"What a meaningful home visit."
In the real world, Kitagawa Minamoto slowly opened his eyes.
He glanced at Naruto, whose eyes remained tightly shut, his expression a curious mixture of pain and happiness.
Kitagawa Minamoto nodded in satisfaction, especially after witnessing Kushina land a solid punch on Naruto's head just before he emerged.
"This counts as making up for his lost childhood, doesn't it?"
Kitagawa Minamoto nodded contentedly, feeling rather noble about his actions.
Giving Naruto a taste of a "complete" childhood experience wasn't such a bad thing after all!
"Senpai, is everything resolved?" Karin's timid voice broke the silence.
Kitagawa Minamoto stood up, smiling as he nodded. "It's resolved. Thanks for your hard work."
"It's nothing!" Karin replied cheerfully.
Kitagawa Minamoto stroked his chin thoughtfully before speaking again. "I think I've found a teacher for you—someone even better suited than Tsunade."
"Huh?" Karin looked puzzled, but Kitagawa Minamoto merely chuckled.
He placed his hands on Naruto and Karin, and in an instant, they appeared in Naruto's apartment.
"Please inform the Hokage that Naruto's Chakra has awakened. Be sure to clarify it's not the Nine-Tails; they'll understand."
"Oh." Karin nodded, though clearly confused.
Kitagawa Minamoto paused for a moment before adding: "Also, ask the Hokage to bring Inoichi-san. His techniques should help you and the others enter Naruto's mental world smoothly."
"Huh?" Karin looked bewildered.
Entering Naruto's mental world? What did that mean?
Still, she didn't question it further and simply nodded, then curiously glanced at Naruto.
"What's wrong with him?"
"Him?" Kitagawa Minamoto chuckled, observing Naruto's mixed expression of pain and joy.
"He's probably experiencing a 'complete childhood.'"
"..."
Karin didn't quite understand what Kitagawa Minamoto meant by "complete childhood," especially given Naruto's strange expression.
But she trusted that whatever it was, it had to be a good thing!
"By the way, Senpai, where are you headed?"
"What comes next isn't suitable for me to participate in, but it's perfect for you."
Kitagawa Minamoto shrugged.
He genuinely felt his presence was no longer necessary.
The meeting between the younger and older generations wasn't something he needed to be involved in, especially now that he had received his reward. It was time to focus on other matters.
"Asura's Chakra, huh? Not bad."
Recently, Kitagawa Minamoto had been collecting primarily Yin Release Chakra and Tailed Beast Chakra compatible with the Divine Tree.
He found himself reminiscing about the days when he exclusively gathered Yang Release Chakra.
Now, he finally had another opportunity.
Though all the Chakra he collected contributed to his development, there were still subtle differences in compatibility.
"Remember what I told you. I'm off to train."
"Oh."
Karin nodded blankly, while Kitagawa Minamoto vanished on the spot.
In the next moment, he arrived at a training ground in Konohagakure.
After ensuring no one was around, he created a Divine Tree clone.
"You'll stay here to practice Wood Release and continue refining Storm Release."
"Got it. Be careful on the moon."
"Shouldn't be a problem. I'm heading out now."
With another surge of Chakra, Kitagawa Minamoto vanished once again.
When he reappeared, he found himself in a secluded valley.
Looking up, he directed his gaze toward the sky.
It was still daytime, and though he could feel the power emanating from the moon, he refrained from acting hastily.
"Once the moon rises, I'll activate the Tenseigan's power to send me up there."
He thought to himself as he walked deeper into the valley.
He had discovered that the passages connecting the moon and the ninja world weren't limited to just one.
The path Naruto and his friends had used in the original timeline was merely one of many.
Kitagawa Minamoto had chosen the one closest to him!
"This should be the place. Now then..."
After surveying the area and glancing at the sky once more, Kitagawa Minamoto nodded before sitting down cross-legged.
With some time left before the moon rose, he decided to absorb the Yang Release Chakra he had obtained from Naruto.
Meanwhile, in Naruto's mental space, the scene had grown unexpectedly crowded.
Hiruzen Sarutobi, Kakashi, and Jiraiya, who had just returned from Mount Myōboku, were all staring in disbelief at Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki.
Tsunade and Inoichi Yamanaka looked equally dazed.
Especially Inoichi, who hadn't anticipated such an extraordinary turn of events.
"The Fourth Hokage..."
He swallowed hard, then turned to glance at the other side, where Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju stood.
"The First and Second Hokage?"
He felt as though the world had gone mad.
How were all these deceased figures suddenly appearing?
Still, he dared not voice his thoughts.
Meanwhile, Hashirama and Tobirama were scrutinizing Minato.
"So that's the Fourth Hokage?"
"So young. Died too early, huh."
"If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!"
"Tch, I'm just happy the village made it to the Fourth Hokage."
"He's already dead..."
Tobirama looked pained as he glanced at his brother, wondering why he was so tactless.
Elsewhere, Naruto rubbed his forehead and curiously looked at Karin.
"How did you get in here too? And who are all these people?"
"Senpai told me to come," Karin replied with a slight huff before glancing curiously at Naruto.
"Why do you look so miserable?"
"It's all because of that bastard Minamoto!"
Naruto groaned, rubbing his head.
He had discovered that his mother's temper was quite fiery.
But for some reason, he felt incredibly happy despite it all.
Yet whenever he thought of Kitagawa Minamoto, he couldn't help but grimace.
"Damn it—is this what he calls a home visit? I ended up getting beaten!"
"You dare complain?!"
Before Naruto could finish, Kushina's voice rang out furiously from afar.
"Once I've settled everything here, I'll deal with you properly!"
"..."
Naruto fell silent, while Minato broke into a cold sweat.
Even Jiraiya swallowed nervously.
Kushina's personality hadn't changed one bit.
"Inoichi, please take care of those two young ones for now."
Hiruzen Sarutobi rubbed his temple.
He could guess Kitagawa Minamoto's purpose for bringing Karin into the mental space, but he had more pressing matters to address.
"Minato, it's been a long time. Over a decade has passed in the blink of an eye. Back then, I—"
"Third Hokage-sama, it's not your fault. It was my choice."
Minato shook his head, smiling as he spoke.
"And things are fine now. Minamoto stabilized both Kushina's and my Chakra, so we can spend time with Naruto."
"Sensei..."
Kakashi was visibly emotional, opening his mouth but unable to find the words.
Jiraiya sighed.
"Minato, perhaps I shouldn't have left Konohagakure back then. And as for that masked man, we—"
"Yes, Minamoto mentioned it—Obito, right?"
Minato sighed, already aware of the situation.
"I never expected it to be him. His transformation is truly regrettable. And I've heard they seem to have other motives."
"Indeed, their motives remain unknown, but their organization is filled with rogue ninjas."
Jiraiya nodded, his expression grim.
"We still don't fully understand their plans, but they pose a great threat to the ninja world."
"Apart from that, there's another major danger."
At that moment, Tobirama spoke up.
"There's someone named Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki who is exceptionally dangerous. While we haven't confronted him directly, his target is the Tailed Beasts."
"The Tailed Beasts..."
Minato and Kushina's faces darkened as they glanced at Naruto, who was with Inoichi and Karin.
"Yes, that man has already attacked the Fire Temple, where remnants of the Nine-Tails' Chakra were present."
Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded gravely, while Jiraiya added:
"Additionally, the Great Toad Sage informed me that he attacked Kumogakure, likely targeting the Eight-Tails and Two-Tails. So..."
Jiraiya trailed off, but his meaning was clear.
"I understand. Perhaps this is another reason why Minamoto preserved our Chakra."
Minato sighed, though he quickly shifted his focus to Kakashi.
"Kakashi, you've done well, raising such an outstanding student!"
"Minamoto has always been exceptional."
Though there was always trouble surrounding Kitagawa Minamoto, Kakashi couldn't help but smile when discussing him.
"Indeed, we always thought he'd be the next you."
Jiraiya laughed heartily, though his laughter soon faded.
"Except his personality is far too mischievous..."
"And somewhat extreme at times."
Hiruzen Sarutobi added, while Hashirama nodded in agreement.
Tobirama, however, scoffed:
"Nonsense. I don't see anything mischievous or extreme about him!"
Minato and Kushina quickly bowed to Hashirama and Tobirama.
Though they had recognized them earlier, other matters had taken precedence.
Now, they politely greeted the two legendary figures.
"No need to be so formal. Seeing you both makes me happy—it shows Konohagakure's legacy is strong. It's just a pity..."
Hashirama waved his hand with a smile, though Tobirama interrupted him:
"Stop rambling, you fool. Konohagakure's legacy will only grow stronger!"
"Is he referring to Minamoto?"
Minato and Kushina exchanged glances, surprised by the dynamic between the First and Second Hokage.
Still, Tobirama's words clarified much for them.
"Yes, but he'll need more time."
Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded painfully, while Kakashi sighed.
Jiraiya and Hashirama rubbed their temples, while Tobirama remained indifferent.
Minato chuckled at the sight.
"It seems Konohagakure truly has a bright future."
"Indeed, though..."
Before Minato could finish, Kushina interjected:
"Now that we've discussed the important matters, and while Minato and I will do our best to guide Naruto, there's something else we need to address—Kakashi, Jiraiya-sensei."
"Hmm?"
Kakashi and Jiraiya looked puzzled, but Kushina's expression darkened.
"Kakashi, what do you mean by 'the worst class you've ever taught'?"
"I..."
"Jiraiya-sensei, why are you making Naruto perform Sexy Jutsu all the time?"
"Huh? Uh..."
"Third Hokage-sama, why is Naruto's academic performance less than ideal?"
"Um? I already..."
"How exactly are you teaching children?! No wonder Minamoto said Konohagakure's education system has issues—it's all your fault!"
"???"
Hiruzen Sarutobi, Jiraiya, and Kakashi were dumbfounded.
Watching Kushina's fiery red hair swirl around her like living flames, they all shared the same thought:
"Damn it, is this what they call the villain accusing first?!"
Meanwhile, in the valley, Kitagawa Minamoto slowly opened his eyes.
His gaze shifted to the silver moon now visible in the darkening sky.
"It's time to set out."
