Deidara didn't expect them to cause any significant damage.
C2: Enhanced Great Dragon! C2: Enhanced Manda!
Two enormous clay beasts appeared, their menacing gazes fixed on the Eight-Tails.
"Bee, use the Tailed Beast Ball directly!"
"If creatures of this size get too close, their explosions will destroy both of us," the Eight-Tails warned anxiously.
"That's not entirely true. These two are still C2 models. Their explosive power is only equivalent to five times that of a standard Tailed Beast Ball. If you compare it to your Tailed Beast Ball, it's probably just twice as powerful," Deidara explained casually.
"Even if they explode right in your face, it would probably only leave you severely injured," he added, before commanding Manda to attack the Eight-Tails.
Boom!
The Tailed Beast Ball launched by Killer Bee flew toward the clay Manda with violent force. However, Manda burrowed underground, evading the attack.
Then, a Dragon Mother emerged, intercepting the Tailed Beast Ball.
"Drink this!"
Boom!
The explosion from the Dragon Mother destroyed the Tailed Beast Ball, illuminating the battlefield with intense firelight. Even the Hidden Leaf camp in the distance was lit up as if it were daytime.
"What's going on?" someone exclaimed, shielding their face from the gust of wind that followed.
"It's coming from the direction of the Hidden Cloud camp. What's happening over there?"
"Alright! Everyone, follow me immediately!" Nara Shikaku, acting as the commander, stepped forward. He deduced that Deidara and Sasori had launched a direct assault on the Hidden Cloud camp. He had to act quickly. If Deidara and Sasori won, they could pursue the advantage. If they lost, they'd need to provide support—losing these two powerful allies would leave them completely unable to resist the Raikage and the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki.
Back on the battlefield, the clay Manda burrowed underground, attempting to approach the Eight-Tails.
But Killer Bee wasn't about to let that happen. If it got close, the consequences would be catastrophic.
The Eight-Tails' tentacles flailed wildly, smashing the surrounding ground to pieces. Based on the vibrations and movement of the debris, Killer Bee quickly pinpointed Manda's location.
Drip!
Another Tailed Beast Ball was launched, smaller and less powerful than the previous one due to shorter charging time, but still sufficient to destroy the clay Manda.
Sigh!
"Using explosions to counter Tailed Beast Balls every time is such a hassle. That's why I invented this."
C3: Special Type: Gluttonous Toad!
A rotund clay frog appeared on the battlefield, its size even surpassing that of the Eight-Tails. It stood in front of Manda and opened its massive mouth, swallowing the Eight-Tails' Tailed Beast Ball in one gulp.
"This operates on the same principle as the Fire-Breathing Dragon and Flesh Colossus. The difference is that instead of generating explosions internally, it absorbs external energy sources to create explosive power."
"Oh, right. You haven't seen the Fire-Breathing Dragon or Flesh Colossus, so explaining it to you is pointless."
Boom!
After a muffled explosion, the Gluttonous Toad reopened its mouth, aiming directly at the Eight-Tails. The high temperature and shockwave from the Tailed Beast Ball's explosion were returned to the Eight-Tails in their entirety.

"This is so unfair!" the Eight-Tails exclaimed, hurriedly dodging. To unleash its full power, it had taken direct control of its own body.
Hiss!
Taking advantage of the chaos, the clay Manda charged toward the Eight-Tails, accompanied by numerous giant rock worms created by Deidara to assist Manda.
"Multiple Tailed Beast Balls!" The Eight-Tails launched three consecutive Tailed Beast Balls while retreating to create distance.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Gluttonous Toad managed to swallow one of them, but the other two required Deidara to sacrifice another Dragon Mother and numerous clay creatures to block.
It had to be admitted—the Eight-Tails was indeed formidable. If it were any of the One-Tails to Seven-Tails, they would've been defeated by Deidara long ago.
Only the Eight-Tails, with its massive chakra reserves allowing it to continuously launch Tailed Beast Balls, was able to hold its ground against Deidara for an extended period.
"Damn it! This isn't working!"
"When did the ninja world become so dangerous?"
It was a Tailed Beast—the second strongest among them! How had it come to this, being beaten up every time it left its lair?
Getting crushed by the Rinnegan recently was understandable; after all, that was the power of the Sage of Six Paths. Losing was expected.
Getting crushed by Wood Release earlier was tolerable; that was the power of Senju Hashirama.
But now, this brat could also beat it up?
The Eight-Tails retreated while fighting, using its tentacles to crush ordinary clay creatures and simultaneously keeping an eye on Manda, the Gluttonous Toad, and Deidara in the sky.

"Foolish Gyūki! Watch out! The white snake is coming!" Killer Bee's rap echoed, jolting the Eight-Tails into awareness. It realized that the clay Manda had managed to get dangerously close.

In desperation, the Eight-Tails wrapped itself tightly in its tentacles, trying to shield itself from the impending explosion.
Given the size and proximity of the clay Manda, this blast would cost it half its life!
But the expected explosion never came. Opening an eye, the Eight-Tails saw a figure in a blue robe floating in mid-air. The damage from the clay Manda's explosion seemed to have collided with an invisible wall of air.
Almighty Push!
"Oh? I didn't expect to meet you again so soon," Deidara said, looking at Obito. A sense of danger welled up inside him.
To be honest, facing Obito with the Rinnegan now was challenging. The two were evenly matched, but neither could easily defeat the other.
If it were someone else, Obito could simply use Planetary Devastation to seal them away.
But against Deidara, he'd just blow up the Planetary Devastation.
Obito clearly had no intention of dragging things out.
"These two are my subordinates. I'm taking them," Obito declared.
"Who's your subordinate? I'm the Raikage of the Hidden Cloud Village!" the Raikage roared furiously. He had fought Sasori to a stalemate, with neither able to gain the upper hand.
"Is that so? Then I must've been mistaken," Obito said coldly, glancing at the Raikage.
"Ugh!" The Raikage punched the ground in frustration.
"Fine. Take us away," the once-stubborn man finally relented in the face of survival.
"Until next time," Obito said to Deidara and Sasori before departing.
