Chapter 73 - "Night Dragon vs. Raging Howl."

The whole top of Conglong's head was caved in. A huge fist imprint was clearly visible, with dragon scales shattered everywhere. It was a horrific sight. His body spiraled out of control and crashed to earth like a meteor.

The moment he hit, the ground trembled violently. Cracks and craters spread in all directions—it was like a magnitude 13 earthquake had just struck.

"Lord Conglong!"All the dragonkin gasped in horror.Lord Conglong got sent flying... with zero chance to fight back?!

That strength... was terrifying beyond belief!

"BOOM——!"Suddenly, another explosion rang out. Riku had vanished again and reappeared high above the crater. Like a falling star wrapped in deep red energy, he dove down and punched, blasting through the sky. A white shockwave exploded downward, smashing toward Conglong in the pit.

"ROAAARRRR——!"Dizzy and disoriented, Conglong finally came to. He looked up, roared, and gathered a surge of energy in his mouth before unleashing a towering beam straight at the incoming punch.

"BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!"

The attacks collided with a deafening explosion that shook the entire realm. The world itself seemed to quake under the force.

The ground beneath Conglong buckled again, unable to withstand the sheer impact.

In the end, the white energy punch actually overpowered Conglong's breath and slammed into him once more.

Though the impact was greatly reduced this time, Conglong managed to defend against it.

But right then, Riku teleported above him, twisted into a brutal axe kick, and came crashing down with insane force.

"SPLAT——!"

Even with spatial manipulation and energy shields, Conglong couldn't stop it. The space shattered, energy barriers were torn apart, and everything in the way was annihilated. The blow landed full force, driving Conglong back into the earth. Blood gushed out, and a deep gash tore across his head.

"CRACK——!"Then came a chilling sound—Riku had kicked off one of Conglong's dragon horns.

"Explode!"Conglong roared and unleashed the dragonkin's ultimate weapon: word magic. In an instant, everything around them erupted in violent explosions.

Even Zhu Yue and the others, watching from a million meters away, had to join forces to block the shockwaves. If they hadn't, their entire base would've been obliterated.

But even that word magic didn't kill Riku—it only knocked him away.

Taking the chance, Conglong rewound time again to heal himself, then flew into the sky and stared grimly at Riku in the distance.

Too strong... I almost died.

Then, the battle between man and dragon exploded into full fury again, ripping the sky and earth apart. Massive shockwaves rippled out from the battlefield, and Zhu Yue and the others watched in stunned silence.

The only Dragon King alive—their master—was actually getting beaten in a head-on fight with Riku!

So this is your trump card? Seriously… it's insane.

Zhu Yue's dragon eyes shimmered. His heart was in complete turmoil, waves of emotions crashing inside—he couldn't calm down.

But unleashing that kind of power must come at a price. How long can you even hold out for...?

Zhu Yue sighed to himself.

"As expected of my Master. He's actually got that smart-ass dragon on the ropes. This is the kind of person I should be serving—full of infinite potential. Just when I thought he'd hit his limit, he pulls out even more power!" Jibril's eyes sparkled, her voice full of excitement and obsession.

Zhu Bi didn't say a word. She just silently watched the battlefield, her eyes constantly flickering with data.

Right then, Riku suddenly exploded with even more power, shattering space around him. He used a terrifying barrage of air cannons to pin down Conglong.

Five air blasts crushed the space and hit Conglong from five directions, completely locking him in place.

And that wasn't even the worst of it—because space had been blown apart, the resulting spatial turbulence surged everywhere, making it impossible for Conglong to even slip into a dimensional space to escape.

"Heh… truly limitless potential," Conglong muttered, dragon eyes glowing.

"But I'm not going down that easy!"

His gaze sharpened again. Suddenly, a terrifying force exploded from his entire body. The air cannon seals around him began to tremble. Then, in his gaping maw, an overwhelming energy began to build—far more terrifying than anything he'd unleashed before.

"Night Dragon!" At the same moment, Riku let out a mighty roar. He pushed his power to the absolute limit, and the red flames around his body suddenly took the shape of a massive Eastern dragon. The dragon stomped through the shattered space, charging straight toward Conglong with a devastating kick.

Everything in its path—air, space, reality itself—was ripped to shreds.

At the same time, Conglong let out a ferocious roar of his own.

"BOOM—!!"

A violent energy blast burst out of Conglong's mouth, blasting straight through the restraints of the air cannons and firing directly at Riku.

This… was the ultimate move of the Dragon Essence Species—Collapse Roar.

Collapse Roar was a desperate, all-or-nothing attack. Usually, any Dragon Essence that used it would die right after. Even if a rare one survived, it would be completely drained, and unable to recover for a long time. The consequences were brutal.

But now, backed into a corner by Riku, Conglong—Leijin Leivi—didn't care anymore. He had to win. The urge to not lose had spread through his heart like wildfire.

How many years had it been since he'd even felt that kind of competitiveness?

Under the stunned gaze of every Dragon Essence watching, the massive red Eastern dragon and the Collapse Roar clashed.

In an instant, the entire sky and earth turned white. Everything disappeared. Space shattered like glass.

A wave of invisible energy blasted outward. Even Zhu Yue and the others, watching from afar, could barely breathe. All they could do was defend themselves as best they could.

Finally, after a few seconds of the two terrifying forces pushing against each other, the red Eastern dragon suddenly overwhelmed the Collapse Roar, crushing it and sending its fragments raining down like falling stardust—followed by a massive explosion that annihilated everything nearby.

"PFFFT—!!"

Then, with a speed none of the Dragon Essences could even follow, the red dragon pierced right through Conglong's body.

Blood sprayed. Flesh tore apart. It was unbelievably brutal.

Conglong, Leijin Leivi, had been pierced through by Riku's attack—taking the worst injury he'd ever suffered in his entire life.

Right after that, Riku's red aura faded. He and Conglong both plummeted toward the ground.

The world suddenly fell silent. Only the torn space above slowly mended itself...
