Chapter : 30 : Different Paths Yet The Same Goals : :
Location : Kingdom Of Valerion : Valerion Academy :
" Alright I want you all of you to listen to me very carefully . "
" Two days ago we have conducted your magical affinity tests and you all know the results of it . "
" As such I am happy to announce that from now onwards your magical training will start in earnest . "
Hearing this suddenly the blood of every young students in the room surged up with excitement .
Because this is what they came here for .
Now that the magical training will finally start they will take the first steps towards becoming a wizard .
And the start of the magical training also means that from now on they will no longer be restrained on doing just the theoretical classes or basic physical exercises and trainings .
It means soon there martial art classes will also start .
Followed by Alchemy and summoning classes for those who wants to go in that field .
This was the beginning they were waiting for the past month .
" Alright listen up from now onwards your classes will be divided between me and the rest of the three gentleman here . "
As soon as he said that the attention of the room turned to the three people standing beside professor Frost .
In an instant almost everyone present in the room recognised the first one .
The first was a handsome man around the same age as professor Frost .
He was wearing a noble attire and held a bright smile on his face .
It was obviously none other than Liam Flameworth - the role model teacher of the school .
Just looking at him made many girls in the class start giggling with bright smiles .
While the boys on the other hand looked at him as someone to take inspirations from .
If not for the fact that professor Frost was present they would have already gathered around him to ask for various kinds of things .
This just goes to show how much his popularity is in the academy .
And to be honest it is quite understandable .
After all he is good looking , good natured , always tries to help the students with smile and had a lot of patience .
Unlike Professor Frost who gave much importance to the rules and decipline of the classroom professor Flameworth was someone who would occasionally allow students to play around .
Obviously the bottom line being that you cannot do something too dangerous .
" Alright I know you are excited to hear the news but remember not let it go over your heads . " - Alister Frost said .
" From now your classes will be divided in different parts taught by various teachers . "
" I will be responsible for your theoretical classes especially theoretical magic . "
" That means everyday from now on one class each day will be assigned to me and you will make sure that you are present in most of the days . "
" If you fail to come then you will have tell me the reason properly and if I find out that you were bunking my class then .... "
" Gulp . "
He did not need to say anything more as sounds of audible gulps could be hard from the students .
" Is that understood !!!! "
" Yes sir ! "
The quick answer made professor Frost gave a nod of approval .
" Good ! there is one last thing I would like to say . "
" Magic is the art of discipline . "
" And discipline is to be learnt and practiced while controlling your emotions and not letting yourself slow away with it . "
With that last speech professor Frost gave the podium for the next speaker .
" Good morning everyone my name is Liam Flameworth and you may call me professor Liam or professor Flameworth . "
" I know that you may have been a little scared by this frightening man just now but let me tell you I am nothing like him . "
Hearing this many in the class wanted to laugh a little as they have always heard about the rivalry between these two professors .
But a very clear gaze from Alistair Frost made them shut their mouths immediately .
" I will be responsible for teaching you magical combat . "
" And I specialise in fire type magic but I also know other kinds of elemental magics so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me . "
" Yes sir !!!! "
After a enthusiastic answer Liam Flameworth gave a good laugh and then continued to say .
" But more importantly while we are learning together let's give it our all and always remember one thing . "
" Magic should always come from within yourself and sometimes to go a little beyond some rules and discipline to bring about your room creativity . "
" I hope you will all remember that . "
With that both of them had concluded their own speeches and step down for the third person to arrive .
From the two different teachers the students understood that both of them followed very different philosophies of magic .
At this moment Cian who was looking at the scene from behind also felt the true complexity of this world .
' Professor Frost's magical philosophy is centred around a string disciplined mind and control over your rampant emotions . '
' In simple words it's more about discipline and control . '
And to be honest this concept of discipline and control was indeed very hard for the original Hero Zeal Cloudseaker to understand .

' Well !!!! he is the hero afterall '
And in a typical scenario It wouldn't look very convincing if a hero is using his tactical brain more than his loud mouth and emotional charges .
Alister Frost's concept of magic and discipline were very absolute and although it was not quite rigid it was still difficult for many to understand and practice .
It was also one of the reasons why in the early part of the story Alistair Frost was seen as some kind of a small time character who always .
Later in the series this confusion was over and he was seen as a feared , strict but loving teacher who followed discipline on to his students but did so even more harshley on himself .
' Only other hand the philosophy of Professor Liam Flameworth is different from professor Frost . '
Just like their magical affinities differs from each other so does personalities .
Professor Frost is more like the cold but strong ice magic .
Professor Flameworth on the other hand was like the fire magic strong and warm when you these strength to pass through the cold nights .
And yet he was the fire the energy that would destroy his enemies to protect the ones he loves .
' Professor Liam Flameworth is known for his light hearted and energetic nature. '
' Although belonging from a very rich and powerful noble family in the capital city Liam Flameworth has no discrimination against any of his students and hates the flowery nature of noble society . '
If professor Alistair Frost was all about following discipline and rules and listening to one's mind then professor Liam Flameworth was all about listening to one's heart .
His personality and philosophy was something more close to the hero Zeal Cloudseaker then the previous one .
' Although the sheer scale of Zeal's actions in the future would even make this light hearted man go back in shock . '
But that's a story for another time .
' In short both of the professors followed different philosophies and ways of Magic but still at the end their goals are the same. '
It just goes to so how different yet be so similar people can be to each other .
Because it's not a question about whose methods were better than the others .
' Because personally I would say both of their methods are correct and wrong in many situations . '
One relied too much on discipline and rules while the other was perhaps too much lacks about it .
And personally Cian believed in balancing the both .
In a manners both professors followed different philosophis and yet their goals was the same .
In short it was ....
" Different paths yet the same goals . "
Just as he was thinking all this the third person standing in the room finally came forward .
He was a very big and muscular man whose height easily surpassed anyone in the room .
The most striking feature of the man was the scar on his left cheek that looked like a battle scar from a long and deadly conflict .
And the giant montante sword in his hand only proved as a symbol of his raw strength .
Some students were immediately intimidated by his presence .
This was a different kind of
intimidation from the one's they usually got from professor Frost .
When it came to professor Frost it felt more like a cold intensity but this one felt like a primal power .
It felt like a beast was walking in front of them with the power to overthrow anyone in his way .
Even Cian looking at the man in front of him couldn't help but be a little surprised himself .
' Wow ! he is even more bigger and intimidating in real life then he was in the novel . '
As the man finally reached the podium and was about to speak everyone's attention was clearly focused on him and him alone .
Then he spoke up .
And his voice loud and commanding like that of a man who had lead armies the of thousands in his past .
" Students !!!! Attention !!!! "
