The door sealed behind Zaeryn, and a narrow band of crimson light travelled around its frame as the room's privacy field activated.
Marceline continued looking at him for several seconds before extending the glass in her hand toward him.
"Hold this for me."
Zaeryn accepted it, although his attention remained upon her. She looked ravishing. In all fairness, when did she not look ravishing?
"You invited me here to carry your drink?"
Marceline grinned mischievously, "No. I invited you because you were disappointed that you would miss my showing."
His gaze moved toward the loose robe wrapped around her body, and he finally noticed that she had changed since leaving him in the atrium. The robe was still dark crimson, but this one was made from a thinner material that followed the shape of her body whenever she moved.
"Marcie," he said slowly.
