Chapter 470 - Chapter 470: Lessons from a God

Whis smiled with obvious mischief, as if deliberately provoking a confrontation between Beerus and the Saiyans.

At the mere thought of fighting Lord Beerus, Goku became so excited he touched his fists together eagerly. He immediately transformed back into Super Blue, ready to give everything he had.

Grass and trees bent low under the pressure. Wind and waves rose and fell across the landscape. Successive surges of cool energy swept toward Beerus.

"Hmph. It seems you truly want me to teach you a proper lesson. Very well—I'll show you the difference between yourselves and a God of Destruction!" Beerus yawned with a nonchalant expression. "Raditz, are you participating?"

"Lord Raditz doesn't need to join. If all three of you attack together, Lord Beerus might actually struggle," Whis said with a light chuckle.

This comment made Beerus extremely irritated. Struggle? Several more wouldn't make a difference! He immediately shouted: "Raditz, you too! Even if I deal with all three of you simultaneously, I cannot lose!"

"Oh my, there's no other choice now." Whis spread his hands in mock helplessness, showing a triumphant expression. "Lord Raditz, please join them. Three against one seems evenly matched."

"Mr. Whis, are you doing this deliberately? I didn't say I wanted to fight Lord Beerus."

"It's beyond your control now—Lord Beerus personally requested a battle." Whis quickly deflected responsibility, turning his body aside as if the matter no longer concerned him.

Beerus was already shouting from across the field: "Raditz! Transform to your strongest state immediately! Don't claim I'm bullying you—I promise not to use Destruction energy!"

Raditz smiled wryly. Beerus was being remarkably generous. After all, the true terror of Destruction energy was its ability to obliterate everything at the fundamental energy level, completely ignoring factors like strength and defense. It was essentially a universal law! Raditz had studied Destruction before—just a fraction of that technique had been sufficient to annihilate Demigra's body, demonstrating its overwhelming power.

But even a Beerus who wasn't using Destruction energy wouldn't be easy to handle. How far could three-on-one actually take them? Raditz suddenly felt a glimmer of anticipation stirring.

Let's fight! Go all out and see just how much power a God of Destruction truly possesses!

Raditz summoned his fighting spirit, closed his eyes, and slowly gathered his strength. The airflow around him erupted violently in spiral patterns—like arctic wind frozen for millennia suddenly released. His aura transformed gradually, shifting from deep red to vibrant orange. The colors changed layer by layer—vivid and dynamic, warm yet sacred, powerful yet majestic!

Simultaneously, Son Goku and Vegeta raised their Super Blue power to absolute maximum. Azure flames illuminated the sky like two blazing swords thrust toward the heavens.

Space itself hummed with accumulated energy, the pressure pushing away even distant star fields. Infinite power resided within apparent calm.

"Is that so?" Beerus snorted coldly, his expression turning serious.

His body floated leisurely into the air. The entire God of Destruction realm trembled in response. Howling wind swept from one horizon to the other. Overwhelming pressure rushed forward like a mobile fortress wall.

The God of Destruction—standing with an utterly unshakable presence that transcended the realm of gods themselves.

Seeing this, Whis immediately tapped his scepter. "Begin."

Beerus's eyes sharpened with lethal focus. He flashed forward, disappearing from their sight like a phantom.

"So fast!" Raditz was genuinely startled, trembling all over. Since achieving Super Saiyan God status, there had been very few occasions where he couldn't perceive an enemy's movement—the exceptions being Whis and... Beerus!

"Really now?" A cold voice sounded directly behind Raditz.

BOOM!

Beerus's fist roared forward, purple energy wrapped around his knuckles as he struck fiercely toward Raditz's back.

Though Raditz hadn't seen Beerus move, the instant that voice registered, he suddenly became alert. Whether through instinct or conscious awareness, he dodged Beerus's punch at the critical moment.

SWISH!

Beerus struck empty air!

"How is that possible?!" Beerus was genuinely shocked. An attack that should have connected had actually been evaded? What had Raditz just done? It wasn't that Beerus couldn't see Raditz's movement—the motion had been too ordinary, the speed not particularly fast. He simply hadn't expected such a simple movement to successfully avoid his strike.

Is this Ultra Instinct?

After brief surprise, Beerus wasn't affected in the slightest. He immediately rushed forward again, launching another punch toward Raditz.

The violent strike came head-on. Having dodged one move, Raditz had no time to properly counter the second. He could only attempt to block.

But at the moment of collision, Raditz employed a unique technique—Spirit Fission! In just a single thought, Raditz transformed into ethereal form, passing directly through Beerus's arm and successfully evading once more.

"Quite a few tricks up your sleeve! Come out here!"

Beerus was genuinely angry now!

After two consecutive failed strikes, where would that leave the face of a God of Destruction? Beerus was absolutely furious. He swung his arms backward, bombarding space itself with pure power. A relentless torrent of violence poured forth, oppressing Raditz completely!

All tricks became useless before Beerus's absolute power. Whether spiritual transformation or psychic abilities—nothing mattered!

Raditz was forcibly expelled from his spirit state, reappearing in physical form. He tumbled sideways and crashed into the ground, creating a massive crater.

Purple lightning crackled around the impact site—thin serpentine bolts dancing, winding and twisting, leaping back and forth with electric fury.

"What incredible power!" Raditz's body continued shaking violently. His arms had gone completely numb. He'd engaged Beerus using his Super Saiyan 4 God form or Super Saiyan 4 Orange, but raw strength alone remained insufficient.

At that moment, Son Goku and Vegeta launched themselves forward from hundreds of meters away, rushing straight toward the God of Destruction. Two streaks of light converged on the same target.

Facing both attackers, Beerus's expression remained unchanged. His pale golden eyes gleamed with cold light. Suddenly he extended his fist to one side while his tail swung in a complete circle.

In an instant, Son Goku used Instant Transmission, appearing precisely beside Beerus. Vegeta simultaneously teleported behind him!

Beerus had seen through their movements completely. In his eyes, Instant Transmission was merely a trick of speed—nothing more.

Two successive impacts rang out. Son Goku and Vegeta were sent flying one after another, both crashing to the ground in succession.

"A word of advice: don't rely on petty tricks when battling gods. This is a contest of genuine strength. If you want victory, I suggest employing some actual skill!" Beerus swept his gaze across all three warriors, his presence commanding and severe.

Under that intense scrutiny, Raditz broke out in cold sweat. This was a duel with a deity—one couldn't be careless or approach it like fighting ordinary enemies.

"Again!" Raditz stood, orange-red gaseous flames leaping upward around him. Invisible waves of pressure spread outward in all directions.

Beerus smiled and clenched his fists tightly.

SWISH!

Raditz and Beerus disappeared simultaneously. Fierce attacks interlaced one after another. Ripples visible to the naked eye swayed through the air—powerful and mighty, capable of splitting heaven and earth. Dozens of exchanges occurred in the blink of an eye, with raging winds endless and relentless.

Raditz was frequently forced backward, yet his momentum never weakened. The more he fought, the more courageous he became!

Whis observed calmly, a faint smile gracing his features. "Lord Beerus is using seventy percent of his strength, yet Raditz is gradually matching his pace. Interesting... very interesting indeed."

Beerus was genuinely engaged now. The force behind his strikes involuntarily increased, accompanied by thunderous roars of exertion.
