Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: The Bear Gets Beaten?

Lin Fan's thousand-yuan lottery bet meant he had to win prizes worth more than a hundred yuan each time to make Da Han lose money.

But could he really do that?

Even with great luck, winning big eleven times in a row seemed impossible.

The crowd watched Lin Fan, thinking he was about to lose everything. If the lottery was that easy, Da Han would've shut down his stall long ago.

Lin Fan scanned the lottery board and started drawing.

First draw: a prize worth 200 yuan!

Da Han's face twitched.

Second draw: a prize worth 150 yuan!

Da Han's expression darkened.

Third draw: a prize worth 350 yuan!

Da Han's face turned black as coal.

Three draws, and Lin Fan had already cost him 400 yuan!

Da Han didn't believe in bad luck. He crossed his arms, glaring at Lin Fan as if daring him to keep going.

Lin Fan was happy to oblige. Draw after draw, he picked prizes worth way more than 100 yuan. The best was a mobility scooter worth 500 yuan!

Da Han looked like he'd swallowed a fly. He was crushed!

Eleven draws, all big wins. What kind of freak was this guy?

With luck like that, why wasn't he buying real lottery tickets instead of hitting up this small stall?

Da Han regretted letting Lin Fan play.

The crowd was stunned.

"This guy's got x-ray eyes or something!"

"He's not just lucky—he's cheating! Eleven wins in a row? Who does that?"

"If he bought lottery tickets, he'd probably win millions!"

"Nah, lotteries are rigged. Small wins, maybe, but big prizes? Dream on!"

Lin Fan grinned at the chatter and pulled out another ten hundred-yuan bills. "Boss, another thousand yuan's worth."

Da Han's legs shook, sweat dripping down his face. He'd already lost months of profits. Another thousand yuan, and he'd lose everything—even his pants!

Wiping his sweat, Da Han pleaded, "Sir, have mercy! I'm just running a small business. I can't take this!"

Lin Fan's smile turned cold. "Now you beg? When you were bullying Xiao Rou, did you listen when she asked you to stop?"

Da Han's eyes widened. Pointing at Lin Fan, he shouted, "I knew it! You're working with that girl to ruin me!"

Lin Fan shrugged. "Ruin you? You're not worth my time."

"Stay away from Xiao Rou, or I'll break your legs."

Lin Fan's tone was fierce. Xiao Rou was his first, and he wouldn't let anyone hurt her.

He grabbed Da Han's wrist. "Now apologize to Xiao Rou and get lost."

But Da Han yanked his arm free and shoved Lin Fan back hard.

Cracking his knuckles, Da Han sneered. "Apologize to her? Who do you think you are?"

He stepped toward Lin Fan, towering over him with a nasty grin. Lin Fan's heart raced as he backed up a few steps.

Da Han laughed louder. "What happened to playing hero? Looks like you're just a kid about to get beat!"

Lin Fan's mind raced. What now? Was he really going to get pummeled?

**[Host in danger detected.]**

**[Host has sold a required item once, earning 1 skill point. Add it now?]**

The System's voice rang out just in time.

Skill points? From selling that formula? Did the System have more tricks up its sleeve?

Lin Fan didn't have time to think. "Add it! Now!"

**[Select an option to add.]**

Options? He had no idea what to pick!

"Just give me something to beat this guy!" he shouted.

**[Ding!]**

**[Skill point used successfully!]**

**[Palm Technique activated!]**

**[1 skill point deducted.]**

A new interface appeared in Lin Fan's mind: **Palm Technique – Beginner**.

Suddenly, his head filled with knowledge about palm strikes. His arms surged with power, like he'd become a martial arts master!
