The appearance order arranged by the lottery was random. Except that people from the major galaxies weren't arranged to meet in the first round, there was no pattern to follow for the rest. Nappa was drawn for the last group, far from everyone else, and had been waiting boredly for a long time before his turn came.
He couldn't wait to show his strength in front of Ariel and had been pumping himself up for ages in preparation. He'd even thought about his victory pose and was just waiting for the moment to strike it.
At this point, the North Galaxy was still undefeated, maintaining their perfect record of everyone advancing.
The major galaxies had nothing to say—what could they say in the face of such overwhelmingly strong guys? Nappa, who appeared last, was tall and imposing, wearing a standard Saiyan battle suit and showing unparalleled arrogance. At first glance, he clearly wasn't ordinary!
They could tell these people wearing combat uniforms were all fighters from the same group. Looking back at these people's battles, they often ended easily, demonstrating their strength. Nappa was even taller and bigger, so people from all galaxies speculated about his fearsome power while silently mourning for whoever would face him.
"The last one is Nappa. Really unlucky for whoever faces him." Krillin put his hands behind his head and smiled broadly.
Raditz shook his head. "Not necessarily. If he meets 'him,' it would be a disaster."
"Him?"
Krillin asked, puzzled.
In Krillin's eyes, there weren't many people who could compete with Nappa, and they were all in the North Galaxy's preparation area—there weren't enough people outside worth worrying about! He was very clear about Nappa's dedication, spending more time training than anyone else. Of course, that was before Nappa started chasing girls...
Even if he'd been slacking off recently, it wouldn't be "disastrous," right? Krillin looked at Raditz, then at Goku, and saw both their faces were serious, not relaxed at all.
Their eyes were all fixed on the same person—the green-skinned stranger who had just appeared: Pikkon!
Pikkon was long overdue. After arriving, he asked the West Kai and Grand Kai for instructions, then directly joined the last group of battles. Who knew if the West Kai had done this on purpose, but Pikkon finally appeared.
At this point, Vegeta also came over. "When did that person show up? The aura around him is so strange."
"There's a halo on his head—is he dead?" Goku asked.
"Doesn't matter whether he's dead or not. What matters is he's not someone Nappa can handle." Raditz's gaze passed through the crowd and projected to the ring, meeting Pikkon's eyes. The two looked at each other with serious expressions.
His gaze shifted, then Pikkon turned sideways and walked toward his opponent. His opponent was Nappa!
"As expected, Nappa's in danger." Goku said solemnly.
"Wait, you all think Nappa can't beat that green guy?"
Krillin was a bit flustered, his heart full of doubts. Was the unremarkable-looking Pikkon really that strong?
Raditz didn't answer, just quietly watched Nappa and Pikkon, waiting for the battle to begin.
On the field, Nappa faced Pikkon, and the two showed completely different states. To impress Ariel, Nappa was pumping himself up and eager to start, constantly loosening his muscles to show off his physique. But Pikkon was as quiet as the sky, standing there motionless.
The Grand Kai smashed down with his hammer, and the gong sounded.
The battle begins!
Nappa immediately entered a state of alertness. Although confident, he could tell his opponent wasn't ordinary and had to use full strength from the start. Clenching his fists, a surge of aura suddenly erupted from Nappa's body, enveloping the entire arena under his pressure.
"Hmph, hasn't he learned to control his power to a reasonable range?" Vegeta snorted disdainfully.
"Yeah, his opponent won't be affected at all." Goku also made his assessment.
Sure enough, under the turbulent energy waves, Pikkon remained motionless. The hem of his outfit was as solid as cast iron under Nappa's aura, quietly hanging at his side.
Nappa was suddenly startled—this guy was terrifying!
The moment he made this judgment, he took the initiative to attack. Not daring to be careless at all, he exerted full strength. A layer of white light condensed on his fist, forming an air blade that overflowed with light when he swung it.
Huge pressure rushed forward, but Pikkon remained unchanged and lightly extended one hand.
"Slap!"
With a light motion, Pikkon spread his five fingers to catch Nappa's attack and directly neutralized it into nothing. The pressure immediately reversed like a flood, making Nappa involuntarily retreat!
"How is that possible?" Nappa looked at Pikkon in disbelief, then at his own hands, his Adam's apple bobbing.
Besides Raditz and the other Super Saiyans, there were actually characters far superior to him?! Nappa suddenly felt shocked and temporarily gave up the idea of attacking.
If he wouldn't attack, Pikkon would.
Pikkon slowly descended to the ground, raised his leg, and flew toward him. The speed that seemed manageable suddenly changed mid-air, and his figure disappeared along with his shadow. Nappa carefully sensed the flow of ki, looking around. In no time, sweat was pouring down his head.
His opponent was strong, but he couldn't lose—Ariel was still watching. He couldn't lose in the first round!
No way!
"There!" Nappa, who was concentrating intensely, suddenly yelled and released a ki attack to the side. The figure of Pikkon was hit by the ki attack, and Nappa was overjoyed. In the next second, the ki attack passed through Pikkon's body and flew toward the corner of the ring.
Nappa realized something was wrong—what he'd hit was just an afterimage.
Where was Pikkon? Invisible.
Suddenly a chill rushed from the soles of his feet to his head. Nappa felt weak and burst out with aura for no reason, trying to intimidate his opponent. But Pikkon wasn't afraid at all. He appeared in front of Nappa at such high speed that Nappa was already being hit just as he realized what happened.
Pikkon kicked Nappa with more than a dozen strikes in succession without even touching the ground, like a storm sweeping through.
The final kick came powerfully from bottom to top, launching Nappa's strong body high into the air. Then Pikkon flew up and smashed down hard, knocking Nappa to the ground.
The movements were crisp and clean, flowing like water.
Nappa was blasted directly out of the arena, smashing a deep hole in the sidelines. And Pikkon said nothing, silently returning to the West Galaxy's preparation area with equal confidence.
"Nappa... lost?" The North Galaxy fighters in the spectator area and preparation area, including King Kai on the high platform, exclaimed in unison.
Their expressions changed from shock to disbelief.
Only Super Saiyans like Raditz could see the gap in strength—Pikkon's power was truly awe-inspiring. It was precisely because the West Kai had the trump card of Pikkon that he'd dared propose this tournament. Everything was reversing from here.
The North Galaxy legend was over—one person was out!
