Chapter 453 - 453: Journey Through Time.

Early the next morning, Bulma brought Trunks to their door.

Without Bulma even needing to speak, Chiga already understood why she had come.

"You want me to help Trunks sort out the future, right?"

Being seen through so easily by Chiga, Bulma felt a bit embarrassed and stammered,

"Ah, you already knew..."

Chiga smiled slightly, about to respond when Lazuli suddenly said,

"Chiga, can you help him? I keep feeling like the tragedy in the future is somehow related to me..."

Since both girls had spoken, Chiga had no reason to refuse. He spread his hands and said casually,

"What are we waiting for then? Let's go."

"Oh my, talking about time travel right in front of me—an Angel—is that really okay?"

Vados, dressed in the same outfit she had conjured yesterday, walked down from the second floor with a faint smile.

Trunks froze, his expression stiffening with clear fear. The impression Vados had left on him yesterday was deeply etched in his mind.

Bulma instinctively hid behind Chiga. He sighed helplessly and said,

"Vados, stop scaring people. Didn't you say yesterday that you wouldn't interfere with the Seventh Universe's affairs anymore?"

Vados tilted her head, thinking for a moment, then said with a puzzled expression,

"Did I? It seems so. But leaving me here as a guest without entertainment doesn't seem right either!"

Chiga narrowed his eyes slightly. "Then what do you want to do?"

"Hmm... how about taking me along? Breaking the rules feels quite exciting!"

"..."

The group soon arrived at Capsule Corporation, where they saw the time machine Trunks had brought.

Vados curiously examined the machine, running her fingers across its frame.

"It's truly remarkable. Human technology can now achieve time travel? It's almost catching up to the Time Rings."

Bulma smiled proudly and said,

"Amazing, right? The future me invented it!"

Vados chuckled lightly. "Is that so? Well, if this gets discovered later, I'll hold you responsible."

"Uh... I was just joking! You believe me, right?"

Trunks went on to explain the time machine. Since it could only carry one person, his idea was for Chiga to travel alone to the future.

Hearing this, Lazuli frowned. "So the rest of us just wait here? What if Chiga can't come back?"

"He won't have to worry," Trunks said. "Once he goes to the future, he can refuel there, and then Mr. Chiga will be able to return."

Lazuli didn't look entirely convinced but said nothing more.

After a brief silence, Vados spoke again. "How about I go ask the Kaioshin for a Time Ring? That one can carry more people."

Chiga shot her a sharp glance, thinking, You've completely given up on rules, haven't you? You keep saying time travel without permission is forbidden, and now you want to borrow a Time Ring.

But he didn't find her behavior annoying. Being a God himself, he understood that rules were merely words shaped by power. Sometimes, being a little hypocritical was just part of the game.

Vados summoned her staff. "I'll go now. I'll be back soon."

Chiga raised a hand to stop her. "No need for such trouble. If the machine is too small... just make it bigger."

Bulma blinked in disbelief. "You mean enlarge the entire machine? That's impossible! The materials are rare—I couldn't build another even if I wanted to!"

Vados said nothing, simply watching Chiga, her intuition telling her he had another way.

"Everyone, step back a little," Chiga instructed.

Then, his right eye glowed with a radiant golden light. He whispered,

"Sukunahikona."

Under everyone's astonished gaze, the time machine suddenly expanded several times over. What had once held only one person could now comfortably fit eight or ten.

Even Vados, an Angel, was briefly speechless. "Changing the size of matter itself... this is the power of rules? Fascinating. A God who commands both might and law—no wonder he had no interest in becoming a God of Destruction."

Trunks was completely stunned. Only now did he begin to grasp what being a God truly meant—absolute freedom, boundless power.

As the golden glow faded from Chiga's eye, he dusted off his hands. "Alright everyone, it's time for us to depart."

Bulma looked up at the now enormous machine. Even the access ladder had grown; she clearly couldn't climb it. Since everyone else could fly, she gave Chiga a pleading look.

He immediately understood, but before he could move, Lazuli stepped forward and effortlessly lifted Bulma into her arms.

Bulma looked startled. Lazuli smiled slightly. "Miss Bulma can't climb up, can she? It's fine—I'll take care of you."

Without waiting for a response, she leapt gracefully into the air, carrying Bulma inside the time machine.

Vados watched them thoughtfully, then glanced back at Chiga. For a brief moment, her balance faltered.

Alarmed, Chiga flashed to her side. "What's wrong? Are you not feeling well?"

The idea of an Angel feeling unwell sounded absurd, but his concern was genuine.

A faint blush spread across Vados's pale blue cheeks. Holding her forehead, she murmured,

"It might be because I've been away from the Sixth Universe for too long... my body feels a bit weak."

Chiga frowned. Can Angels really not leave their own universe for long? Is that even possible?

"Then I'll send you back," he said firmly. "You shouldn't take the time machine."

Vados rolled her eyes inwardly. You big idiot. If I wanted to leave, I would have by now.

Instead, she smiled softly. "No need. I'll be fine soon. But for now... could you take me up there?"

"Of course."

Chiga gently placed his arm around her waist and lifted her effortlessly into the sky, flying toward the enlarged time machine.

Lazuli, already inside, stared wide-eyed as the two entered. She hadn't expected even an Angel to make such a bold move.
