"Seraphina Moon, don't you dare take another step toward that closet!"
I froze mid-stride, my hand already reaching for the wardrobe door. Turning around, I found Lyra and Iris blocking the entrance to my bedroom suite, both wearing mischievous grins that immediately made me suspicious.
"What's going on?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at my sister and our new friend.
Lyra sauntered forward, arms crossed over her chest. "The gown you had made for tonight's ball? You won't be wearing it."
My mouth fell open. "What? But I spent weeks working with the seamstress to get it perfect!"
"Plans have changed," Iris said, her wolf-like eyes gleaming with excitement. "Alpha King's orders."
I placed my hands on my hips, feeling my pregnant belly press against my palms. "Kaelen did this? What is he planning?"
Before either woman could answer, a small army of people entered the suite behind them – makeup artists, hairstylists, and assistants carrying mysterious garment bags and boxes.
