"Orochimaru?"
No one knew how long the silence lasted, but suddenly Jiraiya spoke up loudly.
"You're actually here!"
"..."
Orochimaru stared silently at Jiraiya, feeling particularly annoyed.
He couldn't understand why Jiraiya was like a persistent fly, always showing up at the wrong time and place.
Bringing Kimimaro to find Tsunade had been a spur-of-the-moment decision, intended to buy time against Danzō. He hadn't told anyone about it.
Yet somehow, he ended up running into this guy again.
"Fourth Raikage?"
Kakashi was equally wary of Orochimaru. He couldn't forget the feeling of paralysis from Orochimaru's gaze during his defection years ago.
But he wasn't the same person he was back then. With Jiraiya present, he didn't need to worry too much.
Besides, there was another dangerous individual here.
"Hey, why is that guy kneeling on the ground?"
Kitagawa Minamoto's mind was buzzing. He had anticipated encountering Orochimaru, given the warnings from both his "radar" and system.
But he hadn't expected to run into the Fourth Raikage here as well.
"Did they just rob the secret techniques from the Land of Cedars and get punished by the Xuan Saru Group, so they came to ask Tsunade for help?"
As the "source of intelligence," Minamoto quickly pieced things together. Kakashi, beside him, whispered a warning.
"Be careful. These Kumogakure people, even the Fourth Raikage, are here. They must be seeking Tsunade-sama for something."
"Hmph!"
The Fourth Raikage snorted coldly, feeling bewildered by the chaotic scene before him.
"Jiraiya, Kakashi, a kid? And Orochimaru, with Tsunade?"
Were these Konohagakure people having a class reunion here?
Wait, wasn't Orochimaru a defector?
And Tsunade hadn't returned to Konohagakure in ages. What's going on here?
The Raikage was perplexed but decided to wait and see what was happening.
"Orochimaru, I was just looking for you!"
Jiraiya felt the situation was tricky, but finding Tsunade and even running into Orochimaru was a stroke of luck for him.
"You..."
"Shut up!"
Orochimaru anticipated Jiraiya's usual "come back to Konohagakure with me" spiel and cut him off.
"Why are you always so naive, and why do you always irritate me?
No matter what you say, there are things I must do!"
Jiraiya didn't care; he stared intently at Orochimaru.
After all, Danzō's investigation pointed to Orochimaru, who was part of that mysterious organization. Running into him was too good an opportunity to pass up!
"Let's see if you have the skills to back it up..."
Orochimaru's gaze was like a snake eyeing its prey. He raised his hand abruptly.
"Ninja Art: Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!"
Countless venomous snakes shot out from his sleeves, lunging at Jiraiya. But Jiraiya seemed to anticipate this, his hair covering his body.
"Ninja Art: Needle Jizō!"
The snakes collided with his hair, and he quickly formed another seal, his hair turning into blades aimed at Orochimaru.
Orochimaru dodged, taking Kimimaro with him as he dashed out of the room. He knew a fight was inevitable with Jiraiya, and a cramped room wasn't suitable for his techniques!
"Wait for me. I'll handle Orochimaru, and be sure to watch those guys."
Jiraiya reminded them before chasing after Orochimaru.
Outside the bar, the sounds of battle erupted instantly!
"What's happening?"
"What's going on?"
The residents nearby were in an uproar, their footsteps echoing everywhere.
"Get out of here!"
"There's trouble; everyone run!"
Without needing to look, Minamoto and the others knew the entire street was in chaos. Ninja battles were perilous for civilians.
Even the bar owner didn't dare collect payment, joining the fleeing crowd outside.
"Tsunade-sama..."
Kakashi grew anxious, turning to Tsunade, who seemed a bit dazed.
"Aren't you going to intervene?"
"Intervene?"
Tsunade seemed to sober up a bit. She glanced at Kakashi, then outside, before shaking her head.
"This is their business. I won't and don't want to get involved."
"But Orochimaru..."
"I said, it's their business."
Tsunade shook her head, dismissing Kakashi's concerns.
Orochimaru hadn't yet enacted his plan to destroy Konohagakure, hadn't killed Hiruzen Sarutobi, nor used Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation to provoke her.
Her attitude towards Orochimaru wasn't great, but it wasn't hostile enough to warrant immediate action.
With Jiraiya joining in, she was even less inclined to interfere.
"But why has Orochimaru come? Could it be..."
Tsunade's expression turned peculiar as she remembered the white-haired boy beside Orochimaru.
Though the boy seemed fine, Tsunade, as a medical ninja, immediately noticed his troubling condition.
"Irregular heartbeat, physical weakness, yet strong Chakra. Sustained by medication to maintain life?"
Tsunade shook her head, suspecting another request for treatment. She turned to Kakashi.
"So, what brings you here?"
"Tsunade-sama, we're here to ask you to return."
Kakashi spoke softly, while Minamoto nodded in agreement.
"Yes, Tsunade-sama. Mainly because Kakashi-sensei spends ten days to half a month in the hospital after every mission, and the Hokage is dissatisfied with Konohagakure's medical system, so..."
"..."
Kakashi seemed momentarily speechless, his gaze shifting to Minamoto. Fortunately, the Fourth Raikage spoke up.
"I don't care what you're planning. I was here first, and I won't take up much of your time."
"Tch, who would've thought so many big shots would show up in one day."
Tsunade raised an eyebrow, surprised by the unexpected events of an ordinary day.
"The Raikage, that idiot Jiraiya, and even Orochimaru showed up. You guys are interesting. But why are you so sure I'd go with you?"
"Because whether you agree or not, I'll make you. Even if I have to use force!"
The Fourth Raikage spoke coldly, his words making Kakashi tense and Tsunade raise an eyebrow.
"Use force? You think you're talking to?"
"Really?"
The Raikage's eyes shifted, and he cracked his neck before moving suddenly.
"Then I won't hold back!"
The Fourth Raikage wasn't inclined to waste time. He hadn't expected so much trouble just trying to find Tsunade.
The sounds of battle outside indicated Jiraiya and Orochimaru were fighting fiercely. It wasn't the time to delay.
He planned to take Tsunade by force and deal with the rest later!
"Watch out!"
Kakashi's eyes widened as he moved to block the Raikage, while Tsunade frowned, her Chakra surging instantly.
Buzz—
But to their surprise, a figure suddenly appeared before them, purple lightning erupting in an instant!
Boom—
With a deafening roar, the entire bar collapsed, dust and debris filling the air!
Whoosh—
Moments later, several figures emerged from the dust, the Fourth Raikage staring curiously at the young man before him.
"Purple lightning, huh? Rare, but seems powerful."
As Raikage, his sensitivity to Lightning Release was high, and he could sense the strength of the purple lightning.
This kid had used it defensively to block him, even if his attack had been rushed, he was confident in his power.
"Is Konohagakure out of people, sending a kid to face me?"
Though wary, the Raikage maintained his pride as a Kage.
"Let Kakashi deal with me; you're not enough!"
"Is it possible Kakashi-sensei thinks I'm enough to handle you?"
Without further ado, Minamoto dashed forward, meeting the Raikage head-on!
The Fourth Raikage was a rare master of Lightning Release and had once faced Minato Namikaze.
Minamoto wasn't about to miss the chance to fight such an opponent!
He could attack or retreat as needed; no one could match his escape skills at this stage.
"Hmph! If you're seeking death..."
The Raikage snorted, watching Minamoto charge at him. Blue Chakra flared around him as he moved!
Boom—
In an instant, blue and purple figures collided, the impact sending a visible shockwave outward!
Crack—
In that moment, the surrounding buildings cracked, some collapsing entirely.
Beneath them, the ground shattered under the force of their Chakra, cracks spreading outward!
"Not bad strength."
The Raikage frowned, sensing Minamoto's unusual abilities.
Both the purple lightning and the boy's speed and strength intrigued him, making him all the more excited.
"But it's a shame, such an interesting kid facing me..."
As he spoke, the Raikage's Chakra intensified. The blue lightning enveloped him completely, his presence growing more formidable!
"Then I won't hold back!"
"Hmm, I wanted to say the same thing."
Minamoto nodded, his aura shifting.
Red eye markings appeared on his face, and his eyes turned white!
Seeing those eyes, even the Raikage hesitated. What was going on?
What was with this kid's eyes and Chakra?
Before he could figure it out, Minamoto's voice rang out again.
"Then I won't hold back!"
