I wake up to the sound of people talking on the street. It's been a lot of years since I last heard human crowd noises. I still can't believe, I am in an another world.
- "My lord! How was your sleep?"
I look at my left side. Ella is standing near the door. I reply to her with a smile, "It was perfect. How are you, Ella?" "Glad to know that, my lord. And I am very good, my lord. I've already made breakfast, my lord. Would you take a bath before the breakfast?" Ella says. "Sure. Wait a moment." I say to Ella as I get down from the bed. I enter into the bathroom.
In the meanwhile, let me tell you how a weak human like myself reincarnated as the most powerful creature in this another world.
In my previous life, I was human like you. But I was very weak from birth. I was prohibited from any games and work which contains physical activity. No one wanted to be my friend. One top of that, I was a pretty easy prey for bullying. I tried my best to hang on to the life, I have given. At age of 18, it happened. One day I was coming home from my cousin's home, some local bully noticed me. They started pushing me from here to there. At one point, a bully pushed me with too much force. I pushed back a little then fell down on the middle of road. It hurt so much. I stood up and heard the sound of horn. I looked at my left. There was a truck rushing towards me. I couldn't move a muscle. And the truck....
All became so dark. I don't remember how long I was in that dark place. Suddenly, I heard some strange voices. I opened my eyes and found myself lying on floor surrounded by more than 10 dragons.
Introvert like myself already knew about another world. So, even if I surprised a bit at first but I became super happy. I thanked God and Truck-kun for this gift.
So, a dragon family was expecting their 14th baby. But when the egg hatched they found a dead baby dragon. They called their senior dragons who performed a ritual and that baby dragon meaning I came alive. Yes, that weak human reincarnated as the the most powerful creature called dragon.
I was named Ryu Urthgard by my new parents.
It took me one year to learn the language, three and half to walk and five years to learn flying. Dragons communicate with telepathy. They can't actually read minds, but they send voices in others mind. They can speak just fine but they prefer telepathy.
Our village is hidden from outside world. No other race can reach this village. There are 5 types of dragon. Fire Dragon, Water Dragon, Air Dragon, Earth Dragon, Shadow Dragon.
We, Urthgards are Earth Dragon . We can use earth magic without any training. The Dragon King lives at a village named Arak. He can use all 5 magic. All the dragon including myself respects him, though we haven't gotten the chance to see him.
There is a school in the village. We were taught about nature, dragon biology, magic, genral knowledge, nature of other races, languages of other races etc.
One day, when I was playing with my siblings and cousins. I suddenly turned into human. Everyone was shocked. Only Dragon King and his royal family members can take human form. My father became impressed. It took me one year to control transformation. After that I can turn into Human or Dragon at my will.
When I became 50 years old, I was finally considered as young adult . And I could move out. I went to my parents and said that, "I want to explore the world." They were very persistent and worrying too much. But, I managed to make them agreed.
I flew to a forest which is near to a human city. And then took my human form. And also concealed my mana energy. My elder brother somehow managed to collect some human clothes. Those were not very fitting but it was better than nothing.
After walking for one day in the forest, I suddenly realised, I didn't have any money with me. So, I started searching for some herbs. Which would be perfect for me to sale in human society. I could easily sale one of my scale . But humans could became suspicious of me.
- "Hey You! Who are you?"
I turned around. There was a dark elf pointing Arrow towards me. She was scared.
"I am just an adventurer looking for herbs to sale." I replied with smile. She clearly not satisfied with my answer.
"Why you entered this depth of the forest? Mere human could never has the courage?" She asked.
"I didn't know this part of forest is dangerous. And I need some money." I replied with smile.
"And why you are afraid of my arrow and why are you not afraid of me, a dark elf?" She asked.
Of course, that arrow with little magic won't even do any harm on my first protective shield, let alone touch my skin. And dragons are the higher being. One dark elf or ten, doesn't matter to me.
I politely replied to her, "Because a beautiful lady like you won't do anything harm an innocent human like me."
"Flattery isn't going to work on me. But since I can't detect any danger from you. I will believe your word." She said while lowering the arrow. I said, "Thank You, um...."
"Ella. I am Ella. And you are?" She asked as she came infront of me.
"I am Ryu. It's an honor to meet you." I replied.
"Aren't you a gentleman!" Ella smiled.
All of a sudden, Ella prepared her bow and said with cautious voice, "We are surrounded."
"By whom?" I asked curiously.
"The most dangerous Predators of this forest." Ella replied with fear.
