In a palace every morning the breakfast is different, the weather changes every day, but the people stay the same. Every day the same boredom, the same staff and the complaints from my older siblings, Peter and Lily. Her real name is Elizabeth but that's what people in her inner circle call her. My name is Emily, I'm 15 years old, I'm a princess, the youngest in my family and the one who always stays outside. My siblings are 17 and 19. Lily is the oldest and in 5 months on her 20th birthday she will be crowned Queen of Nova. Peter and I are still in school and he finishes in a year and will go to study. I still have 3 years and then I will go to study too. Since I was little I liked space, it was what connected me to my father, until he died without ever knowing how. When he died I started to lock myself in the attic of our palace and I would look out the window all day and at night the stars through the telescope he got me on my 6th birthday. Since then I promised never to give up astronomy and now I have decided to study and become an astronomer and work at the Nova's observatory. Besides, I have no place here. I am unnecessary, third in line to the throne. Lily never studied and from what I understand she never will, because she will become queen, that is her role as everyone believes. I believe her role is what she wants to be, but because I think that way my siblings and my mom don't like me. I only had my dad and since he died they treat me differently. I am not the typical princess that everyone would expect. I don't love always wearing a dress, giving public speeches and everything that my sister does. I love martial arts, archery, sword fighting, and going on adventures with my best friends, Lucy, George, and Emmanuel. We've been friends for 11 years. We've been together ever since and we don't plan on ever breaking up. EVER!
