"It's good you know that," Vados said smugly. "Ultra Instinct is too powerful, so sometimes it's not easy to control..."
"Oh? Then can you control it now?" Uchiha Chiga asked calmly. "If you can, then return first."
Feeling uneasy under his piercing gaze, Vados quickly nodded and disappeared in a flash, clearly escaping rather than leaving with dignity.
A short while later, everyone gathered in the living room for breakfast. Despite her antics from the night before, Vados now acted completely composed, as though nothing had happened. No one could tell she had tried a "night raid" on Chiga's room.
Halfway through breakfast, Chiga's golden eyes flickered slightly. He set his bowl and chopsticks down and said evenly,
"They're here—those two are causing trouble again."
The atmosphere instantly grew tense.
Trunks clenched his fists. "You mean those two androids, right? They never give this world a break."
Bulma slammed her fist on the table. "How infuriating! We have to put an end to them this time!"
Lazuli gave her a sidelong look, arms crossed. "You should stay here. Wouldn't want you getting caught in the crossfire."
Bulma frowned. "How could that happen? With Chiga and Vados here, they won't even stand a chance!"
Vados took an elegant sip of coffee, her expression serene and confident. Just that calm posture was enough to reassure everyone.
Future Bulma looked between Chiga and Vados, and her anxiety eased.
Chiga rose from his seat. A spark of light glimmered in his eyes, and a swirling black portal formed at his feet.
"All right, everyone. If you're coming, let's move. A little exercise won't hurt."
Without hesitation, he stepped through a portal. Vados followed gracefully, and the rest hurried in after them.
They emerged into a wasteland of ruin. The ground was littered with debris—shattered buildings, twisted metal, and lifeless bodies. It looked like a scene straight out of hell.
Bulma and Lazuli froze, shocked by the sheer devastation.
Trunks's hands trembled with rage. "Those two monsters! How much more are they going to destroy before they're satisfied?!"
Golden light burst around him, his hair rising as he ascended into Super Saiyan form.
Future Bulma sighed heavily and placed a hand on his shoulder.
Before she could speak, a mocking voice echoed from above.
"Yo, Trunks! Back for another beating? And this time, you even brought friends!"
Trunks's head snapped up. Floating in the air were Android 17 and Android 18—the androids of the future.
Android 17 sneered, while beside him, Android 18 held a flying car effortlessly in one hand. Inside sat a terrified family of three. The man slumped lifelessly over the wheel—already dead.
In the backseat, a trembling mother clutched her child desperately, pleading,
"Please! Do whatever you want to me, but spare my daughter!"
Future Lazuli rolled her eyes. "Ugh, so noisy. I'm tired of listening to you—just shut up already."
A glowing Ki orb formed in her hand, ready to erase them.
Then, from below, an angry voice roared,
"That's enough, you disgusting monster!"
Whoosh!
A blur shot upward. Everyone expected Trunks—but the one who launched herself skyward was Lazuli herself.
Seeing her future counterpart, Lazuli's expression twisted in disgust. She wanted to personally erase this twisted version of herself.
Before the blast could strike the car, Chiga simply snapped his fingers. The vehicle vanished from Future Lazuli's hand and reappeared safely beside him.
Both Future Lapis and Lazuli stared in confusion, momentarily frozen.
Seizing the chance, Lazuli's fist slammed into her future self's face. The impact sent Future Lazuli hurtling through the clouds.
Future Lapis blinked in disbelief. "You... you're identical! What's going on? Are you also an android?"
Lazuli didn't answer. She charged straight at him, firing an energy blast. He blocked it with crossed arms, grimacing as the explosion forced him backward.
Feeling his numbed limbs, Future Lapis muttered, "Her power... she's an android too—but she's even stronger than Android 18. What the hell is happening?"
He barely lowered his arms before another glowing sphere of energy came flying. Dodging aside, he felt the air sizzle from the near miss.
Lazuli deflected the attack with a swift swing of her arm, her eyes cold and sharp as she glared up at her enraged counterpart bursting through the clouds.
Future Lazuli's expression was twisted with fury. A red bruise marked her cheek where the punch had landed.
"You miserable copy! I'll rip you apart piece by piece!" she screamed, firing a wild barrage of energy blasts.
Lazuli's eyes narrowed. "Funny, I was just thinking the same thing."
Their attacks collided midair, beams crossing with violent force.
BOOM—BOOM—BOOM!
Explosions thundered across the sky, shredding the clouds. The entire ruined city echoed with the roar of their duel.
When the exchange finally ceased, both figures darted toward each other again. The collision released another massive shockwave, leveling what few structures remained.
They locked arms, straining against one another, their mirrored faces filled with defiance and fury.
Future Lazuli hissed through gritted teeth, "You're just a fake—but not weak, I'll give you that!"
Lazuli smirked coldly. "I'd say you're the fake. Looking at you makes me sick."
Twin crimson beams erupted from their eyes, clashing violently in midair, crackling with electric heat.
Below, Trunks and both Bulmas watched in anxious silence.
Bulma turned to Chiga. "Can our Lazuli really win? That other one's not even human... she might overpower her."
Chiga's golden eyes glowed faintly as he watched the two clash. His tone was calm but firm.
"No—she won't lose. If this continues, the one who stands victorious will definitely be our Lazuli."
