Instantly, Megan sat up, her face reddening with anger.
"What are you doing?"
"I came to buy a house. Why do you seem to have a problem with that?" A question originally directed at Selene was answered by the woman as she whipped her head around to stare at Megan.
Megan's face instantly darkened.
"What is this? It's not that I have a problem with you embarrassing yourself, I just have a problem with you wasting our time."
Then she paused and threw a death glare Selene's way. "And you… you heard everything that happened here, yet you went out and called her back in? What do you know about customers that Ian and I don't?"
Before Selene could respond in her own defense, the womanc who hadn't shown a single sign of aggression earlier, regarded Megan coldly.
"She didn't call me back in. I told her I want to buy a house. Why are you being so rude?"
