Frieza's escape from the underworld, combined with Towa's survival, sent chills through everyone present. After learning that Frieza possessed the potential for even greater strength, no one dared underestimate the threat.
Raditz knew his current power wouldn't be sufficient against Golden Frieza—he had to break into a new realm as soon as possible. The past two years of training had been invaluable for expanding his understanding. Perhaps it was time to attempt the Super Saiyan God transformation.
"Further discussion is pointless now. Frieza is extremely cunning and won't be easy to capture. I think it's better to let events unfold naturally. Let's head back for now," Raditz said, waving to the Realm Kings as he prepared to depart.
"Very well, that's all we can do. Thank you again for everything," the Grand Kai replied gratefully. The other Realm Kings, including Pikkon, saw them off as well.
Just as they were about to use instant transmission, Gogeta suddenly trembled and split back into two people!
Goku and Vegeta stared at each other in bewilderment, still recovering from the fusion's dissolution.
"What happened? Wasn't it supposed to last thirty minutes? Time isn't up yet, right?" Goku scratched his head in confusion, looking to Raditz for answers.
Vegeta snorted coldly. "Better that it lasted less than ten minutes—saves me from sharing a body with you any longer!"
"But fusion really does provide incredible power. I think Gogeta could even beat my brother!"
"Naturally!" Vegeta replied, turning halfway around.
Goku still couldn't understand why Vegeta was so resistant to fusing with him. However, he also felt it would be best to reach higher levels through personal strength—fusion was ultimately just an auxiliary method.
Watching them bicker, Raditz found it amusing. After a moment, he explained: "Your fusion strength is indeed tremendous, but precisely because the energy is so intense, the duration is greatly shortened. What should be a thirty-minute fusion might only last five to ten minutes at your power levels."
"So that's what happened," Goku said with sudden understanding.
Vegeta remained silent but secretly agreed.
"Since we've separated anyway, let's return and discuss this further. Compared to fusion, there might be another transformation more suitable for you!"
"Another kind?" Both Goku and Vegeta looked startled.
Raditz smiled without elaborating, deliberately maintaining mystery. While fusion dramatically increased power, its disadvantages were obvious.
First, two fighters became one. Second, the time limit was severely reduced at Super Saiyan 3 levels. Third, the personality conflicts after fusion were difficult to resolve.
Super Saiyan God was different—it represented a pure leap in dimensional power!
Achieving godhood at the Super Saiyan level might not match fusion initially, but as strength increased, the benefits of entering the divine realm would become increasingly apparent.
Raditz even harbored an ambitious idea: make every Saiyan a god!
Goku and Vegeta, still puzzled, returned to Earth with Raditz.
The disaster had passed and the dead had returned. With Rukon's Dragon Balls, everything on Earth and throughout the universe had been restored to its original state. People who had witnessed the chaos once again marveled at the miracle.
Raditz gathered all the Saiyans from Earth to the temple, preparing to attempt the Super Saiyan God transformation!
The Saiyans currently on Earth included Raditz, Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Nappa, Tarble, Pepara, Zucara, three children, and the enigmatic Broly.
Not only had their numbers grown, but after years of living on Earth, most had adapted to—or even grown to love—this peaceful rhythm, especially Vegeta.
Counting these later-arriving adult Saiyans, which one didn't have a spouse on Earth and a settled life?
In the recent battle, these very Saiyans had been the main force eliminating villains and protecting the world. Even Nappa had changed dramatically, while Pepara had matured considerably. From this perspective, the time was right for everyone to ascend to godhood!
With this consideration in mind, Raditz revealed the secret of the red-haired god to everyone. Legends from ancient times, higher realms, greater power, and the very word "God" itself—how could such things not stir their hearts?
"Super... Super Saiyan... God?"
"Am I hearing this right? Saiyans can become gods too?" Pepara exclaimed repeatedly, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Even Vegeta couldn't restrain his inner excitement. "Is this the other path you mentioned?"
"It was a transformation developed by a small number of righteous-hearted Saiyans in the distant past to resist the rule of evil Saiyans. Five Saiyans with pure hearts channel their energy into a sixth Saiyan's heart, allowing him to ascend to the divine realm temporarily and obtain tremendous power."
"Incredible..." Tarble stood stunned. "Wait, Master, aren't Super Saiyan God and Supreme Kai both gods? Aren't you already in the divine realm?"
To ordinary people, all gods seemed the same—there appeared to be no difference. Everyone knew Raditz held the rank of apprentice Supreme Kai. If so, wasn't he already divine?
Raditz shook his head with a smile. "It's different. Divine ranks relate to life dimensions, while realms concern personal energy levels. For example, Piccolo was once Earth's guardian deity—his dimension was lower than a Supreme Kai's, but his realm was higher than most Supreme Kai."
"I see now," Tarble said with sudden understanding.
"Hmph, Supreme Kai aren't all that impressive," Vegeta snorted disdainfully.
"That's not entirely fair—everyone has their specialties. Supreme Kai are responsible for creation and protection, so they don't require overwhelming strength. If someone too powerful disrupts universal order, Gods of Destruction intervene. But those are supreme deities who possess both divine realm and divine dimension."
"Gods of Destruction..." Everyone gasped in unison.
Years ago, they'd heard that Raditz trained with a God of Destruction and Angel in the Sixth Universe. After three years, he'd returned with such terrifying strength. Anyone capable of teaching Raditz had to be even more powerful.
"Oh, by the way, even Super Saiyan God isn't a match for Gods of Destruction. There are vast differences between gods," Raditz added, glancing at Goku. The two had never actually fought.
"Enough talk about how strong Super Saiyan God is—show me by transforming!" Vegeta clenched his fists, sweat beading on his forehead despite his eager expression.
Similarly, Goku looked at Raditz expectantly. Saiyans always yearned for power, and with such a clear goal before him, how could he not be intrigued?
If possible, he wanted to battle against his brother's divine realm personally!
"Of course—I'm preparing to become a god right now."
Raditz responded to Vegeta with a smile, stepping forward as his long hair flowed behind him.
