Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: Entry Of the Moron in My Life

The sun was out and blazing like it had a personal vendetta, but Danna didn't slow down. Her brown hair whipped behind her as she ran, eyes sparkling hazel in the light. Today was the first day of university—no way she could be late.

"Thank God you came!" Natalia huffed, jogging up beside her. "I thought you were going to pull a Sleeping Beauty and rot in bed."

Danna laughed. "No way! I promised we'd go together, and I never break promises. Not to you, bestie."

"Love you," Natalia grinned, checking her phone.

They stopped in front of Sunshine University. The building loomed, painted in a modern contrast of white and black, with rows of neat casement windows that reflected the sky.

"If you're done admiring the Hogwarts cosplay, can we go in now?" Natalia raised an eyebrow.

Danna nodded, still mesmerized. Her dream was finally real.

The hallway buzzed with voices and footsteps as students rushed around. Natalia turned to her. "I'm going to check the class list—they posted it on the board." And she disappeared into the crowd, leaving Danna soaking in the moment.

A red, luxurious car rolled to a stop in front of the university gates. Students gasped, eyes widening—everyone knew who it was.

The son of one of the top businessmen in Washington City.

As the door opened, a tall, handsome man stepped out. He wore a black t-shirt paired with crisp white pants, sunglasses perched perfectly on his face, and a Rolex gleaming on his wrist like a casual flex.

His hair was inky black, messy like he didn't care—but way too perfect to be accidental.

Then, another charming guy stepped out from the other side of the car. He wore a yellow t-shirt and jeans, standing confidently beside the first man.

His hair was a tousled mess of honey-brown curls, like he'd just rolled out of bed and somehow still looked perfect.

"Girls are looking at you my boy sometimes, I feel jealous of you" Said Aiden smirking at him instead of replying back to Aiden he throwed his bag towards him and started walking.

WAIT FOR ME GARSON! Aiden shouted while running behind him. He entered the hall as all the eyes were on him. He went and sat on the sofa while scrolling in his phone Aiden informed him and went to check the list. Aiden came back and sat with me on the sofa as he was feeling hungry, he said I am going to buy something from the cafeteria,

you want something? One coffee Garson said while still scrolling on his phone. He came back after few minutes and gave him his coffee suddenly his phone was ringing so he got up and went to stairs to receive it.

"Our classroom is on second floor" said Natalia with excitement, a smile appeared on Danna's face. "So, let's go to the classroom girl" said Danna, Natalia nodded and started following her. As Danna was going to climb on the second stairs she unfortunately bumped into someone and hot coffee spilled all over her grey hoodie she screams in pain. "Are you blind? you stupid!" said Danna, Garson stood there, frozen.

He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, Danna exploded.

"IF YOU HAVE POOR EYES, GO SEE AN EYE SPECIALIST, YOU MORON!" she shouted.

The entire hall filled with gasps and muffled laughter. Students were already whispering, some straight up giggling like it was the hottest tea of the semester.

The brief flicker of worry in Garson's eyes vanished instantly. His expression hardened. His jaw clenched. That signature cold anger sparked in his eyes.

Natalia rushed over with tissues and a water bottle, kneeling beside Danna to help clean the hoodie.

Finally, Garson spoke—voice sharp, low, and venomous.

"It wasn't my fault a small-headed girl like you were too distracted to watch where she was going."

He pulled out a few folded bills from his wallet and tossed them toward her like trash.

"Here. Buy yourself some decent clothes, you poor thing."

"Take back your cash!" she snapped, throwing the bills right at his face. Her voice trembled, but her eyes were blazing."If it was useful, you'd have eyes… and a heart."

Garson stood still, stunned—but before he could speak again, a voice cut through the tension.

"Miss Woods, are you alright?"

It was Professor Kevin, striding toward them with urgency."Please come with me to the clinic," he said, gently placing a hand on her shoulder.
