The next day, in the top-floor conference room of the Sunagakure Ninja Academy.
This conference room had been converted into a large classroom. At the front was a large blackboard, with a podium positioned in front of it.
Sōmi stood behind the podium, looking somewhat puzzled at the densely packed crowd before him.
He had initially thought there would be at most a dozen or so attendees, perhaps even just a handful. After all, given Sunagakure's previous lack of expertise in sealing techniques, very few people had any foundational knowledge in the subject.
However, surveying the current group, Sōmi estimated there were at least sixty people present.
The classroom was semicircular in design, resembling a miniature version of a Roman amphitheater, though far smaller and less grand.
Most of the students seated in the classroom were teenagers, their faces brimming with anticipation and excitement. There were also some older attendees, whose expressions were more reserved and composed.
Among the crowd, Sōmi spotted two familiar faces. One was the monk Hōichi, whom he had previously met at the temple. His shiny bald head and monk's robes made him stand out conspicuously in the classroom.
The other familiar face was Pakura.
Sōmi glanced at her curiously, wondering why she was here. After all, Pakura wasn't known to have any knowledge of sealing techniques.
Sitting in the back row, Pakura had foregone her usual alluring backless combat outfit, opting instead for a simple shirt and pants. However, her generous figure, accentuated by the tight fit of her pants and her stunningly beautiful face, still exuded an irresistible charm. From the side, her silhouette was enough to make any ordinary man stand at attention in awe.
Noticing Sōmi's gaze, Pakura seemed a bit embarrassed. She gestured toward the girl sitting beside her. This girl had purple war paint on her cheeks and sat with her hands neatly folded on the desk, embodying the posture of a model student.
Sōmi subtly nodded in acknowledgment.
After scanning the room and taking in the unfamiliar faces, Sōmi sighed inwardly. "Sensei really is the type to squeeze every last bit of usefulness out of people..."
But since things had already come to this, Sōmi resolved to finish teaching the four volumes of sealing techniques he had compiled as quickly as possible, so he could extricate himself from this obligation.
"Ahem!"
Sōmi cleared his throat softly, drawing the attention of those who were still whispering among themselves.
Then, in a loud and clear voice, he began, "Before we start the lesson, let me first emphasize a few rules of discipline."
"While I'm speaking, no one is allowed to make any noise at their desks. If you have a question about the material or need to leave for urgent reasons, you must raise your hand first."
"If you want to discuss anything, you can do so during the twenty-minute break or after class."
"If anyone violates these rules, I will have to 'escort' you out..."
As he finished speaking, Sōmi released a small burst of his chakra.
Whoosh!
A gust of wind swept through the room, directly hitting the students seated in their chairs.
They felt as though a strong wind had slapped them in the face.
Rustle, rustle...
The sound of pages flipping echoed as some students' textbooks, carelessly left open, were blown by the wind.
"Alright!"
"Please open the first volume of your textbooks to the first page!"
"As we all know, the foundation of a ninja's skillset is hand signs. The faster one can form hand signs, the greater the advantage in battle."
"Of course, those who reach a certain level of strength will begin to simplify their hand signs, but that's a separate matter."
"Similarly, when it comes to learning sealing techniques, these fundamental sealing formulas are like the hand signs we use—they are the basis for performing all sealing techniques."
"Therefore, your first task is to memorize all of these sealing formulas thoroughly."
"Now, let's look at the first formula in your textbooks..."
Before long, the students' initial awe at Sōmi's overwhelming power transformed into admiration for his profound knowledge of sealing techniques.
As Sōmi's voice resonated through the spacious classroom, the morning session quickly came to an end.
It was evident that some of the girls in the audience were already in a state of starry-eyed infatuation. After all, Sōmi was undeniably a standout among his generation in Sunagakure, whether in terms of appearance, strength, or intellect.
Moreover, thanks to the Third Kazekage's deliberate promotion, Sōmi was also known as the hero who single-handedly turned the tide of battle and led Sunagakure to victory over Kirigakure.
For these young girls, having such a figure personally teach them was an experience that left a deep impression on their hearts.
"Sōmi!"
As Sōmi walked out of the ninja academy, a shout reached his ears.
"Huh? Pakura? What's up?"
Sōmi squinted his eyes slightly as he saw Pakura jogging toward him, secretly admiring the graceful curves of her figure.
"Well..."
"I've been feeling a bit uncertain about the direction of my strength development recently and was hoping you could give me some advice," Pakura said after catching her breath and walking up to Sōmi.
"Ah, I see. Well, it's about time for lunch anyway. How about we discuss it over a meal?" Sōmi suggested.
"Uh... sure..."
Pakura's expression seemed a bit flustered. After all, in her relatively simple life, she had never experienced dining alone with a man.
(Of course, eating with a group of male comrades during missions didn't count.)
Before long, the two of them arrived at a rather upscale restaurant.
"So, your issue is that you feel your chakra is insufficient, and after developing Scorch Release, you're unsure how to proceed further?"
"Exactly!"
Sitting across from Pakura, Sōmi scooped up a spoonful of hummus and placed it in his mouth, savoring the taste.
The hummus, made with olive oil, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice, had a tangy and slightly sweet flavor. Paired with some vegetables and bread, it was an incredibly appetizing starter.
Sōmi found that he preferred normal food like this. Unlike Sasori, who had become a self-proclaimed "dark gourmet," such simple dishes probably wouldn't appeal to him at all.
"For most ninjas, chakra is indeed a natural and inescapable limitation on their strength," Sōmi began, setting down the dish handed to him by the server.
"That's one of the reasons why I became the Jinchūriki of the One-Tail..."
"As for conventional methods of increasing chakra reserves, the only way is to diligently train your body and enhance cellular activity..."
Before Sōmi could finish, Pakura interjected, "I've been doing that consistently. Whenever I'm not on a mission, I stick to a daily training schedule."
"But now it feels like my progress has slowed to a crawl, almost imperceptibly..."
Pakura's tone carried a hint of discouragement.
