Chapter 459 - 459: The Angel’s Judgement

Buzz!

A brilliant golden light erupted from Chiga's palm. Cell stared with his newly formed eyes, his mouth opening and closing in disbelief, as if trying to say "no."

But the only answer he received was a blazing golden energy blast.

With a thunderous explosion, the blast swallowed him whole. In an instant, Cell, still in his infant stage, along with the entire mountain range, was reduced to ashes.

As the smoke faded, Chiga hovered silently above the scorched land. He scanned the desolate earth one last time before vanishing into the sky.

Back at Future Bulma's Capsule Corporation, Vados had also returned, bringing along Future Bulma and a Dende from Namek to summon the Dragon. Behind them floated the seven massive Dragon Orbs, each glowing faintly with sacred light.

The Namekians, having long been shown kindness by Future Bulma, didn't hesitate to lend their Dragon Orbs upon learning Earth was in danger.

Dende had matured, but tear stains still marked his face—remnants from the grief he felt after hearing of his friend Gohan's death.

Now, everything was in place. The summoning could begin at any moment.

But Chiga didn't wait for Trunks to make his wish. Countless lives might soon be restored, and he had no intention of becoming too entangled with the future timeline.

Activating the large time machine, they returned to their original timeline.

When they landed, the area was eerily quiet. This was the lawn of Capsule Corporation—normally, a few attendants would be around, tending to the grounds.

Chiga and Vados turned their gaze in the same direction simultaneously. A figure stood at the center of the lawn—one strikingly similar to Vados, with twin pigtails, wearing deep blue Angelic attire, and wielding a staff identical to hers.

Her lips curled into a sardonic smile. She was the Angel of Universe Eleven—Marcarita.

"Vados," Marcarita began coldly, "as an Angel, you left your universe without permission and even traveled through time with mortals. Do you realize the gravity of your crime?"

Vados's expression darkened. She hadn't expected Marcarita to trace her movements, much less find Earth and catch her in the act of time travel.

She knew she was in the wrong. If Marcarita reported this to the Grand Minister, even an Angel like her would face punishment—possibly being sealed in hibernation for eons.

So, rather than retaliate, Vados remained silent.

Marcarita took that silence as weakness. Her tone grew sharper.

"My dear sister, this isn't a small offense. You understand the consequences. Come quietly, and perhaps the Grand Minister will show leniency."

Vados let out a quiet sigh. Turning to Chiga, she forced a gentle smile.

"Chiga, the time I spent with you was… truly enjoyable. I'm glad we met. I hope our paths cross again someday."

She turned to leave—but before she could take another step, Chiga caught her wrist.

Vados froze and turned back in surprise. His eyes were calm yet unwavering.

"Since you found it so enjoyable," Chiga said softly, "why leave so soon? I was the one who initiated the time travel—this has nothing to do with you."

Vados stared at him, conflicted. She didn't want to go, but she feared what might happen if the Grand Minister's anger reached Earth. His wrath could annihilate the planet—and Chiga along with it. That was something she couldn't bear.

Even so, she shook her head.

"Let it go, Chiga. If I hadn't come to Earth without permission, Marcarita wouldn't have found her way here. You're a being who answers to no one… please, don't bring misfortune upon yourself because of me."

Chiga's gaze hardened.

"Whether it's trouble or not isn't for you to decide. No one's taking you away."

With that, he pulled her back and wrapped an arm around her waist.

Nearby, Lazuli watched the scene without speaking, though she frowned. But she already found Marcarita's arrogant attitude unbearable.

Compared to her, Vados had been kind and approachable. The two had even shared a night together, though Lazuli hadn't realized Vados had quietly left before dawn. Seeing her friend being berated stirred something protective within her.

She placed a hand on her hip and called out,

"What's your problem? Vados is my guest—it's not your place to boss her around!"

Marcarita's expression darkened immediately. As an Angel revered across her universe, she had never been openly insulted by a mortal.

Pointing her staff at Lazuli, she spoke with icy disdain,

"Mortal, I had no intention of lowering myself to your level. But since you insist on disrespect, you shall witness the cost. This planet will vanish for your insolence."

She struck the ground lightly with her staff. Ripples of pale blue light spread outward. The Earth began to quake violently, dark clouds rolling across the sky as lightning tore through the heavens.

In mere seconds, the planet itself seemed on the brink of collapse.

Marcarita's power was enough to reduce Earth to cosmic dust in an instant—but she wanted Lazuli to suffer, to experience the terror of slow, inevitable destruction.

Then her gaze shifted between Chiga, still holding Vados, and Vados herself, who wasn't struggling to break free. A mocking smile crept across her face.

"How amusing," she said coldly. "Vados, could it be that you've developed feelings for a mortal? How scandalous."

Vados bit her lip, unable to answer. Her silence was all the confirmation Marcarita needed.

Chiga's golden eyes narrowed, a soft glow flickering within them.

He released Vados and stepped forward. His long, snow-white hair began to lengthen, flowing wildly behind him. A white, form-fitting coat wrapped his body as silver fur spread across his chest. Silver markings appeared around his eyes, giving him an almost divine presence.

Silver Ki flames erupted around him, instantly dispersing the darkness that had covered the sky.

Marcarita's pupils shrank. As an Angel, she could sense it—the overwhelming, unfathomable energy surging within Chiga's transformed form.

"This power…" she breathed in shock. "You're no mortal… Who—what exactly are you!?"
